BJP's OBC Morcha to start "Gaon Gaon Chalo, Ghar Ghar Chalo" campaign from April 6

The campaign to be launched by the Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji from Manesar in Haryana. The target is to reach 1 lakh villages across the country

New Delhi, March 28, 2023: The National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party oBC Morcha Dr K Laxman today addressed a press conference at the party headquarters in Delhi where he announced that the OBC Morcha will start "Gaon Gaon Chalo, Ghar Ghar Chalo" campaign where the Morcha workers will visit over 1 lakh villages across the country and contact over 1 crore households.

Those present at the press conference included BJP OBC Morcha national treasurer Gajender Yadav and its national media head Ajay Sehrawat. The team of the "Gaon Gaon Chalo, Ghar Ghar Chalo" campaign also comprises Sanjay Gujjar, Rahul Nagar, Pankaj Chaudhary, Surendra Baldia among others.

Dr K Laxman said the "Gaon Gaon Chalo, Ghar Ghar Chalo" campaign will commence on April 6 which will started by the Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji from Manesar in Haryana. This campaign will end on April 14.

During the campaign, the office bearers and workers of the BJP OBC Morcha will do night stay for 9 days and tell the people the work done by the Narendra Modi Government for the upliftment and empowerment of the OBC community in the past 9 years.

Dr Laxman said in the past 9 years the Narendra Modi Government has done numerous works for the development, growth and empowerment of the OBC community which include giving Constitutional status to the toothless OBC Commission, for the first time accommodating 27 OBC MPs in the Union Cabinet, giving 27 per cent reservation to the children of the OBC community in Navodaya and Kendriya Vidhyalaya and under the PM Matasya Sampada Yojana giving aid and support to fishermen community across the country for which the Narendra Modi Government has already allocated Rs 20,050 crores in the Budget, giving 27 per cent reservation in NEET exams to the students of the OBC community, creating separate venture capital fund for the OBC community, the Vishwakarma Vikas Yojna among other schemes, programmes and policies.

Dr K Laxman further said the Congress party has always cheated and betrayed the OBC community by not giving their rights and privileges. The amount of the work which the Narendra Modi Government has done for the development, growth, progress and empowerment of the OBC community, no previous governments has done that much of work in the past 60 years.

Dr Laxman also said on numerous occasions the Congress party has insulted, demeaned and neglected the OBC community across the country. By repeatedly depriving the OBC community of their rights and privileges the Congress party has again and again insulted the OBC community. The Congress leader Rahul Gandhi even went a step forward when he not only insulted our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji but insulted and demeaned the entire OBC community. This shows the hatred and contempt that Rahul Gandhi has in his heart and mind for the OBC community.

Dr Laxman said the BJP OBC Morcha will take this insult and neglect of the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi to the masses and expose them. This will be a part of the "Gaon Gaon Chalo, Ghar Ghar Chalo" campaign of the BJP OBC Morcha. The OBC Morcha leaders and workers will tell people how Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party workers insult the entire OBC community and not even apologise for it, which is highly condemnable and atrocious, Dr Laxman added.
