Hon'ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda met President of United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Ms Samia Suluhu Hassan under ‘Know BJP’ Campaign

 

Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda met President of United Republic of Tanzania, Her Excellency Ms Samia Suluhu Hassan, who is also the President of ruling party of Tanzania Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) on 11th October 2023 at New Delhi.

 

Shri Nadda apprised the President about BJP’s vision and organisational structure. He also discussed the party's social inclusion initiatives for upliftment of poor, women and marginalised sections of the society.  He also explained the role of information technology used by the party to connect with the wider population. Both the leaders have resolved to continue such party to party dialogue in the future too.

 

It is to be noted that a senior delegation from CCM visited India in the month of January on invitation of BJP under the ‘KNOW BJP’ initiative. H. E Samia Suluhu Hassan has served as president of Tanzania since 2021. She is the first woman to serve as president of the country. H E Samia Suluhu Hassan was accompanied by several leaders of CCM. Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale, In-Charge, Foreign Affairs Dept, BJP was also present in the meeting.
