Hon’ble Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah addressed three mega public meetings in Kasganj, Mainpuri and Etawah in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. Shri Shah praised the overall development of the state under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi while criticizing the appeasement of politics of opposition leaders. During the event, state BJP President Shri Bhupendra Chaudhary, Etah Lok Sabha candidate Shri Rajveer Singh, Etawah Lok Sabha candidate Shri Ram Shankar Katheria, Atrauli MLA Shri Sandeep Singh, Etawah district President Shri Sanjeev Rajput, Smt Poonam Bajaj, Shri Harshvardhan Arya, Shri K.P. Solanki, Shri Sandeep Jain, Shri Gyan Tiwari and others were present.

Shri Shah paid homage to Maa Chamunda Devi, Sheetla Maa, Bhagwan Bhimsen, and Maa Kaali, Neelkanth Mahadev Mandir commencing his address by expressing reverence. He conveyed respects to Maharaja Dumber Singh upon his visit. He emphasized that Kasganj has always been a place of sentiments, being the very land where Shri Kalyan Singh established his domain and was chosen repeatedly by the people. Shri Shah acknowledged the immense debt owed by every BJP Karyakarta in Uttar Pradesh, suggesting that perhaps no one could repay this debt for the next 50 years. Under the leadership of Shri Kalyan Singh, Uttar Pradesh witnessed the formation of a majority government for the first time, achieving remarkable milestones. Shri Kalyan Singh dedicated his life to the welfare of the backward classes and the cause of the Ram Janmabhoomi, while Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has diligently worked to fulfill his dreams and goals.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister highlighted the two factions prevailing in today's political arena, one aiming bullets at Ram devotees, while the other is dedicated to the construction of the Ram Mandir. He criticized the Congress and party led by Rahul Gandhi and Samajwadi party leader Akhilesh Yadav for veering off the issue of the Ram Mandir for 70 years, while the people reelected Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister and witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony on August 5th, 2020, followed by the consecration Pran Pratishtha on January 22. He noted the absence of Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Sonia Gandhi, Mallikkarjun Kharge, and Rahul Gandhi at the consecration ceremony, implying their past actions against the Karsevaks. The people have decided whether they want to elect a party that once fired bullets at the Karsevaks or support the BJP and Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who sacrificed their governments for the construction of the Ram Mandir.

Shri Shah reminisced about Shri Kalyan Singh's efforts for the upliftment of the backward classes and the poor. He criticized the Samajwadi Party for its opposition to the Mandal Commission report and its suppression of the Kalelkar Commission report, whereas Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, being the son of a poor mother, worked tirelessly to grant constitutional recognition to the backward classes. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi initiated the distribution of 5 kg of grains per person per month to 80 crore poor individuals, ensuring this guarantee until 2029.

Respected Union Home Minister highlighted that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the government provided LPG gas connection in every household, initiated the "Nal se Jal" scheme, offered free healthcare worth up to 5 lakh to 60 crore people, and subsequently provided homes to numerous individuals. With 3 crore homes already distributed, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, upon being elected for the third time by the people of India, will ensure homes for another 3 crore citizens and will make 3 crore women ‘Lakhpati Didi’. He paid tribute to the late Mahadeepak Singh Sakya, who served as a Member of Parliament from Etah constituency six times, attributing the BJP's success in the region to his contributions.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister criticized the Samajwadi Party led by Akhilesh Yadav for promoting casteism, evident in their family-centric approach to politics. He pointed out that Akhilesh Yadav himself is contesting from Kannauj, while his wife, Dimple Yadav, is contesting from Mainpuri, his nephew Akshay Yadav is contesting from Firozabad, Aditya Yadav from Badaun, and numerous other family members are contesting from different constituencies, with none of them being over 25 years old. Shri Shah emphasized that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has put an end to casteism and nepotism, instead focusing on the welfare of the poor, thereby uplifting their living standards. Through various initiatives, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has empowered the underprivileged and elevated their quality of life.

Shri Amit Shah rebutted Rahul Gandhi's claim that if the BJP secures a 400-seat majority, it will end reservation. Despite securing absolute majorities in 2014 and 2019, the BJP did not end reservation. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi supports reservation, and as long as the Bharatiya Janata Party exists, the reservation will remain intact. In Karnataka and Hyderabad, Congress implemented 5% reservation for a 'Special class', which disadvantaged backward classes. Under the BJP's administration, there was a fear of lawlessness and mafia rule in Uttar Pradesh, causing people to migrate. However, after Shri Yogi Adityanath became CM in 2017, it is the mafia, not the common people, who were migrating from the state.

