Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah addressed public rallies in Badshahpur, Nangal Chaudhary and Indri, Haryana, on Sunday. During his address, Shri Shah criticized the previous Congress government in Haryana for rampant corruption in job distribution, disrespecting soldiers and farmers, and halting the state's development. Shri Shah highlighted the developmental work carried out by the double-engine BJP government in Haryana. During the events, Haryana CM Shri Nayabb Singh Sini, Haryana Co-In charge Shri Surender Nagar, Shri Satya Prakash Jravata, Former Tripura CM Shri Biplab Deb, BJP MP Smt Kiran Chaudhary, Former Union minister Shri Kailash Chaudhary, District President Shri Daya Ram Yadav, Sohna Candidate Shri Tejpal Tanwar, Badshahpur Candidate Shri Rao Narbir Singh, Pataudi Candidate Smt Bimla Choudhary, Nangal Chaudhary Candidate Shri Abhe Singh Yadav, Narnaul Candidate Shri Om Prakash Yadav, MP Shri Satish Gautam, UP Cabinet Minister Shri Narendra Kashyap, Indri Candidate Shri Ramkumar Kashyap, Gharaunda Candidate Shri Harvinder Kalyan, Assandh Candidate Shri Yogendra Rana, Neelokhedi Candidate Shri Bhagwan Das Kabirpanthi and Karnal Candidate Shri Jagmohan Anand among other leaders were present.
Shri Shah stated that the overall atmosphere in Haryana indicates that the BJP government will be formed again, achieving a hat-trick and making the ‘lotus’ bloom. The land of Haryana has played a vital role in every freedom struggle. Every 10th soldier in the Indian Army is from Haryana. The BJP has not only developed Rohtak but has also focused on the overall development of Haryana, working for the progress of all 36 Biradari, rather than just one. Haryana is a land of bravery, and in 2014, when change began, Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji launched his campaign from this very land. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji had promised to implement One Rank-One Pension, a demand that had been ignored for 40 years by Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, and Sonia Gandhi—three generations of Congress leaders who did not honor the army. But after Shri Narendra Modi Ji became the Prime Minister, he fulfilled the demand for One Rank-One Pension. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has also implemented the third version of this scheme, ensuring that pensions are now aligned with the new salary structure.
Union Home Minister Shri Shah remarked that Rahul Gandhi is a ‘machine of lies’. Rahul Gandhi claims that the Agniveer Scheme was introduced because the government didn’t want to provide pensions. But the truth is, the Agniveer scheme was created to keep the armed forces young. Both the Haryana and central governments will provide pensions to every Agniveer. After 5 years, there will not be a single Agniveer without a job with pension.
Shri Shah stated that on 3rd October, the Navratri festival begins and the people of Haryana will cast their votes on 5th October. While voting, people must remember to give a befitting reply to Rahul Gandhi, who disrespects ‘Shakti.’ Congress party is blinded by appeasement and proudly claim that they have defeated the thought of Ayodhya. But Rahul Gandhi must understand that winning and losing seats is a part of elections, it should not be connected to Bhagwan Ram. For 550 years, Ram Lalla resided in a tent, and the Congress party did nothing. But Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji performed the Bhoomipujan, ensured the construction of the Ram Mandir, and conducted the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony.
Union Home Minister Shri Shah remarked that the previous Congress government in Haryana focused only on one caste and one district. In 2014, Haryana chose the BJP government, and over the past 10 years, the development of 36 Biradari and the entire state has been ensured. For the first time, Haryana has seen a government that cares about 36 Biradari. Previous governments focused solely on the development of one district, fostering hooliganism and corruption. During Hooda’s tenure, dealers, the 'Damad,' and corrupt individuals held sway, and acres of land in Haryana were sold off just to enrich ‘Dilli Ka Damad’. A Congress candidate was seen in a video claiming that if he becomes the MLA, he will distribute 50 jobs to each of his supporters. The Congress government has distributed jobs through the 'Kharchi-Parchi' model everytime. However, when the BJP government came to power in Haryana, it ensured jobs without resorting to such corrupt practices like 'Kharchi-Parchi'. During the Congress era, bribery for jobs was rampant, but under the BJP government, postmen delivered appointment letters directly to people's homes. The BJP has committed that, once the BJP government is formed again, 5 lakh youth will be provided jobs within 5 years. On one hand, there are Congress' 10 years of family politics, 'Damad Kalyan,' looting, and the insult of backward classes and Dalits. On the other hand, there are BJP's 10 years of youth development without 'Kharchi Parchi,' good governance, and the development of all 36 Biradari.
