Salient Points of speech of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji while addressing a public rally in Darbhanga, Bihar

INDI alliance members are feeling unsettled by the overwhelming public support the NDA is receiving throughout Bihar. This strong endorsement from the people in the sacred region of Mithila is truly remarkable

*****************

Those who haven't yet received the advantages of BJP's initiatives will obtain all these benefits in Modi's third tenure, assured by Modi himself

*****************

NDA government draws inspiration from Karpoori Thakur, who was honored with the Bharat Ratna by the government some time ago

*****************

One 'Shehzada' views the entire nation as his possession, while the other has regarded the entirety of Bihar as his own since childhood. The report cards of these two 'Shehzadas' bear a striking resemblance, marked only by scandals and rampant lawlessness

*****************

Congress is attempting to diminish the OBC quota and introduce reservations for Muslims based on religion. Furthermore, the RJD is aligning closely with Congress in this scheme

*****************

In the 21st century, India has reached a point where it has broken free from its constraints and risen once more. Presently, India's standing in the global arena has reached unprecedented levels of credibility

*****************

Can Congress commit in writing that the INDI alliance will not strip away the reservations of SC, ST, and OBC communities and allocate them to a specific religious group? Will they pledge not to manipulate the Constitution based on religion?

*****************

Congress is plotting to enforce an inheritance tax on public assets. Through this legislation, Congress aims to seize savings accumulated by parents throughout their lives for their children

*****************

In the past, Bihar was plagued by the kidnapping industry and large-scale scams drained the state treasury. Daughters hesitated to venture outside, and land transactions often preceded job placements. However, under the leadership of Shri Nitish Kumar, the NDA government is tirelessly dedicated to Bihar's development, working ceaselessly day and night

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed a public meeting in Darbhanga, Bihar on Saturday. Shri Modi strongly criticized the RJD's anti-Sanatan character and dynastic politics, highlighting the unprecedented development work accomplished during the BJP tenure. During the event, Union Minister Shri Ashwini Choubey, Jhanjharpur Lok Sabha Candidate Shri Rampreet Mandal, Darbhanga Lok Sabha candidate Shri Gopal Thakur, Samastipur candidate Smt. Shambhavi Choudhary and Madhubani candidate Shri Ashok Kumar Yadav among other leaders were present.

Shri Modi remarked that PM Shri Narendra Modi expressed heartfelt congratulations on the inauguration of the Ram Mandir, marking the end of a 500-year wait. Our ancestors persevered and sacrificed, never losing hope because they believed that one day, a son would be born who would fulfill the 500-year wait and establish Ram Mandir. The anticipation for ‘Sita Mata’ and Mithila was also there. When Ram Lalla was being consecrated in Ayodhya, I had stated that India would now script the future of the next 1,000 years. Often, a singular event in history shapes the destiny of centuries to come. 1,000 years ago, as India faced invasions from the West, no one could have foreseen the long period of subjugation that followed. Bihar once a guiding light for the nation was beset by such trials that much was laid to ruin. Yet, the destiny of India, the destiny of Bihar, has taken a new course. This era has dawned in the 21st century, where India has shattered all constraints and risen anew. Presently, India's standing in the global arena has reached unprecedented heights. We have ventured to the moon, a feat unmatched by any other. A decade ago, we stood as the 11th largest economy globally. Yet, in a mere 10 years, we have ascended to the 5th position, showcasing our economic prowess.

Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the world faced an unprecedented crisis, the likes of which hadn't been seen in a century. Many feared that India would succumb to this calamity. However, we exhibited resilience and emerged stronger from the ordeal, even offering guidance to the global community. Unfortunately, the INDI alliance mistreated the people of Bihar during this period. Citizens were unjustly evicted from states like Maharashtra, where the INDI coalition held power, and were abandoned midway on buses. In this election, I have presented a comprehensive roadmap for development over the next five years, along with a vision for the coming 25 years. However, it's also crucial to reflect on the past. Just as there's a 'Shehzada' in Delhi, there's a 'Shehzada' in Patna as well. One has treated the entire country as his fiefdom, while the other has considered Bihar his own domain since childhood. The report cards of these two 'Shehzadas' are strikingly similar, marred by scams and rampant lawlessness. At one time, the kidnapping industry flourished, Bihar's treasury was looted through massive scams, and women were afraid to go out after sunset. Jobs were handed out in exchange for land. However, under the leadership of Shri Nitish Kumar, the NDA government is tirelessly working for Bihar's development. Our guiding light is Karpoori Thakur, to whom we had the honor of awarding the Bharat Ratna not long ago.

