Hon’ble National President of Bharatiya Janata Party and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed a public meeting in Rohtak, Haryana on Sunday. Shri Nadda praised the double-engine government in Haryana under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and CM Shri Nayab Singh Saini for their development initiatives in the state, while highlighting the corruption that plagued the Congress rule. During the event, Haryana BJP President Shri Mohan Lal Badoli, Rohtak Assembly Candidate Shri Manish Grover and Kalanaur BJP Candidate Smt Renu Dabla, among other leaders were present.
Shri Nadda emphasized the need for collective efforts in villages, towns, and regions to ensure the victory of the BJP in the upcoming election. The people of Haryana blessed the BJP in 2014 and 2019, and will once again support the party in 2024, ensuring the continuity of development under the ‘Non-stop Haryana’ slogan. In order to enjoy light, one needs to experience darkness. The Congress regime in Haryana is akin to darkness. During the Congress regime, land scams occurred in Haryana, with big dealers taking farmers' lands. Employment was provided through the 'Kharchi-Parchi' system, leaving bright and eligible students in the line of unemployment. The Congress has been implicated in a series of scams, including the coal, land, submarine, rice, tank, helicopter, and the 2G-3G scam. From the sky to the land and even the water, Congress’ involvement in corruption has left no domain untouched.
BJP National President Shri Nadda stated that Congress stands for misgovernance, corruption, and criminalization. For vote bank politics, Congress creates division between castes and religions, such is the ideology of Congress. On the other hand, the double-engine government under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji is working for a 'Non-Stop Haryana'. While economies in the USA, Europe, Australia, Japan, and China are struggling with growth, India, under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, is seen as the 'Bright Spot'. International financial institutions including the IMF have called India the ray of hope in terms of economic growth. Ten years ago, India had a reputation as a corrupt nation on a global scale. However, under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, India has risen from the 11th position to the 5th in the global economy, surpassing Britain. India is now poised to become the third-largest economy in the world during the third term of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini.
Shri Nadda stated that India is exporting electronic goods worth ₹70,000 crore. A decade ago, mobile phones were being imported from China, Taiwan and Indonesia. Currently, 97% of mobile manufacturing is “Made in India”. The nation has also emerged as the third-largest toy exporter globally. India has also become the 'World's Dispensary,' producing some of the most effective and affordable medicines. During the COVID-19 pandemic, under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, India developed two indigenous vaccines within 9 months. Demonstrating global solidarity, India distributed vaccine doses to 100 countries through the 'Vaccine Maitri' initiative. 48 countries have been given free vaccines. This marked India’s shift from being a ‘Seeker’ to a ‘Giver’ on the global stage under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. India has risen to the third position in the automobile sector, surpassing Japan. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has increased the tax devolution to Haryana by four times and the grant-in-aid given to the state by 3.5 times. Haryana has been given ₹2.70 lakh crore for its development in the last 10 years.
BJP National President Shri Nadda highlighted that Haryana has secured the top position in the Jal Jeevan Mission, aiming to provide water connections to every household. The foundation stone for an IIT has been laid in Jhajjar, and India’s largest cancer center has been inaugurated in the same district. In Rewari, an AIIMS with a budget of ₹1600 crore is set to open soon. The metro expansion in Gurugram is progressing rapidly, enhancing urban connectivity. Over the past 10 years, more than 2,500 kilometers of National Highways have been extended in Haryana, significantly improving the state's road and highway infrastructure. Delhi Mumbai Expressway, Delhi-Amritsar Expressway, Ambala-Kotputli Expressway and Amritsar-Bathinda-Jamnagar Expressway have been connected to Haryana. The budget for railway development and electrification has been increased ninefold. In Haryana, diesel fuel has been replaced by electricity for railways, enhancing efficiency. A dedicated freight corridor will be initiated from Rewari. When Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji introduced JAM (Jan Dhan, Aadhar, and Mobile), the Congress mocked the initiative, claiming that there was no Wi-Fi and that villagers were illiterate and unable to use it. However, today even vegetable vendors are accepting online payments through QR codes.
Shri Nadda stated that 6,000 villages in Haryana have been connected with optical fiber, and there are more than 5,000 Common Service Centers operating. According to the International Monetary Fund and Niti Aayog, 25 crore people have been uplifted from the poverty line under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and India's extreme poverty has decreased to less than 1%. Under Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji's leadership, 80 crore people in India and 1 crore people in Haryana are receiving 5 kg of wheat, 5 kg of rice, and 1 kg of lentils for free every month. As part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, complete sanitation has been achieved in 6,300 villages. Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, health cards worth ₹5 lakh have been issued to 15 lakh families. This health coverage will be increased to ₹10 lakh for the treatment of serious illnesses. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji has announced that following the BJP's victory in Haryana, every senior citizen, regardless of caste, religion, region, or economic status, aged 70 and above, will receive a health coverage of ₹5 lakh for treatment of serious ailments. Additionally, if there is a senior citizen aged 70 or older in a beneficiary's household, they will receive an extra ₹5 lakh.
BJP National President Shri Nadda highlighted that per capita income in Haryana has reached number one in the country over the past decade under the BJP government, with an annual income of ₹3,25,000, the highest in India. The BJP has provided ₹12,500 crore in crop compensation. While the Hooda and Manmohan Singh government offered MSP for only 8 crops, the Modi government and Shri Nayab Singh Saini’s government are providing MSP for 24 crops, and this will continue in Haryana. If there is a government that truly cares for farmers, it is the Modi government and Shri Nayab Singh Saini's government. After the BJP comes to power, 2 lakh government jobs will be created in the next five years, and these jobs will be offered without any "Kharchi Parchi."
Shri Nadda stated that women from Antyodaya households will continue to receive gas cylinders for ₹500. Free dialysis and diagnostic services will be provided in both government and private hospitals. Scooters will be given to village girls to enable them to attend good colleges. Additionally, a separate welfare board will be established with a sufficient budget for the development of all 36 communities. On one side, there are individuals who aim to promote nepotism, engage in land scams, and are involved in scandals like the coal scam and submarine scam, as well as helicopter fraud. On the other side is the Bharatiya Janata Party, which is committed to development and driving the ‘No Stop Haryana’ initiative forward.
Shri Nadda mentioned that the Congress government in Himachal Pradesh promised to give women ₹1,500 every month, but even today, the women are still waiting and have received nothing. The Chief Minister and ministers of Himachal Pradesh have had to forgo two months’ salaries due to an empty treasury, and employees are not receiving their salaries on time. In Karnataka, the Congress government has stalled all development projects, and corruption is widespread. The Karnataka Chief Minister approached the High Court to request a stay on the case against him, aiming to avoid any repercussions. However, just three days ago, the High Court ruled that the case will continue, and action will be taken against those found guilty. The Congress party has a history of corruption.
BJP National President Shri Nadda remarked that during his visit to America, Rahul Gandhi stated that there will come a time when reservations will be abolished. As long as the BJP is in power, reservations are secure and will always remain, no one can remove them. During elections, the Congress party gives speeches about reservations, carries a copy of the Constitution, and travels abroad to suggest that reservations will eventually end. Development is tied to the Bharatiya Janata Party, and it will occur through the BJP. Shri Nadda urged the people to support Smt. Renu Dabla by voting for the 'Lotus' symbol and encouraged them to convey ‘Ram Ram’ on behalf of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to everyone.
