Hon’ble Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Shri Amit Shah addressed public meetings in Kheri, Hardoi & Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday and condemned Congress, SP and BSP for their anti-backward class stance. During the event, UP Cabinet Minister Shri JPS Rathore, Union Minister and Kheri candidate Shri Ajay Mishra Teni, Kannauj candidate Shri Subrat Pathak, District President Shri Kamlesh Mishra and other leaders were present on the stage.
Shri Shah stated that observing the enthusiasm of the people, it is clear that the people of Kheri has chosen Shri Ajay Mishra as their representative and has decided to make Hon'ble Shri Narendra Modi ji the Prime Minister for the third time. Voting in three phases in the country has been completed, in which Hon’ble PM Shri Modi ji has crossed 190 seats, and in the fourth phase, BJP is moving ahead strongly towards ‘400 Paar’. SP, BSP, and Congress have been defeated decisively. This Lok Sabha election is not just about making Shri Narendra Modi ji the Prime Minister for the third time, but it is also about making 3 crore 'Lakhpati Didi', providing housing to 4 crore poor, and strengthening people involved in animal husbandry by setting up dairies in 3 lakh villages. This time it is not about winning 65 or 73 seats, but about all 80 seats going into Hon’ble PM Shri Modi ji’s fold.
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation asserted that the Congress, SP, and BSP are engaged in a smear campaign against the Bharatiya Janata Party and Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Modi ji. Congress leaders are falsely accusing the BJP government of abolishing reservations, whereas it's the Congress party that has historically undermined reservation benefits for backward classes. The Congress government in Karnataka revoked reservation benefits from backward classes and allocated 5 percent reservation to a special class. Likewise, in Andhra Pradesh, reservation was allocated to Muslims. Upon the Bharatiya Janata Party assuming power, it vows to discontinue reservation for any special class, which contradicts the Constitution and instead prioritize reservation for backward classes. Rahul Baba's promise to eradicate poverty in one stroke contrasts with the Congress' historical track record. His grandmother imposed an emergency in the country with a single stroke, while his father, Rajiv Gandhi, proposed triple talaq in one swift move. The Congress party, through its actions like the imposition of emergency and proposing policies like triple talaq, has often disregarded the interests of backward societies, exemplified by its actions of snatching reservation benefits from them. Consequently, the Congress party and its allies are anti-backward class entities.
Shri Shah emphasized that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji introduced the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) to offer citizenship to persecuted minorities like Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, and Jains who have sought refuge in India from Pakistan. In Kheri, many individuals lack citizenship. However, Rahul and Akhilesh Yadav claim they will repeal the CAA. They should understand that the CAA cannot be revoked. Each individual who has migrated from Pakistan and Bangladesh will be granted citizenship, ensuring they have equal rights as others. Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav's parties delayed on the Ram Mandir issue for 70 years. But, within 5 years of Shri Narendra Modi ji's second term, the decision was made, Bhoomi Pujan was performed, and the grand Ram Mandir is built today. Despite invitations, the INDI alliance prioritized vote bank politics over attending the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony. During Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh's tenure, terrorist attacks plagued the nation daily, with little action taken. In contrast, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji swiftly responded to Uri and Pulwama with surgical and air strikes, effectively combating terrorism.
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation remarked that Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi lack the capability to safeguard the nation or ensure the welfare of its people. Over the past decade, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has allocated pucca houses, electricity connections, toilets, gas cylinders, a ₹5 lakh health cover to more than 55 crore people, and provided 5 kg of free food grains per person per month to 80 crore people.
Shri Shah mentioned that even hypothetically considering the INDI alliance, there's a notable absence of suitable leaders for the Prime Ministerial role. None of these leaders are perceived as viable candidates to lead the nation as Prime Minister. He asked the people of Uttar Pradesh to think about whether leaders like Sharad Pawar, Mamata Banerjee, MK Stalin, Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi are truly capable of becoming Prime Minister. The country is not a ‘ration shop’ it requires strong leadership and the only one who can lead the country is Shri Narendra Modi ji. The INDI Alliance lacks in ‘Neeyat, Neeti and Neta’, and only runs family politics. Recently, SP leader Ram Gopal Yadav termed the Ram Mandir as ‘Bekaar’. If the INDI Alliance gets any chance they will put a ‘Babri Lock’ on Ram Mandir. During the SP's tenure, Uttar Pradesh witnessed rampant mafia activities, selective electricity distribution on Ramzan and not on Holi and Diwali, and the dominance of land mafias. However, under the BJP government led by Shri Yogi Adityanath, there have been improvements in law and order, with a shift from the state's previous reputation for mass migrations, now even mafias are reportedly migrating away from Uttar Pradesh.
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation highlighted the significance of sugarcane cultivation in the Terai region, which is known as the sugar bowl due to its abundance in sugarcane production. With 9 sugar mills and 2 cooperatives in the region, sugarcane farming plays a crucial role in the local economy. Since the formation of the BJP government at both the Center and the State, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has prioritized timely payments to sugarcane farmers. Under the BJP government's initiatives, 20 sugar mills have been restarted, and 5 new sugar mills have been established, leading to an increase in the area under sugarcane cultivation by 9 lakh crore hectares. Additionally, ethanol production has seen a significant rise from 42 crore liters in 2016-17 to 156 crore liters currently. Through the establishment of 12 modern refineries and the blending of 20% ethanol into petrol and diesel, India's Biofuel Alliance is set to drive development across the entire state.