Shri Shah highlighted that there’s a new trend of ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ slogans being raised in Congress gatherings. Rahul Gandhi must explain his silence on Congress workers chanting ‘Pakistan Zindabad.’ The Congress party has become blind in its appeasement politics. They even claim that they will reinstate Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir just for the sake of forming a government. Rahul Gandhi must understand that even his three generations would not be able to reinstate Article 370. They aim to reintroduce the Kashmir flag, but as long as the Modi government is in power, only the beloved tricolor will be hoisted in Kashmir. Congress party nurtured Naxalism and terrorism in the country for the sake of appeasement politics, while the Modi government has eradicated such activities. There was a time when terrorist activities were normalized in India, and Manmohan Singh remained silent while Sonia Gandhi was often abroad. No one cared about the martyred soldiers. However, under Shri Narendra Modi Ji's government, when Pakistan attempted attacks in Uri and Pulwama, the Indian Army retaliated by entering Pakistani territory within 10 days. Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji sent a message to the world about India and the Indian Army's might, demonstrating that when provoked, it retaliates with strength.
Union Home Minister Shri Shah remarked that the situation of Congress is akin to the famous saying 'Ek Anar, 100 Bimaar.' They are fighting among themselves for the position of the Chief Minister. The Hoodas are at odds with each other, Kumari Selja is in the race, and Randeep Surjewala from Priyanka Gandhi's camp is also in contention. However, they must realize that they will neither gain a majority in the elections nor have their CM; the CM will be from the BJP.
Shri Shah stated that for the protection of Kashmir, the youth of Haryana have made sacrifices and the BJP will not let their sacrifices go in vain. The Congress party makes numerous promises during elections. In Himachal, Karnataka, and Telangana, the Congress made many promises during elections, but not a single one has been fulfilled. Rahul Gandhi's guarantees have all fallen flat. The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh stated that it is impossible to fulfill the promises made by the Congress. The BJP also knows it is not possible, but why did the Congress party make such promises? The BJP does not make any promises that it cannot fulfill.
Union Home Minister Shri Shah highlighted that once the BJP government is established, every woman in Haryana will receive ₹2,100 directly in her account and it is ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’. Rahul Gandhi is a ‘machine for spreading lies.’ While Rahul Gandhi discusses Minimum Support Price, during Congress' tenure—at the national and state levels—they only procured wheat and rice at MSP. In contrast, the BJP has decided to buy 24 different crops at MSP. The MSP for millet has been set at ₹3,000, Bajra is priced at ₹5,600 and for mustard, it has been increased to ₹5,600. The MSP of wheat was ₹1,400 and has been increased to ₹2,275. The BJP has decided to raise the MSP of gram from ₹3,100 to ₹5,450 and will buy paddy at ₹3,100. The BJP has purchased paddy and wheat at two and a half times more the prices compared to Congress' government.
Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah stated that in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP of intending to abolish reservations. While the BJP consistently responded to his claims, the public began to place some trust in him. Recently, during his visit to America, Rahul Gandhi stated that he would end reservations for SC, ST, and OBC. Rahul Gandhi's assertions are contradictory to his sayings. As long as the Bharatiya Janata Party is in power, the Congress cannot eliminate reservations for OBC, SC, and ST communities. Along with the backward class reservation, the BJP also provided 10% reservation to the general category. Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has always respected the backward classes, while the Congress party has consistently opposed them. The Kaka Kalelkar Commission report was never implemented, and the Congress party oppressed backward class reservations. Indira Gandhi suppressed the Mandal Commission report, and then Rajiv Gandhi opposed it. In contrast, Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has provided 27% reservation in admissions for the backward classes. There are 27 ministers in Shri Narendra Modi Ji's cabinet from the backward classes, including 2 from the Bargarh community. Shri Narendra Modi Ji himself hails from the Extremely Backward Classes. Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji provided constitutional recognition to the Backward Class Commission. Under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the BJP has provided reservations for OBCs in medical, engineering, and Sainik schools. Shri Nayab Singh Saini has also increased the creamy layer limit for OBCs from ₹6 lakh to ₹8 lakh.
Shri Shah stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party has undertaken numerous initiatives for development. During Deepender Hooda's tenure in Haryana and the rule of the UPA government at the center, the state received only ₹41,000 crore. In contrast, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has allocated ₹2 lakh 92 thousand crore for Haryana's development from 2014 to 2024. Among all the states, Shri Narendra Modi Ji has the deepest affection for Haryana. BJP has introduced the Bhavantar Yojana for farmers' welfare and provided loans to street vendors. Under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, it will ensure free electricity to 5 lakh households. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has introduced health coverage of up to ₹5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Following the BJP's victory in Haryana, this coverage will increase to ₹10 lakh, and senior citizens will receive free treatment up to ₹15 lakh.
