Salient points of speech of Hon’ble BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda while interacting intellectuals in Hubli, Karnataka

Hon’ble National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda interacted with intellectuals at BVB Engineering College Auditorium in Hubli (Karnataka) on Tuesday and praised the double engine government of Karnataka under the leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and discussed in detail on welfare, development policy and strong will to make Karnataka the number one state of the country.

Main points of the speech of Honorable National President:

India has taken a quantum leap under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. There is a fundamental difference between the thinking of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress. BJP believes in 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' (all-inclusive development) while Congress does the politics of 'Divide and Rule'.

In 70 years, the Congress only did division, division and division in the society. Congress divided the society on the basis of language, caste, religion and region, but the truth is that while dividing, the Congress itself got divided.

The Congress party means dynasty politics, whereas the Bharatiya Janata Party means nationalism and development oriented politics.

Congress was uprooted 60 years ago in Tamil Nadu and till today Congress could not come back in power. Congress used to rule in Kerala but today Congress becomes weaker and weaker. Congress was once in government in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, today it is missing from both the places. The infighting of the Congress in Karnataka is not ending.

Bharatiya Janata Party believes in 'Unity in Diversity'. The BJP respects regional aspirations and, at the same time, works on national aspirations and needs. For us 'Unity in Diversity' is not a slogan but our spirit.

PM Modi urged children to learn at least 10 sentences of every Indian language. Now, it's been decided that the exam of the Central Armed Police Forces is being conducted in 13 languages. Today, a child from a poor family who studied from govt school can take Medical education and become a doctor.

After a gap of four decades India got its new National Education Policy. This National Education Policy will take our country from 'India' to 'Bharat'. Here India means a section of privileged people whereas Bharat represents the common man of our country who will be connected to the new avenues of education and development through our National Education Policy.

In the UPA era, no PM dared to visit Israel because of their vote bank politics. The PM visited Nepal, and it was a visit by an Indian PM after 17 years. After 28 years, the PM of India visited Sri Lanka.

Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is highly committed for all round development and growth of Karnataka. He is working tirelessly for upliftment and empowerment of all sections of our society. He has only slogans -- development, development and development.

Under the dynamic leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji the way the world looks towards India has completely changed. Shri Modi ji has strengthened ties with our neighbours and also opened new avenues in the fields of international relations. Today India’s role is acknowledged globally when it comes to carrying out humanitarian missions helping other countries in times of need and crisis. But on the other hand, India also gives its adversaries a tough message when it comes to the matter of India’s sovereignty.

Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji greatly improved India’s relations with the nations. Shri Modi ji visited nations which no Prime Minister had visited for decades, though these nations were our friends, no serious efforts were made to strengthen relations.

Hon’ble PM undertook over 100 overseas journeys and visited over 60 nations. He gave new dimensions and strengthened India’s relationships particularly with nations like the US, Japan, France and UAE. He enhanced bilateral relations by addressing global issues. He cemented traditional ties and developed new partnerships to address global issues.

Another big change that has happened in the field of international relations vis a vis India is the de-hyphenation of India and Pakistan. Earlier India and Pakistan were always hyphenated in the international scene. But today under the dynamic leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji this de-hyphenation has taken place. Today India’s position is far ahead of Pakistan. Now no one keeps us in the same bracket. Pakistan has been isolated on the issue of terrorism. It is all due to the efforts of Shri Modi ji.

Similarly, Indian leaders avoided visiting Israel due to vote bank politics. But now Shri Modi ji has shown the world how India can deal with both the nations separately by having very cordial and healthy relations. India today is capable of handling the two different countries in the best possible manner.

During the Russia-Ukraine war when 22,500 Indian students were stranded in the war zone, it was Shri Modi ji who initiated dialogue with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President V Zelenskyy and requested for a limited ceasefire which led to the rescue of 22,500 Indian students. In Bali, our Prime Minister said that this is not the time for war.

It is due to the efforts of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji that today India is the essential partner in all the multilateral forums. India is leading the G20, India is a regular invitee to the powerful G7, we have contributed immensely to the QUAD, BRICS, SCO and I2U2. Today India is playing a very effective role in all the global multilateral platforms.

The G20 Presidency has come to India when the world is facing very challenging issues. World is emerging from the Corona pandemic, there are pressing issues related to the Russia-Ukraine war, there are issues related to the global supply chain. In today’s world the voice and views of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji are very important..

The double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the dynamic leadership and guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is writing new chapters of growth and development in Karnataka. Highways are being constructed across the state and all these highways are the highways of growth, development and prosperity. All this showcases the speedy development of Karnataka.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has pledged to further speed up this speed of growth and development of Karnataka. We have come with the vision and mission to change the face of Karnataka. The Congress and the JDS, both parties are dynastic parties. The parties which have control of one dynasty and one family cannot do any good for Karnataka. They are here to destroy the state and derail all the development works of the Bharatiya Janata Party government. We have become the world's Pharmacy hub.

It took decades and centuries for vaccines for different diseases to reach India. However, in just 9 months two indigenous vaccines were made in India during Covid.

Our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has raised the living standard of over 130 crore people of the country, he has empowered every section of our society. In Karnataka he has started several development works which are being executed by our senior leader and former Chief Minister Shri B S Yeddyurappa ji and the Chief Minister Shri Basavraj Bommai ji in the state.

Under the leadership of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji 11 new airports are coming up in Karnataka. Since Independence in the past 70 years only 74 airports were constructed till 2014, but in the past 9 years 74 new airports were constructed under the dynamic leadership and guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

In the past few months projects worth several thousand crores have been inaugurated by our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. Asia's largest helicopter manufacturing unit is coming up in Karnataka. Corridors of development are coming up in Karnataka.

In FDI, Karnataka is at the top position in the country. Similarly Karnataka is also number one in start-up resolution. Therefore it is imperative that the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party under the leadership and guidance of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji should continue in order to make Karnataka the number one state in all aspects of growth and development.

In the 70 years of independence, 7 AIIMS were built, out of which 6 AIIMS were built in the Vajpayee government, while under the leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, 15 new AIIMS were started in just 9 years. In 70 years of independence, 74 airports were built, while in only 9 years of the Modi government, about 74 new airports were built. This is the speed, skill and scale of the respected Prime Minister's work.

Whatever the Bharatiya Janata Party says, it delivers and fulfills all its promises. We do whatever is necessary for the growth, development, progress and prosperity of the nation and the states.
