Hon’ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda visited Puja pandals in Kolkata, West Bengal and offered prayers on the occasion of Maha Saptami during the Maa Durga Puja festivities

 

On the day of Maha Saptami, I pray to Maa Durga for the victory of good over evil and for growth, development and prosperity of not just the people of West Bengal but for the entire country.

Those who have lost wisdom and sanity, I pray to Goddess Maa Durga to give them wisdom, compassion and sanity so that they can work with honesty and dedication for the welfare and progress of the masses, particularly poor and deprived sections of our society.

Let us move forward in West Bengal with the basic mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas”. I pray before Maa Durga to give us strength and power so that we can fight the demon power which is prevailing in West Bengal.

I have prayed to Maa Durga for a prosperous and happy West Bengal and its people. I have also sought her blessings to empower the people of West Bengal so that they can give a new direction to the world and bring peace and prosperity to the state and the world.

West Bengal is known across India and the World for its prayers and festivities during the Durga Puja celebrations. Even UNESCO has included it in the "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity" list.

West Bengal has a special place in our rich cultural heritage. So many great personalities have come from the great land of West Bengal who have not only shown their way to our country but have contributed exceptionally across the globe. We all have to come together to rebuild our West Bengal and regain its lost glory and importance.

Shri Nadda visited Puja pandals at Howrah Maidan (Howrah), Shobhabazar, Rajabari and New Market areas in Kolkata, West Bengal today and offered prayers. He prayed for the victory of good over evil and for growth, development and prosperity of not just the people of West Bengal but for the entire country. At the Puja pandals in Sobha Bazar and Rajabadi Shri Nadda garlanded the statue of Swami Vivekananda. All senior BJP leaders of the state were present which includes the West Bengal BJP president Shri Sukanto Mazumdar, Leader of Opposition Shri Suvendu Adhikari, BJP West Bengal in-charge Shri Mangal Pandey, Purulia MP Shri Jyotirmay Singh Mahto, the BJP West Bengal co -incharge Smt Asha Lakda, former West Bengal BJP president Shri Rahul Sinha, BJP National spokesperson Bharti Ghosh, West Bengal BJP general secretary Shri Shri Amitabh Chakravarti and a large number of devotees. Prior to this a large number of West Bengal BJP leaders and karyakartas accorded a huge welcome to the BJP President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji in Kolkata.

 

Referring to the atrocities being committed on the people of the state and the hampering of the development works and projects, the BJP National President said those who have lost wisdom and sanity, I pray to Goddess Maa Durga to give them wisdom, compassion and sanity so that they can work with honesty and dedication for the welfare and progress of the masses, particularly poor and deprived sections of our society. The Bharatiya Janata Party National President said it was a matter of great blessing and honour for him to have visited West Bengal during the Durga Puja festivities and offer prayers on the Maha Saptami day. West Bengal is the land of great culture and history , it is the great holy land which has given numerous great personalities. West Bengal is known across India and the World for its prayers and festivities during the Durga Puja celebrations. Even UNESCO has included it in the "Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity" list. Crores of people across the country worship Maa Durga.