Shri Shah highlighted the infrastructure development under the BJP government, including the construction of the Poorvanchal Expressway, Ganga Expressway, Gorakhpur Link Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway, and Balia Expressway, which have enhanced connectivity in the state. The length of National Highways has increased from 7000 KM to 12000 KM during the 10-year leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi. Nine airports have been constructed, with 12 more under construction, including Asia’s largest airport in Jewar. Over 25 domestic airways have been established, along with metro expansion in 12 states. The defence corridors will provide employment opportunities for thousands of youth, while 30 canal schemes have been implemented. Additionally, two AIIMS and 68 medical colleges have been established, with 22 more medical colleges under construction. Uttar Pradesh, once known for bomb blasts, now sees the establishment of bomb-making factories under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister commended Shri Rajveer Singh for his commendable developmental initiatives, such as the expansion of road networks, promotion of millet exports, establishment of medical colleges, and initiation of the Jawaharpur Thermal Project in the Etah-Kasganj region. Amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, PM Shri Narendra Modi's leadership has already secured a significant victory, with the BJP achieving a century of seats in the first two phases. Despite the alliance between two ‘Shehzadas’, Akhilesh and Rahul, they have failed to secure a single seat in the first two phases and are unlikely to do so in the third phase.

Shri Shah highlighted that for 70 years, the Congress party had treated Article 370 as an ‘illegitimate child’. AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge's remark questioned what the people of Rajasthan and UP have to do with Kashmir. Kharge should know that every person from UP will fight for Kashmir. However, on August 5, 2019, PM Narendra Modi abrogated Article 370. When the bill to abrogate was presented in Parliament, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi protested against it and stated that it would create bloodshed in Kashmir. However, not even a stone pelting incident took place after the abrogation of Article 370. During the Sonia-Manmohan government, terrorist activities were rampant, yet nobody dared to speak up. However, under PM Shri Narendra Modi's tenure, swift retaliation to attacks like Uri and Pulwama was executed within 10 days through surgical strikes and air strikes, penetrating Pakistan's territory and eliminating terrorists. Under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi, India's economy, which was ranked 11th globally, has surged to the top 5. With the prospect of PM Modi's third term, India is poised to ascend to the position of the world's third-largest economy.  Akhilesh Yadav who talks about the upliftment of the backward class visited Mukhtar Ansari's family and tried to please their vote bank. The Public should not have to worry as if anyone tries to do any electoral malpractice, the ECI will take stringent action against it.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister commended the efforts of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath in bolstering law and order in the state. Uttar Pradesh, once known for illegal pistol manufacturing, has now transformed into a hub for defense corridors. Similarly, the state, previously notorious for vehicle theft, has now become a center for vehicle manufacturing. Additionally, areas previously known for crimes like chain snatching are now flourishing with medical device manufacturing. A wave of BJP originating from Western Uttar Pradesh, passing through Mainpuri and Azamgarh, is poised to eclipse the Congress and Samajwadi Party. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, significant infrastructure development has taken place in various regions, including the widening of the Jaswantnagar-Etawah-Shikohabad and Auraiya-Etawah National Highways, the construction of an underpass at Yamuna Expressway, and the reconstruction of Mayan Rishi’s Ashram. Additionally, efforts have been made to enhance tourism, with over Rs 180 crore spent on different tourism initiatives. More than 24,000 houses have been built, and 5 lakh people got benefits under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Furthermore, 72 lakh people in Uttar Pradesh have received gas connections, including 32 lakh in Mainpuri, and 73 lakh farmers have benefited from the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. The establishment of a Medical Device Park in Greater Noida, a Mega Food Park in Bareilly, Trans Ganga City in Unnao, and a Plastic Park in Gorakhpur aims to boost industrialization in the state. The election has created two distinct camps: on one side, the INDI Alliance, embroiled in allegations of corruption totaling 12 lakh crores, and on the other side, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who has served as both Chief Minister and Prime Minister without facing a single corruption charge. On one hand, there's Rahul Gandhi, who went on summer vacation in Thailand, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi spends Diwali visiting army camps. While parties chant slogans of "Gareebi Hatao", PM Modi has effectively lifted millions out of poverty, providing them with homes, electricity, and ration.

Shri Shah emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's third term means providing free electricity to 13 crore people through the "Suryaghar Yojana," and achieving success in missions like Chandrayaan, Mangalyaan, and Adityayan, thus raising India's flag in the sky. In Etawah, under the efforts of Shri Ram Shankar Katheria, there has been a 550 KM road expansion, ₹33 crore allotted for the redevelopment of Etawah railway station, initiation of a passport office, construction of 18,000 houses, provision of LPG connections to 1 Lakh 60 thousand women, water connections to 2 lakh 40 thousand households, and toilet facilities for 2 Lakh 80 thousand houses. More than 2 Lakh 22 farmers have benefited under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. Additionally, there has been the construction of the Etawah line safari bypass, and 26,000 women have received pensions. Hospitals have been built, and 41,000 senior citizens have been provided with pensions.

Hon’ble Union Home Minister emphasized that even if the INDI Alliance secures a majority, there is no clarity on who will be the Prime Minister. Only PM Shri Narendra Modi has demonstrated the capability to effectively lead the country, as evidenced by his tenure of 10 years. Shri Amit Shah appealed to the voters to vote for Shri Rajveer Singh and Shri Ram Shankar Katheria as each vote on the ‘Lotus’ symbol will ensure the third term for Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The public must ensure to press the Lotus button in Etawah with such pressure that its impact is felt even in Italy.
