Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson and Lok Sabha MP Dr. Sambit Patra addressed a press conference at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi, on Thursday. Dr. Patra criticized Rahul Gandhi for making baseless allegations against Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the people of India during his press conference.  He stated that Rahul Gandhi's primary objective seems to be tarnishing India's reputation and they are continuously attacking Indian market. Gandhi family and Rahul Gandhi cannot tolerate the fact that India’s economy is rapidly rising to become the third-largest in the world.

 

Dr. Patra stated that today, Rahul Gandhi did a PC and again presented the same behavior and put his topic as he used to do; it is not new. He has a few names and techniques that he uses to make allegations against Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the BJP. He put his claim in a sensationalized manner, like it is something very new. Before 2019, Rahul Gandhi made a similar PC on the Rafale deal and claimed that it had shaken the world. He even termed “Chowkidar Chor Hai.” Similarly, in the Covid-19 era, he did a PC regarding vaccines. But later, he apologized in the Supreme Court. This has become Rahul Gandhi's technique to attack India and the structures that safeguard it.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Patra stated that today an issue unraveled, grabbing significant media attention. A case is ongoing in the U.S. regarding a company. The party believes that the company will issue its own statement on the matter, and the law will take its own course. The documents have been presented in the media and are accessible in the public domain, allowing the public to see the details for themselves. The issue revolves around an agreement concerning electricity sales and purchases involving State Distribution Companies (SDCs), two companies—one from the US and one from India—and four Indian states. The timeline of the transactions spans from July 2021 to February 2022. The four states involved, as per the documentation, are Chhattisgarh during Bhupesh Baghel’s Congress government, Andhra Pradesh, alleged to have the most transactions, during Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSRCP government, Tamil Nadu during MK Stalin’s DMK government and Odisha during the BJD government. Dr. Patra emphasized that none of these states were governed by the BJP or a BJP-backed Chief Minister then, as evidenced by the records.

 

Dr. Patra stated that Rahul Gandhi in his press conference said that he had no objection if any former CM and leaders were being questioned. Then the BJP has no issue with questioning the CM and major leaders of the four states. Rahul Gandhi also showcased a board on which it was written, “Bijlee Ka Bill Aapka, Aur Munafa Unka.” So, in Tamil Nadu, the bill was not paid by the BJP but by the DMK. Similarly, in Chhattisgarh, the bill from July 2021 to February 2022 was not generated by the Modi government but by Bhupesh Baghel’s government. So how would the money go into Modi Ji’s pocket? The money goes to the CM and SDC, according to Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi should answer, as he says “Munafa Unka,” but in all four states, there is no BJP government. Rahul Gandhi must clarify this.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Patra mentioned that Rahul Gandhi stated that the credibility of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has been finished as he is backing Adani, which damages Modi Ji's credibility on a global level. However, Rahul Gandhi should note that this is not the first time he has attempted to undermine Modi Ji's credibility. Since 2002, Rahul Gandhi along with his mother and Congress party, has tried to tarnish the image of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. From calling him “Maut Ka Saudagar”, “Tum Neech Ho,” and “Pakistan Mein Jaakar Modi Ko Samapt Karna Hai” to “Chowkidar Chor Hai,” more than a hundred derogatory remarks have been used to defame the Prime Minister. Meanwhile, at the time Rahul Gandhi is giving his press conference, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji is receiving the highest civilian awards from foreign countries, which reflects his global credibility. Neither "Maut Ka Saudagar" nor "Chowkidar Chor Hai" could dent the image of Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, as the nation knows who truly holds credibility and who does not.

 

Dr. Patra responded to Rahul Gandhi's mention of a “structure,” stating that this structure involves international figures like Elhan Omar and George Soros who are part of Rahul Gandhi's global network. This international structure of Rahul Gandhi aims to harm India's market and continues to do so. Gandhi family and Rahul Gandhi cannot tolerate the fact that India’s economy is rapidly rising to become the third-largest in the world. India is currently in fourth place and is soon expected to reach third. Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party cannot bear this progress, which is why they are continuously attacking India's market.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Patra stated that since early morning, the Congress party has been actively trying to destabilize India’s market. Through social media tweets and international messaging, efforts have been made to bring down India's stock market, impacting around 2.5 crore middle and lower-middle-class investors. Rahul Gandhi has previously attempted to attack the stock market to harm the economy. Today, Rahul Gandhi stated in his press conference that Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji is behind Adani.

