Statement issued by National Spokesperson, Shri Prakash Javadekar

First meeting of the newly constituted National office bearers will be held on Thursday the 2nd Feb at party headquarter at 12:30PM. Party President Sh. Rajnath Singh will chair the meeting. The meeting will discuss the current political situation and organisational issues. It will chalk out the programme for next three months. The meeting will also discuss the strategy to be adopted in the election bound states of Assam, West Bengal, Pondicherry, Tamilnadu and Kerala. The meeting will be attended by Sh. AB Vajpayee, Sh. L K Advani, Dr. MM Joshi, Venkaiah Naidu, Smt. Sushma Swaraj, Pro. V K Malhotra, all the past presidents, morcha presidents and national spokespersons of the party besides the office bearers.

The meeting of the general secretaries of the party will be held at 10:30AM before the office bearers meeting. This will be attended by Sh. L K Advani, Venkaiah Naidu, Sushma Swaraj, Pramod Mahajan, Arun Jaitley, Anant Kumar, Bal Apte, V K Malhotra, Thawar Chand Gehlot, Om Mathur. Sh. Jaswant Singh and Sh. Vinay Katiyar will not attend the meeting as they are leading a pilgrimage in Pakistan and Nyay Yatra in Uttar Pradesh respectively.
