Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation and Senior BJP leader Shri Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Korba, Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. Shri Shah emphasized the developmental works under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership, while criticizing Congress for nurturing naxalism and terrorism solely for vote bank politics, affirming BJP's commitment to eradicating them in the third term. During the event, Chhattisgarh Deputy CM Shri Vijay Sharma, Korba Lok Sabha candidate Sushri Saroj Pandey, state Cabinet Minister Shri OP Choudhary among other leaders were present.
Shri Shah pointed out that the Congress party kept the issue of Ram Mandir unresolved for 70 years. However, when Chhattisgarh helped BJP win 9 out of 11 seats in the 2019 elections, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ensured that within 5 years, the Ram Janmabhoomi verdict was delivered. PM Shri Narendra Modi performed the Bhoomipujan and on 22nd January conducted the 'Pran Pratishtha' of Ram Lalla, placing him in his temple after 500 years. We all witnessed the ‘Surya Tilak’ on Ram Navmi. Congress even declined the invitation to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, prioritizing their vote bank over the occasion. For Congress, only the vote bank matters.
Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation highlighted that former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel continued to promote Naxalism. However, when the BJP government was formed under Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and Shri Vijay Sharma, within 4 months, 95 Naxalites were killed, 350 were arrested, and many surrendered. PM Shri Modi has eradicated Naxalism from Jharkhand, Odisha, Bihar, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh in 5 years. Chhattisgarh was an exception because Bhupesh Baghel was in power here. When Shri Narendra Modi will become Prime Minister for the third time, within 2 years, BJP will uproot Naxalism in Chhattisgarh. The armed forces displayed courage by killing 29 Naxalites, and yesterday, 10 more were killed. Despite this, Bhupesh Baghel claims it was a fake encounter. Even the Naxalites have acknowledged their losses, but Congress remains shameless. Congress has nurtured terrorism and Naxalism in this country for years to win elections. But now, there is no need to worry. With the BJP government in Chhattisgarh and PM Shri Modi's government poised to be formed at the Center for the third time, Naxalism will soon be eradicated.
Shri Shah declared that in the two phases of elections held so far, PM Shri Narendra Modi has surged ahead with a century of votes. In the third phase, BJP’s goal is to surpass 400 Paar, ensuring the victory of Sushri Saroj Pandey from Korba. With her win, every village in Korba will be personally attended to by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. With a decade of experience as Prime Minister and a vision for the next 25 years, PM Shri Narendra Modi has consistently prioritized the upliftment of backward, Dalit, and Adivasi communities since assuming office in 2014. Over the past decade, PM Shri Narendra Modi has facilitated various initiatives such as housing, water and LPG connections, ₹5 lakh health cover, subsidized food grains, toilet construction, and free COVID vaccines. Despite attempts by Rahul Gandhi to mislead the public about vaccines, his efforts went largely unnoticed. Electing Shri Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the third time will ensure the eradication of Naxalism and terrorism, prioritize the welfare of the poor, and strive to make Chhattisgarh the leading state in India.
Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation highlighted that the current Korba MP (Jyotsana Mahant) is known as the Laapata Saansad, as she was absent from parliamentary proceedings and rarely visited their constituency. However, upon electing the BJP, Sushri Saroj Pandey will ensure regular visits to Korba to address local issues. AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge's questioning of the connection between Kashmir and Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh appears misguided. He should understand that every child in Chhattisgarh is ready to sacrifice their life for Kashmir. For 70 years, the Congress party treated Article 370 as an 'illegitimate son'. On August 5, 2019, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi abolished Article 370, and the tricolour was unfurled in Kashmir. When the bill to abrogate Article 370 was presented in Parliament, Rahul Gandhi questioned it, claiming it would incite bloodshed in Kashmir, yet not a single stone pelting incident occurred.
Shri Shah addressed the misleading tactics employed by Congress, particularly their dissemination of a deepfake video alleging that PM Shri Narendra Modi would end reservation if re-elected. It's crucial for the people of Korba to understand that despite having a majority government, PM Shri Narendra Modi has not abolished reservation. Instead, he has utilized the public mandate to enact significant measures such as the abrogation of Article 370, construction of the Ram Mandir, implementation of the CAA, and abolition of Triple Talaq. Moreover, in Chhattisgarh, the BJP leveraged its majority to combat Naxalism in the state. As long as there is even a single BJP member in parliament, the SC/ST and OBC reservation will remain intact, and this assurance is backed by 'Modi Ki Guarantee'. The Bharatiya Janata Party has always worked for the welfare of tribals and even created a separate Ministry for them, which the Congress failed to address. Former PM Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee not only ensured a separate Ministry for Tribal Affairs but also constituted the Nation Commission for Schedule Tribe. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi commemorated Bhagwan Birsa Munda's birth anniversary by designating November 15 as 'Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas'. For 70 years, the Congress did not appoint a leader from the Adivasi community as the President of the Nation. However, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi appointed Smt Droupadi Murmu, who belongs to a tribal community in Odisha, as the President of the country. In 2013-14 the Congress allocated only a ₹28,000 budget for the Tribal Affairs, however Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi allocated ₹1 Lakh 28 Thousand crore to Tribal Affairs.
Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation highlighted the significant achievements under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi, including the establishment of over 700 Eklavya Schools, the allocation of ₹75,000 crore for the welfare of Adivasis through the District Mineral Fund, and the establishment of a research center for the prevention of Sickle cell anemia. Additionally, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai ensured fair procurement of paddy from farmers at ₹3100 per metric ton and compensated farmers for previous losses. The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme has also provided multiple benefits to farmers. Despite claims by AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge that the situation will worsen for the poor after PM Shri Narendra Modi, over 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty under his leadership. Furthermore, more than 80 crore people have received free ration, 12 crore toilets have been constructed nationwide, over 4 crore houses have been built, 14 crore people have received water connections through the Nal Se Jal scheme, and 7 crore people have been provided with a ₹5 lakh health cover. Shri Shah criticized Kharge for spreading falsehoods and urged the people of Korba to support Sushri Saroj Pandey, emphasizing that each vote for the Lotus symbol will ensure PM Shri Narendra Modi's third term.
