Press Release

Salient points of speech of Hon'ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda while addressing key voters and social influence persons in Bidar, Karnataka

In order to further increase the speed of growth and development of Karnataka, it is imperative that the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership of our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is formed in the state. It is in the interest of Karnataka. A full majority government of the Bharatiya Janata Party will be formed in Karnataka.

Shah Amad Quadri Sahab of Bidar was recently honoured with the Padma Shri Samman. Quadri Sahab himself said that he always thought that he would be honoured during the Congress party government, but the fact is that he got the Padma Shri Samman from the Narendra Modi Government. This proves that today the Padma Awards are given based on merit and talent, and not on any kind of "sifarish" (approach or recommendation). Today even those who come barefoot to Rashtrapati Bhawan are awarded the prestigious Padma Awards. This is the real change in governance which our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has brought in the country.

For us "Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas" is not merely a slogan, it is the soul of our party and our country, whereas the Congress party always took the growth and development of our society in reverse gear. Development means BJP.

If by default the Congress party government comes to power in Karnataka, all the funds given by the Narendra Modi Government for the development and progress of Karnataka will by usurped in corruption and the people of the state will be deprived of all the social welfare schemes being announced and implemented by our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

If the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership and guidance of our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji continues in Karnataka then all the money meant for social and economic development of the state will be spent without any corruption or commission. If our double engine government fails to remain in the state, then the ATM of corruption of the Congress party government will be opened in the state. All the funds meant for the growth and development of Karnataka will be transferred to one family sitting in Delhi.

Whenever the Congress party government is formed in Karnataka or the Congress party and JD-S party's combined government is formed in the state, then the people of Karnataka are deprived of all the benefits of schemes of the Central Government.

The Bharatiya Janata Party government increased the reservation quota of the Vokkaliga and Lingayat communities by two per cent each. But the Congress party leader D K Shivakumar says that if his party's government is formed in the state, they will take back this reservation given to Vokkaliga and Lingayat communities in the state. I ask the people of Karnataka, will you let this happen? Will you ever allow this to happen? The Congress party leaders should openly say what all reservations given to various communities they will withdraw.

A former Congress party MP and their media in-charge openly says that his party president himself takes 10-12 per cent commission. The Congress party openly supported those who are responsible for violence in Hubli and the party stood by them. The Congress party leader D K Shivakumar gave his statements in favour of those who were responsible for the cooker bomb blasts.

The Congress party means corruption, commission and crime. During the Congress party government in Karnataka the Rs 400 crore Malaprabha scam took place. Similarly, the Amaravathi land scam and the teachers and police recruitment scam also took place during the Congress party government. Which clearly means that the Congress party means corruption.

Since Independence the Congress party has divided our country and created rifts in our society, sometimes in the name of caste, sometimes in the name of religion, sometimes in the name of region and communities. The Congress party is so deeply involved in these dirty tactics of dividing our country and society that the party is now it divided and it has nothing left to salvage.

The Siddaramaiah government of the Congress party removed cases from over 1700 people belonging to radical group PFI, whereas the Bharatiya Janata Party government banned PFI immediately after coming to power. The Congress party government and its leaders always promotes crime and divides our society.

The Bharatiya Janata Party government is developing an industrial corridor in Tumkur, while Asia's biggest helicopter manufacturing industry is also coming up in Tumkur. Aircrafts are being manufactured in Karnataka. The Vande Bharata train is now operating between Mysore and Chennai. A new Nadaprabhu Kempegowda airport terminal has been constructed. New IIT is also coming up. This is the agenda of development and growth which the BJP government is implementing in the state under the leadership and guidance of our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

Today Karnataka is far ahead from other states in various parameters of growth and development like FDI, innovation index, startup ecosystem and ease of doing business. Under the Yata Bandu Abhiyan over 11 lakh children of Karnataka will be benefited.

The inner tussle in the Congress party is continuing unabated. The people of Karnataka should realise and understand that if the Congress party government is formed in the state this inner party tussle and fighting is only going to increase which will badly impact the people of the state as all the development and social welfare activities will be severely hit. The people of Karnataka never want such a government to rule them which creates major hindrances in the growth, development, progress and prosperity of the state.
