Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Shri Gaurav Bhatia addressed a press conference at the party's central office on Thursday. During the conference, Shri Bhatia, During the conference, Shri Bhatia strongly targeted Robert Vadra and the Congress party’s involvement in the Shikopur land scam case. Shri Gaurav Bhatia demanded that Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi break their silence on this issue and provide answers.

Shri Bhatia stated that the people of the country have begun to understand the true strength of an honest government. The Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to eliminating corruption and putting the corrupt behind bars. If farmers' land has been taken away, it will be returned to them. Every single penny looted by the so-called “fake Gandhi” family from the hard-earned money of the public will be recovered. This is the resolve of the government led by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The BJP government follows a policy of zero tolerance towards corruption and is waging the toughest battle against it.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that some people had assumed they were above Indian law simply because they had ‘Gandhi' attached to their name — but that illusion has now been shattered. The journey has indeed been tough, but it is proving to be an eye-opener for everyone. Earlier, they were on the ‘No Frisking’ list, but now they have landed on the ‘No Frills’ list. There are no VIPs anymore. Those who indulge in corruption will be dealt with by the investigating agencies, and if anyone becomes a land mafia, the grip of the law will surely reach them. Today, for the third consecutive day, Robert Vadra — who was imposed on the people of India as the ‘Jijaji of the nation’ — is now compelled to answer tough questions before the Enforcement Directorate like any ordinary citizen. It is being said that Robert Vadra now trembles at the sight of the ED and quips — “Tumko dekha to ye khayal aaya, Modi ji dhoop, Sonia ghana saaya.” For such individuals, everything was once easy, thanks to the full protection they enjoyed under Congress governments, allowing them to indulge in open corruption. The most important thing the public must know today is this: at the time of the Shikohpur land scam, both the Centre and Haryana had Congress governments. Bhupinder Singh Hooda was the Chief Minister of Haryana, and the shady land deals involved in this scam must be brought to light — the people of India have a right to know.

Shri Bhatia stated that this is a deal in which there was a 700% profit in just four months. Robert Vadra's company, Skylight Hospitality Private Limited, purchased over three acres of land for ₹7.5 crore. This land was bought from Omkareshwar Properties Private Limited (OHPPL). However, no payment was initially made to OHPPL for this land. Typically, the buyer is responsible for paying the stamp duty during a land purchase. However, in this instance, since it involved the “Damad Ji” and there was pressure from Sonia Gandhi, the stamp duty was paid by OHPPL. Furthermore, the cheque issued for payment at the time of the sale deed was not from Skylight Hospitality but from a different company. Why did this happen? Will Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra answer this?

Shri Bhatia stated that the scam did not stop there. The next revelation is the most significant, clearly indicating the misuse of authority by then Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and the steps taken under the directives of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. A company named Skylight Hospitality applies for a license. A petition is submitted, and within just four days, the license is granted to Robert Vadra’s company. The citizens of the country would be astonished to learn that such corruption is associated with a family that does not hesitate to violate any law in the country, as their focus is not on the public but on their Damad. Had an ordinary citizen applied for such a license during the Congress government, it would have involved bribery and years of waiting. However, for “Damad Ji,” the license was granted by ignoring the law. Interestingly, government officials themselves had raised objections on the file, stating that Robert Vadra's company, Skylight Hospitality, lacked both the financial capacity and technical qualifications, and therefore, it should not have been granted the license.

National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that a piece of land purchased for ₹7.5 crore was sold to a builder for ₹58 crore immediately after obtaining the license — earning a profit of ₹50 crore in just a few months. That’s almost a 700% return. When an official raised concerns about this transaction and called it illegal, action was taken against the officer instead. It would not be wrong to say that this "Fake Gandhi" family has become a symbol of traditional corruption and dishonesty. Robert Vadra is accused of grabbing farmers’ land in land scam cases. The Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, is directly named in the National Herald scam. Sonia Gandhi is involved in both the VVIP chopper scam and the National Herald case. Rajiv Gandhi’s name surfaced in the infamous Bofors scandal. This so-called “Fake Gandhi” family seems to have made it their mission to exploit every opportunity to loot India, rob its people, and snatch land from poor farmers. But the real tragedy is — no one dared to question them. There was a time when, under Congress rule, even the CBI was reduced to being a “caged parrot.” And let it be clear — this was not the BJP's remark; it was the Supreme Court of India that said so. Because the agency’s remote control was in the hands of the Gandhi family.

Shri Bhatia stated that today, when questions are raised about the fake Gandhi family, they attempt to deflect them by labeling them as political vendetta. However, in the cases mentioned, Robert Vadra, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi have repeatedly approached the courts. If these cases were truly politically motivated, the lower courts and the Supreme Court could have dismissed the cases. This is the ruling in the Bhajanlal case by the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court. But in these cases, they have not received any relief, and the cases have not been dismissed. Investigations related to corruption are also ongoing against Robert Vadra. Today, Robert Vadra stated that he is being harassed because he is a “mass leader.” There is no harm in saying that, in the eyes of Congress members, who are naturally sycophantic, he must indeed be a mass leader. However, in the eyes of the public, especially farmers, he is seen as a land mafia and a person linked to serious corruption. This truth cannot be denied.

BJP National Spokesperson Shri Bhatia stated that when questions related to quality were asked to Robert Vadra, he did not have an answer, as the “key” he received from Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi did not include an answer to that question. He made a statement but refused to answer, saying that an investigation is ongoing. So why make the statement? The most concerning part was when he said, “Time will change, and they too will have to pay the price.” This is a direct threat to the investigating agencies and to the farmers. Such behaviour and mindset can only belong to the fake Gandhi family. These matters date back to the time when Sonia Gandhi was the Chairperson of the UPA, and therefore, she should break her silence on moral grounds. Rahul Gandhi is the leader of the opposition today, and Robert Vadra is his brother-in-law, so they must answer these serious questions. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as his wife and siting MP also must not remain silent, especially when it comes to issues related to farmers, and provide clear answers.
