Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation and Senior BJP leader Shri Amit Shah addressed a public meeting in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh on Friday. Shri Amit Shah criticized the Congress and Samajwadi Party for disrupting the law & order, development and underscored Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's welfare schemes. During the event, Amethi Lok Sabha Candidate Smt Smriti Irani, BJP MLA Shri Manoj Pandey and other leaders were present.
Hon’ble Union Home Minister paid his respects to Kalika Ji Mandir and Ahorawa Bhawani Mandir. He mentioned that after a 70-year wait, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji performed the "Pran Pratishtha" of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Shri Amit Shah criticized Congress, saying they claim the Pran Pratishtha was not done properly. If the INDI Alliance comes to power, they will lock the Ram Mandir and reinstate the Babri Masjid.
Shri Shah accused Congress and the INDI Alliance of being a family-centric coalition, only thinking about their families. Lalu Yadav wants to make his son the Chief Minister, Mamta Banerjee wants to make her nephew the Chief Minister, and Sonia Gandhi wants to make her son the Prime Minister. Sonia Gandhi and congress leaders believe that Rae Bareli and Amethi are their family seats, Shri Shah questioned who had given them these seats in a Will? He emphasized that these seats do not belong to any family but to the poor youth of Raebareli and Amethi. The people of Rae Bareli and Amethi will decide who goes to Parliament, as this is a democracy, and no seat belongs to any family. He stated that only those who support people in times of crisis and work for development get elected to Parliament.
Hon’ble Union Home Minister highlighted that the entire nation's media is predicting that Smt. Smriti Irani will win in Amethi and Shri Dinesh Pratap will win in Rae Bareli, and both seats will go to Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji's favor. Shri Shah highlighted that Kashmir is an integral part of India, a matter that the Congress party had delayed for years by keeping Article 370 in place. On August 5, 2019, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji abolished Article 370. He pointed out that Congress has stated they will reinstate Article 370. Congress has stated they will reinstate Article 370. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has eradicated terrorism from the country, carrying out surgical strikes and air strikes to eliminate terrorists by entering Pakistan's territory.
Shri Shah criticized Congress leaders, mentioning Farooq Abdullah and Manishankar Aiyar, who say not to talk about PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir) because Pakistan has an atomic bomb. Congress's attempts to intimidate are futile. India, with its population of 130 crore people, stands strong under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. If Rahul Gandhi chooses to be fearful, that's his decision. However, it's unequivocal that Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) has been, is, and will always remain an integral part of India, and the nation remains steadfast in its commitment to reclaiming PoK.
Hon’ble Union Home Minister highlighted the stark contrast between Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, who has served as both Prime Minister and Chief Minister for a combined total of 23 years without a single corruption allegation, and the Congress-led UPA government, which has been mired in corruption scandals amounting to ₹12 lakh crore. Notably, cash worth ₹350 crore was seized from the residence of an INDI alliance leader. The government led by Hon’ble Shri Narendra Modi ji is unwavering in its commitment to holding all corrupt individuals accountable and ensuring they are prosecuted and imprisoned.
Shri Shah highlighted Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Modi ji's extensive efforts towards the development of Uttar Pradesh. These include the construction of 14 expressways, 12,000 kilometers of highways, the establishment of the Shri Ram Mandir, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, advancements in metro and rail infrastructure, the establishment of medical colleges, and a significant 60% contribution to mobile manufacturing. Additionally, initiatives such as the Film City, Toy Park, Handicraft Park, Logistic Hub, Mega Food Park, Trans-Ganga City, and Gorakhpur Plastic Park have been instrumental in fostering economic growth and employment opportunities in the state. Notably, even after 70 years of Congress rule, Amethi lacked a collector office until the Shri Yogi Adityanath government laid its foundation in 2018. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji at the center and Shri Yogi Adityanath in the state have actively worked towards selectively cleansing Uttar Pradesh of criminal elements. Despite the deaths of at least 600 people in various accidents here, Sonia Gandhi did not visit to offer condolences. Leader should be like Smt Smriti Irani who comes from Mumbai and has made her house in Amethi to serve the people. Shri Dinesh Pratap singh stays between the people the whole time. It is a guarantee that if he is elected, he will serve the people 24 hours a day.
Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation highlighted that in the past decade, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji's government has allocated ₹18 lakh 55 thousand crore for the development of Uttar Pradesh. In contrast, during the tenure of the Sonia-Mahmohan led UPA government, only ₹4 lakh crore was allocated. The significance of both Amethi and Raebareli seats cannot be overstated, and the BJP's victory in these constituencies will significantly contribute to the NDA's aim of surpassing the '400 Paar' mark. Shri Shah appealed for support for BJP candidates, emphasizing that their victories would put an end to dynastic politics in the region and significantly strengthen Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji's leadership.
