Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed a public meeting in Vidisha in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. Shri Nadda slammed the corruption and divisive policies of Congress while praising the developmental efforts of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi’s policies. During the event, State President and Khajuraho Lok Sabha candidate Shri V. D. Sharma and Sagar Lok Sabha candidate Smt Lata Wankhede were present on the stage.

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda highlighted the transformation of Madhya Pradesh from being labeled as a BIMARU state two decades ago to now being recognized as a developed state under the BJP government. The implementation of initiatives like the Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojana has uplifted over 25 crore people above the poverty line. Under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi, India's global stature has risen significantly. From being the 11th largest economy, India has now climbed to the 5th position, surpassing countries like Britain. The country is poised to become the world's third-largest economy by 2027 under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi. India has emerged as a major player in the pharmaceutical industry, producing high-quality and cost-effective medicines globally. Export numbers have witnessed a remarkable surge, increasing by 128 percent. India has surpassed Japan to become the third-largest automobile producer. The petrochemicals sector has also experienced significant growth. A decade ago, most phones used in India were under labels like "Made in China," "Made in Japan," or "Made in Korea," but today, nearly all phones in the hands of the public are labeled "Made in India," with 97% of them being manufactured in the country.

Shri JP Nadda remarked that if strength has been provided to the villages, the poor, the oppressed, the marginalized, the Dalits, women, youth, and farmers, it is due to the policies of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Earlier the Panchayat used to receive ₹2-3 Lakh, now panchayat is receiving up to ₹3 to ₹5 crore for development. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 4 crore pucca houses have been built, up to 40 pucca houses in each panchayat. After the victory of the BJP, in the next 5 years, 3 crore more pucca houses will be built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, 55 crore impoverished individuals received annual financial assistance of ₹5 lakh for the treatment of severe illnesses. After the another term of PM Shri Narendra Modi, every senior citizen of India aged up to 70 Years, will receive ₹5 lakh rupees health cover under Ayushman Bharat. PM Shri Narendra Modi has decided to make 3 crore women ‘Lakhpati Didi’. Under Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi, the Central government has directly transferred ₹2,000 every month to the accounts of 10 crore 78 lakh farmers. Additionally, CM Shri Mohan Yadav transferred ₹6000 into the bank accounts of farmers. Through the Jal Jeevan Mission, 11 crore tap water connections have been provided in India, out of which 52 lakh families were from Madhya Pradesh.

Shri Nadda highlighted the significant development initiatives in Madhya Pradesh, including a fourfold increase in tax devolution and grant-in-aid, a 24-fold increase in the budget for rail infrastructure, the initiation of PM Mitra Park in Dhar district expected to generate 2 lakh jobs, the launch of four Vande Bharat trains from Bhopal, establishment of the Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering and Technology in Gwalior, allocation of 14 new medical colleges, provision of super-speciality blocks, implementation of schemes like Tantya Mama Arthik Kalyan Yojana and Bhagwan Munda Swarojgar Yojna for tribal empowerment and eradication of Sickle cell anemia, and the successful implementation of 'Ladli Behna' and 'Ladli Laxmi' Yojna’  for women's empowerment and education of girls. The construction of the rail route from Kota to Beena, valued at ₹2,475 crore, is underway. Additionally, the establishment of the Bundelkhand medical college, a project previously unforeseen, is now in progress. Furthermore, the construction of the Sant Ravidas temple, valued at ₹100 crore, is ongoing. Under the BJP government's leadership, there has been a steadfast focus on bolstering rural areas, uplifting the socio-economically disadvantaged, and empowering various segments of society, including youth, women, and farmers. Notably, the Modi government has granted soldiers the autonomy to respond promptly to cross-border provocations from Pakistan, a stark contrast to previous protocols requiring permission from Delhi. Responses to attacks like Pulwama and Uri have been swift and decisive, including air strikes and surgical strikes, showcasing India's resolve. Moreover, the construction of all-weather roads enables soldiers to reach the border swiftly, ensuring enhanced security measures.

Shri Nadda emphasized the importance of supporting Smt. Lata Wankhede for her election as MP, ensuring representation for their community in Parliament. Contrasting the progressive vision of PM Shri Modi with the dynastic nature of the INDI alliance, he highlighted the difference in agendas: while PM Shri Modi advocates for "Bhrashtachar Hatao", the INDI alliance focuses on "Bharashtachariyon ko Bachao".

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda highlighted a series of corruption allegations against the Congress, citing scandals such as the coal scam, Submarine scandal, AgustaWestland helicopter deal, rice and sugar scams, and irregularities in the commonwealth, 2G, and 3G spectrum. He also mentioned specific instances of corruption involving Akhilesh Yadav, Lalu Yadav, Mamata Banerjee's ministers, Arvind Kejriwal, DMK leaders, and K. Kavitha. INDI Alliance is a coalition of corrupt leaders, with several prominent figures like Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Sanjay Singh, Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, and others being out on bail, while some like Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain, and Azam Khan are currently in jail. He emphasized that half of the INDI leaders are in jail while the other half are out on bail. On one side, leaders like Shri Mohan Yadav are dedicated to the upliftment of backward, Dalit, and Mahadalit communities, while on the other hand, the opposition is attempting to tamper with the reservation system by potentially reallocating it based on religion. Despite Baba Saheb Ambedkar's opposition to religion-based reservation, the Congress has made efforts to implement such policies in states like Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. However, with the BJP's presence and the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the reservation rights of SC, ST, and OBC communities remain secure. Shri JP Nadda urged the voters to support the candidates and ensure the third term for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