 

Bharatiya Janata Party asked questions to Rahul Gandhi and expected answers from him-

 

·      if Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji is behind Adani, why did Adani invest ₹25,000 crores in Chhattisgarh during Bhupesh Baghel's Congress government?

 

·      When Ashok Gehlot's Congress government was in power in Rajasthan, Adani invested ₹65,000 crores in the state. What was the reason for that?

 

·      In Karnataka, when Siddaramaiah's Congress government was in power, Adani's company pledged to invest ₹1 lakh crores in the state. There is an investment of ₹35,000 crores in Bengal, where the Congress has an alliance. What will Rahul Gandhi say on this investment?

 

·      In Andhra Pradesh, ₹60,000 crores were invested, and in Tamil Nadu, ₹4,500 crores were invested. What will Rahul Gandhi say about this investment?

 

·      On October 19, 2024, the Adani Foundation donated ₹100 crore to Telangana CM Revanth Reddy’s foundation for skill development. The question raised was why the Congress government accepted a donation from a corrupt individual? He emphasizing that it was a donation, not an investment.

 

·      On January 23, 2024, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy led the World Economic Forum and signed an MOU worth ₹12,400 crores with Adani Group companies. Rahul Gandhi should clarify who will answer all these matters?

 

·      Are Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy different? Are Rahul Gandhi and Bhupesh Baghel different? Are Rahul Gandhi and Ashok Gehlot different? Rahul Gandhi will have to come forward and answer these questions to the nation.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Patra highlighted that, whether it's the 2G case, CWG scandal, or coal scam, the BJP consistently took legal action, with thorough investigations and cases being proven. Shri Arun Jaitley, a prominent leader and established lawyer, fought these cases in court.

 

Bharatiya Janata Party asked questions to Rahul Gandhi and expected answers from him-

·      Why is Rahul Gandhi not filing a case in this matter?

 

·      Why does Rahul Gandhi not go to court and why is he confined to a press conference only? Whereas the whole country has seen that a petition was filed in the Supreme Court at night.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Patra stated that Rahul Gandhi, while serving as an MP, stated that the Congress party is doing the judiciary's work in India. As per Rahul Gandhi, the media is failing to fulfill its duties, which the Congress party is covering. 'Bail Pe Bahar' mother-son duo is effectively claiming that they are doing the judiciary's work in this country. It should be considered contempt of court, and the judiciary should take Suo Motu cognizance of the situation. Rahul Gandhi's sole objective is to defame India and make unwarranted allegations against the country's prestigious institutions that work for its security and strength.

 

Dr. Patra pointed out that when a journalist asked Rahul Gandhi three questions, the journalist was labeled as a BJP supporter, and the questions were labeled as BJP's questions. Rahul Gandhi became angry because he had no answers. Rahul Gandhi claimed that "India has been hijacked," but the correct tense should have been past tense: "India was hijacked, and the Nakli Gandhi family was the hijacker." India has now been freed from hijacking, and since 2014, its economic growth has soared to 35,000 feet. India is on the verge of becoming the third-largest economic power, so Rahul Gandhi must understand that India is not hijacked anymore.

 

BJP National Spokesperson Dr. Patra stated that the Congress party repeatedly says they will form a JPC, but when the government is not forming, they are content with only demanding a JPC. When a JPC is formed, Congress members resort to violence, breaking bottles and hands. This is part of Congress's drama before the Lok Sabha session. Rahul Gandhi will start the session with drama so that India's economy won't function, the Parliament won't work, and chaos will prevail. This is the Congress party's strategy, and Rahul Gandhi should stop being “Apne Muh Miyan Mitthu.”