Shri Modi stated that, in the past 10 years, Bihar has witnessed remarkable progress. Over 40 lakh poor families have received pucca houses, nearly 1.25 crore gas connections have been provided, and free ration and healthcare facilities are now available for the needy. Modi has decided to extend the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat scheme to elderly individuals aged 70 years and above. We are committed to ensuring that no one is left behind. In our third term, all those who have been left out of the welfare schemes will be provided with the benefits they deserve. As part of this commitment, we aim to construct an additional 3 crore pucca houses to accommodate those in need. Development is flourishing in Darbhanga. From the construction of airports and railway stations to the introduction of the Amrit Bharat train and modern roads, progress is evident everywhere. We are also addressing the bottlenecks faced by Darbhanga AIIMS to ensure its smooth functioning.

Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized that when the foundation of development is strong, the industries and employment are created. An IT park has been established in Darbhanga, creating new opportunities for the youth.  In the Mithila region, there is abundant production of makhana, lychee, and mango. With good roads and infrastructure, its export will increase worldwide. The BJP government has granted it a GI tag to ensure the global reach of makhana. The BJP has provided a ₹42 thousand crore aid to women self-help groups in Bihar through banks. In Darbhanga and Madhubani, 11 lakh women are associated with self-help groups. Women have also initiated Shilpgram in Darbhanga and Modi himself promotes their Madhubani paintings worldwide. The progress of our women further motivates Modi to work hard.

Shri Modi stated that after extensive discussions, our constitution was framed, and one of the most debated issues was about providing reservation based on religion in the constitution. In the presence of stalwarts like Baba Saheb Ambedkar, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, and many other eminent scholars, a serious discussion took place on the issue of reservation based on religion in the constitution. Under the leadership of Baba Saheb DR. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, the Constituent Assembly decided 75 years ago that reservation based on religion cannot be granted in India and the country cannot be divided again. Baba Saheb Ambedkar openly advocated that there would be no reservation based on religion. Pt. Nehru also opposed reservation based on religion. However, now when the Congress has lost touch with the poor, SC, ST, OBC communities, it is going against the sentiments of Pt. Nehru, targeting the decision of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, and trying to undermine the constitution by resorting to divisive tactics. Congress wants to reduce the quotas for OBCs, SCs and STs in order to provide reservations based on religion to Muslims. RJD is also standing shoulder to shoulder with Congress in this policy. In 2007, while serving as the Railway Minister, Lalu Prasad Yadav also mentioned the idea of removing reservations for SC, ST, and OBC categories and providing quotas for specific communities. If reservations are granted based on religion, the rights of the Yadav, Kurmi, Paswan, and Musahar communities will be usurped. Congress has not yet responded to the challenge posed on the issue of reservations. Will Congress be able to give in writing that the Indian Alliance will not snatch away reservations for SC, ST, and OBC categories and will not tamper with the Constitution based on religion. For the past 12 days, Congress has been unable to respond to this challenge. As long as Modi is there, no one can tamper with the reservations for Dalits and backward classes. Congress and RJD are flustered at the prospect of their intentions being exposed.

Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that the RJD has now begun tallying who is Hindu and who is Muslim within the military. The INDI Alliance can do anything to divide society and break the unity of the country. The first person to take a bullet to defend Mother India is always an Indian, and leaders of the RJD see such heroes through the prism of Hindu-Muslim identity. Is Abdul Hamid remembered simply because he belonged to the Muslim community? They raised questions about surgical strikes and air strikes and insulted the Chief of Army Staff. The nation knows whose signals are driving all this and whose favor is being sought. The RJD's history is merely about appeasement, using the facade of social justice. During the investigation of the Godhra incident, former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav recommended the formation of the Banerjee Commission to exonerate those who burned alive 60 karsevaks. However, the court dismissed the report and sentenced all the perpetrators. The whole world knew that the karsevaks were burned alive, yet a fake investigation report was created to shift blame onto them. The people of Bihar will not allow a return to the era of lanterns.

Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji remarked that the Congress is devising a plan to impose a 55% tax on people's inheritance. Under this law, the Congress intends to seize 55% of the savings parents have accumulated for their children over their lifetimes. The Congress has issued a fatwa to impose a 55% tax on inheritance. However, the people of the country do not approve of this plunder at all. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi appealed to the gathered audience to ensure a resounding victory for the local BJP candidates, thereby aiming to form a Modi government once again in the country.
