The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party met today under the Presidentship of ShriRajnath Singh.
It was attended by Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the former Prime Minister, Shri L.K. Advani, Leader of the Opposition (Lok Sabha), Shri Jaswant Singh, Leader of Opposition (Rajya Sabha) and all the members of the Central Election Committee of the BJP.
It decided the following names for the election to the Rajya Sabha.