Union Home Minister Shri Shah highlighted that the Huda City Metro Station has connected Old Gurugram with Cyber City. A total of ₹940 crore has been spent in Gurugram for roads, electricity, water supply, and health services. Additionally, 576 acres of land have been developed. The first elevated 8-lane Dwarka Expressway, spanning 30 km, was constructed at a cost of ₹9,000 crore. A ₹104 crore project was also completed to manage rainwater drainage over a 5 km stretch between Vatika Chowk and Sohna Road. In Haryana, the first nuclear power plant in North India has been established in Gorakhpur with an investment of ₹20,000 crore. Under the Bharatmala project, a road network spanning 1,000 km was developed at a cost of ₹45,000 crore, and the Gurugram Metro Rail project was completed for ₹5,000 crore. An AIIMS facility was built in Rewari at a cost of ₹1,700 crore, and a 700-bed cancer center was established at AIIMS Jhajjar. An Anubhav Kendra was developed in Kurukshetra with an investment of ₹240 crore. Under the Amrit Bharat scheme, 15 railway stations in Haryana have been upgraded, and the government has achieved 100% electrification of the state’s railway network. Haryana has become the largest exporter of Basmati rice in the country, and the export restrictions on Basmati rice have recently been lifted. All Basmati rice will now be sold at high prices in global markets. In villages, Haryana has granted land rights under the Lal Dora scheme and established educated panchayats. Women in Haryana now receive 50% reservation.
Shri Shah emphasized that Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has ensured the welfare of 60 crore people across the nation. Every household in Haryana has been provided with a gas cylinder, water supply, toilets, electricity, 5 kg of free food grains, and free medical facilities worth ₹5 lakh. BJP ensured 24-hour electricity to 92% of households, while exports increased threefold. Per capita income rose from ₹1,38,000 to ₹3,25,000. Additionally, old age pensions, widow pensions, and disability pensions were increased from ₹1,000 to ₹3,000. The Shagun Yojana increased from ₹31,000 to ₹71,000. The monthly remuneration of Anganwadi workers was raised from ₹7,500 to ₹14,000, while Asha worker salaries increased from ₹500 to ₹6,000. Under the 'Meri Fasal Mera Byora' scheme, 93,000 farmers were registered, with each farmer receiving ₹6,000. The Atal Kisan Mazdoor Canteens were started, and a heritage circuit connecting Rewari, Mahendragarh, Madhogarh, and Nanraul was developed to boost tourism. ₹30 crore was allocated for the development of Mahendragarh Fort, and a logistics park worth ₹5,800 crore will be established in Narnaul.
Union Home Minister Shri Shah further mentioned that in the coming days, a green hydrogen hub will be created in Mahendragarh, a new medical college will be opened, talent search centers for the Olympics will be established, and a modern auditorium with a capacity of 3,500 seats will be constructed in Mahendragarh. Financial assistance of ₹2,100 per month will be provided to women, and dialysis and diagnostic services will be offered free of cost in every hospital. In the BJP's next term, a new 700-bed hospital will be built in Gurugram. A world-class Fintech hub will also be established on 100 acres in Gurugram, providing job opportunities for youth. A Vishwakarma Mahavidyalaya will be opened, and services like CT scans, MRIs, cardiology, dialysis, and diabetes treatment will be offered free of charge at government hospitals. The BJP will work on establishing a new industrial township in Badshahpur, modeled after Kharkhoda. BJP will purchase 24 crops at a Minimum Support Price. Under the Grihini Yojana, the price of gas cylinders will not exceed ₹500. Scooters will be provided to girls going to college. A separate welfare board will be created with a sufficient budget for the development of 36 communities. OBC children will be guaranteed loans of up to ₹25 lakh. The BJP will also work on creating an international-level jungle safari in the Aravalli region.
Shri Shah emphasized that under the PM Kisan scheme, ₹200 crore has been provided to 51,000 farmers in Karnal. In the Kisan Man Dhan Yojana, 1,200 farmers have registered. The Arogya Yojana has benefited 8 lakh people in Karnal, offering free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh, and a medical college has been established at a cost of ₹761 crore. Under the PM Swanidhi scheme, ₹80 lakh has been distributed to street vendors. In the coming five years, an industrial model township will be developed in Karnal, and a railway line connecting Karnal to Yamunagar will be built. Olympic sports nurseries will also be established in every village. The Congress party is unable to secure the country or foster development, it is linked to corruption, nepotism, and appeasement. It has no connection to culture or the nation's history and is solely focused on family interests. The welfare of 60 crore poor people has come about due to Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji's efforts, not through Jawaharlal Nehru, Rajiv Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, or Sonia Gandhi. The Congress party is anti-poor, anti-backward classes, and against the interests of farmers and youth.
Union Home Minister Shri Shah remarked that the BJP did not nominate Shri Rao Narbir Singh in the last election, and many expected him to rebel. However, he remained loyal to the BJP for five years. Shri Shah appealed to the people to support Shri Rao Narbir Singh with a strong mandate. Comprehensive development in Haryana cannot be achieved by ‘Rahul Baba and company’. With the BJP in power at the center and after forming a government in the state, the double-engine BJP government will ensure Haryana's progress. Bharatiya Janata Party will protect the nation's borders, uphold reservations, and ensure that Article 370 never returns. The party will also amend the laws related to the Waqf Board in this session. Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah appealed to the people to ensure victory for the BJP candidates and to vote for the 'Lotus' symbol to strengthen the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