Shri Shah highlighted significant developments in Lakhimpur Kheri, including the construction of 900 kilometers of roads and various other infrastructure projects such as highway widening. The inauguration of a train route from Mailani to Dudhwa National Park, the construction of an airstrip, and the distribution of houses to 1 lakh 63 thousand underprivileged individuals. Additionally, 5 lakh women received gas cylinders, 7 lakh 80 thousand toilets were built, and 6 lakh farmers benefited under the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation remarked that before the elections, Congress organized the Bharat Jodo Yatra, but after the elections, they may need to organize a Doondho Yatra due to their involvement in various scams amounting to approximately Rs 12 lakh crore. Recent incidents include the recovery of Rs 30 crore from the house of a Jharkhand leader of the INDI Alliance, ₹350 crore from the house of a Congress MP, and Rs 50 crore from the house of a minister of Mamata Banerjee. Opposition parties often engage in corruption and then criticize the government when agencies like the ED and CBI take action. The Modi government is committed to taking action against corrupt individuals, regardless of their political affiliation.
Shri Shah highlighted the clean record of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, who, despite being in leadership positions for 23 years, has not faced any allegations of corruption. In contrast, he contrasted Rahul Gandhi's behavior, who allegedly flees abroad when faced with adversity, with Shri Narendra Modi ji's dedication. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji has not taken a single leave in 23 years and even celebrates Diwali with soldiers, reflecting his commitment to serving the nation.
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation highlighted Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji's contributions, including the Construction of the grand Ram Mandir and the construction of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor. Additionally, efforts are underway to make the Somnath temple golden and revive various faith centers. However, Akhilesh Yadav praised Mohammad Ali Jinnah during a statue unveiling event in Hardoi in 2021, stating that the public would not accept such admiration for Jinnah for the sake of vote bank politics.
Shri Shah highlighted the internal conflicts within the SP, noting disruptions in their meetings as a sign of unrest within the party. He criticized Rahul Gandhi's political strategies, suggesting that leaving India altogether might be an option for him. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji started initiatives for the welfare of the poor, empowerment of youth, support for farmers, and promotion of women's rights. He accused Rahul Gandhi of furthering Pakistan's agenda and receiving support from Pakistan while alleging that members of the INDI Alliance provide clean chits to terrorists. Kannauj is known for perfume making. During G-20, Hon’ble PM Modi ji gifted Kannauj perfumes to global leaders. The ‘Chandan Perfume’ used in Ram Mandir was made in Kannauj. The public has voted for Mulayam Singh Yadav and his family. However, they did not visit the region even after winning and losing. During the COVID pandemic, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji ensured free vaccination for every citizen and made the country free from corona. Akhilesh Yadav tried to mislead the public regarding vaccination and termed it as ‘Modi Teeka’. The public did not pay attention to him, and one fine day he along with Dimple Yadav got vaccinated.
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation mentioned that the BJP has worked to change the laws made during the British regime, made a new Parliament building and also abrogated Article 370. AICC President Mallikarjjun Kharge questions the connection of Kashmir with Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. He should understand that every child in Kannauj is ready to sacrifice their life for Kashmir. On August 5, 2019, Respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji abolished Article 370 and exempted terrorism from the country. During Sonia-Manmohan's UPA tenure, there were purportedly frequent bomb attacks across the nation, with minimal action taken by Manmohan Singh. However, under Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji's leadership, the response to attacks like those in Uri and Pulwama was swift and decisive. Within 10 days, surgical and air strikes were conducted against Pakistan, demonstrating a proactive approach to national security.
Shri Shah criticized the Samajwadi Party led by Akhilesh Yadav for promoting casteism through their family-centric approach to politics. He highlighted that Akhilesh Yadav himself is contesting from Kannauj, while his wife, Dimple Yadav, is contesting from Mainpuri. Additionally, his nephew Akshay Yadav is contesting from Firozabad, Aditya Yadav from Badaun, and several other family members are contesting from various constituencies, with none of them being over 25 years old. This dynastic trend within the party raises concerns about its commitment to democratic principles and inclusive governance. The leaders associated with the Samajwadi Party (SP) have been accused of chanting 'Pakistan Zindabad' to appease their vote bank in the state assembly, advocating for the release of the accused involved in the bomb blast at Sankat Mochan Mandir, halting the Chaurasi Kosi Parikrama, and celebrating in Saifai, even during times of riots in the state. Akhilesh Yadav chose not to pay tribute to a leader like Kalyan Singh, who lived just 500 meters away from his house but instead traveled 500 kilometers to pay tribute to Mukhtar Ansari. The Congress 'Shehzade' left Amethi after losing and relocated to Wayanad, but now he is reportedly prepared to contest from Rae Bareli. This apparent shift has prompted remarks suggesting that if he seeks to benefit Congress, he might as well move to Italy.
