Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, the BJP Vice-President has stated that the BJP President Shri Lal Krishna Advani has nominated 40 prominent leaders of the party to the National Council. These prominent leaders are: Shri Sundar Singh Bhandari, Bhai Mahavir, Shri Vishnukant Shastri, Shri Kedar Nath Sahni, General Jacob, Shri Om Prakash Kohli, Shri Charti Lal Goel, Shri Babu Parmanand, Shri Nitya Nand Swami, Shri Om Prakash Dhankar, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, Shri Mange Ram Garg, Shri Prakash Jawdekar, Sardar Ajit Singh, Dr. Jagdish Shettigar, Shri J.C. Jaitley, Dr.Ram Kripal Sinha, Shri Vibhuti Narayan Singh, Swami Chinmayanand, Shri Sundar Lal Patwa, Shri Lakhi Ram Agarwal, Shri Om Prakash Singh, Capt. H.C. Malik, Smt. Vijaya Chakravarty, Smt. Bhavnaben Chikaliya, Shri S.K. Muddin, Shri U.V. Krishna Raju, Shri Jagmohan, Shri Pon Radhakrishnan, Shri Virendra Juyal, Shri Mukesh Khanna, Shri Gajendra Chouhan, Shri Ramapati Shastri, Shri Nand Kumar Sai, Shri Ramakrishan, Shri Gautam Sen, Kumari Vijaya Shanti, Dr. Tamil Selvi, Shri D. Radhakrishan Reddy, Dr. Sudha Yadav.
Shri Naqvi has added that on the Occasion of "BJP Rajat Jayanti Varsh", the party will hold a special session of its National Council on coming Apri 6, 2005 in which all elected members of the National Council, all members nominated to the National Council by the National President, former party presidents, State Presidents, Party Leaders in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, Leaders of Legislative Assembilies and Legislative Councils, all members of National Executive, National Presidents of Morchas, National Conveners of the Cells, etc. will Participate. Besides, all BJP M.Ps from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, all members of the Legislative Assemblies, and Legislative Councils, all office - bearers of BJP State Units, all National office bearers of Morchas/Cells and all Presidents of state Morchas have been invited to attend this session as special invitees.
Shri Naqvi has further added that the BJP National Executive will also meet in New Delhi on coming April 5, 2005, in which all members of the Executive will participate. The meet will discuss in details the programmes proposed to be organised during "Rajat Jayanti Varsh".
