BJYM to Conduct National Youth Parliament and Tamil Nadu State Assembly 2026 at Chennai

New Delhi, March 17, 2023: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) is set to conduct the National Youth Parliament and Tamil Nadu State Assembly 2026 program at SRM University in Chennai on the 19th of March 2023. The programme will see participation from more than 300 young karyakartas of BJYM representing all States and Union territories of India.

The National Youth Parliament and Tamil Nadu State Assembly 2026 program is an initiative of the BJYM and provides a platform for young minds to express their opinions, thoughts and ideas about the country's development and progress. BJYM understands that youth are not just beneficiaries but also partners in the development of our country and hence this programme is a further step in upskilling the young karyakartas in structured articulation, undertaking research and understanding parliamentary procedures.

The event will be inaugurated by the National President of BJP, Shri. JP Nadda. He will address the participants and highlight the importance of youth participation in politics. The event will also see the presence of Shri. Tejasvi Surya, the National President of BJYM, who will interact with the participants and share with them his experience in leadership and politics. BJP National General Secretary, Shri Tarun Chugh and BJP Tamil Nadu President, Shri Annamalai will also be attending the programme and shall address the gathering. The event will also witness participations from senior party leaders as members of the jury for guidance and conduct.

The National Youth Parliament and Tamil Nadu State Assembly 2026 program will include a series of debates, discussions, and presentations on various topics of national importance, such as education, healthcare, employment, environmental conservation etc. The participants will actively engage in these sessions, expressing their opinions and ideas on how to address these issues.

Speaking about the program, Shri Tejasvi Surya, the National President of BJYM said, "The National Youth Parliament and State Assembly program is an excellent opportunity for young Karyakartas from all over India to come together and discuss issues that are of great importance to our nation. This program will further the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of empowering and engaging the youth in the political process, and we believe that it will go a long way towards nurturing the next generation of leaders in India."

Overall, the National Youth Parliament and State Assembly program promises to be an enriching and engaging experience for the participants, and the BJYM looks forward to organizing similar programs in the future to encourage more young minds to participate in the democratic process.
