Hon’ble National President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed public meetings in Kushinagar and Ballia, Uttar Pradesh on Friday. Shri Nadda denounced the policy of appeasement carried out by the Samajwadi Party and the Congress, while emphasizing the accomplishments of the Modi government over the past decade. He lauded Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for his development initiatives and effective maintenance of law and order. During the event, Uttar Pradesh CM Shri Yogi Adityanath, Kushinagar Lok Sabha Candidate Shri Vijay Dubey, Ballia Lok Sabha Candidate Shri Neeraj Shekhar, Robertsganj Lok Sabha CandidateRinki Kaul and others were present.
Shri Nadda stated that it is his privilege to meet the people on this sacred land of Bhagwan Buddha's Nirvana. Witnessing the enthusiasm of the people reassures him that they have decided to send Shri Vijay Dubey to the Lok Sabha once again. By electing Shri Narendra Modi Ji as Prime Minister for the third time, the people will fulfill the pledge of ‘Viksit Bharat’. Uttar Pradesh was once known for its mafia rule, where women were not safe and traders were fleeing. Mafia elements could commit murders in broad daylight. However, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the hard work of Shri Yogi Adityanath, these mafias have been buried in the ground and those who used to support them are now in jail. This is the changing Uttar Pradesh.
National President of BJP Shri Nadda highlighted that Uttar Pradesh was once infamous for kidnappings and extortion, but today, traders are openly conducting their business, and daughters are freely pursuing their development with independence. This is the transforming Uttar Pradesh. Ten years ago, the common citizens thought that nothing would change in the country, and there was an atmosphere of despair. But today, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Shri Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh, we witnessed a changing India. This transformation has instilled confidence in the ordinary citizens, who are now committed to the pledge of "Viksit Bharat."
Shri Nadda stated that no leader in the world was fully capable of fighting COVID-19. No one knew how to combat the tragedy of the century. Even leaders in America were undecided about whether the economy or humanity was more important. Similarly, people in Europe couldn't decide if lockdowns were necessary or if economic policies should prevail. No country could figure out how to fight COVID-19 effectively. However, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji made a decisive move and imposed a lockdown within 12 hours, stating that “jaan hai to jahan hai.” He made a tough decision and, within 1.5 months, made the country capable of fighting corona. At that time, the tragedy was such that there were no ICU beds, no oxygen cylinders and no medicines for Corona. In just two months, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji made the country capable and then said, "Jaan bhi Hai aur Jahan Bhi Hai", lifting the lockdown and moving the country forward.
National President of BJP, Shri Nadda highlighted that, it took 25-28 years for Tetanus medicine to arrive, 28 years for medicine of Diphtheria and 100 years for medicine of Japanese Encephalitis. The medicine was made in 1906, but it reached Gorakhpur for the first time in 2006 when Shri Yogi Adityanath was the MP. However, in a changing India, the first case of Corona arrived on January 27, 2020. By April 2020, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji formed a task force, and within nine months, two vaccines were developed and delivered to India. With 220 crore vaccines administered, including double doses and boosters, 140 crore citizens were protected. During the development of these vaccines, Akhilesh Yadav called it the "Modi Teeka" and claimed its effectiveness was very low, misleading the public. However, both Akhilesh Yadav and Rahul Gandhi secretly got themselves vaccinated.
Hon’ble Shri Nadda emphasized that despite the impact of COVID-19 and the Ukraine-Russia war, India under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, has jumped from the 11th to the 5th position globally. The public aims to make Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji successful for the third time so that India can become the third-largest economy in the world. Today, India has become the second-largest exporter of medicines globally, producing the cheapest and most effective drugs. In the automobile sector, India has surpassed Japan to become the third-largest manufacturer and market. In steel production, India now holds the 2nd position worldwide.
BJP National President emphasized that India's chemical exports have surged by 106%. Presently, 97% of mobile phones are manufactured in India. A decade ago, mobile phones held the label of ‘Made in China’, ‘Made in Japan’, ‘Made in Korea’, ‘Made in Taiwan’, but today, they proudly display ‘Made in India’, symbolizing India's transformation. Under the PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, ration has been distributed to 80 crore people, leading to a reduction of India's extreme poverty to less than 1% and uplifting 25 crore people from below the poverty line. This information has been corroborated by the IMF and NITI Aayog.
Hon’ble Shri Nadda highlighted that under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, 11 crore 78 lakh farmers have received ₹2,000 in their accounts every fourth month, transforming the fate and image of farmers. Previously, under the Indira Awas Yojana, only 2 houses were provided in one village, but today, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has constructed 4 crore houses under the PM Awas Yojana. With the BJP government returning to power, another 3 crore new houses will be built in the next 5 years, paving the way for a new story of development.
Shri Nadda announced that in the near future, the public's electricity bills will be reduced to zero. Through the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, solar panels will be installed on the roofs of all homes, ensuring ample electricity for everyone, with any excess being purchased by the government. This initiative will serve as a source of income for the public. Under the PM Ayushman Bharat scheme, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has arranged a ₹5 lakh health cover annually for 10 crore 74 lakh families, benefiting 50 crore economically disadvantaged individuals in combating serious illnesses. Furthermore, as Shri Narendra Modi Ji will become the Prime Minister for the third time, any elder in the country aged 70 years or above, regardless of caste, religion, or region, will receive a yearly health cover of ₹5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
BJP National President mentioned that through the Jal Jeevan Mission, ‘Nal se Jal’ has been provided to every household, benefiting 11 crore families. Over the past 10 years, 55,000 kilometers of national highways have been constructed. Today, there is notably improved road connectivity between Delhi and Gorakhpur. The establishment of an AIIMS in Gorakhpur was an unexpected development, made possible by the efforts of Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath and the blessings of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Additionally, a medical college has been inaugurated in Kushinagar. It is crucial for the public to utilize the power of their vote wisely.
Son’ble Shri Nadda mentioned that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has raised the railway budget in Uttar Pradesh by 19%. Optical fiber has been installed in 2 lakh Panchayats and common service centers have been established in 2 lakh villages. Despite the doubts raised by the Congress about India's literacy and the feasibility of initiatives like Optical Fiber and Digital India, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji identified the potential. Now, even vegetable vendors conduct digital transactions, reflecting the evolving landscape of India. The funds of Ayushman Bharat Yojana, today reach the hospitals directly via digital transactions, eliminating intermediaries.
BJP National President Shri Nadda underscored the significance of light when one is mindful of darkness. It is crucial to comprehend the disparity between India a decade ago and India under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's leadership. There was a time when all the corrupt allies of the INDI alliance represented governments in the country. The Congress party has been embroiled in numerous scandals, including those related to coal, sugar, rice, 3G, 2G, Commonwealth Games, Submarine, AgustaWestland and others. Akhilesh Yadav's tenure witnessed scams in the Gomti Riverfront project, Laptop distribution and Grains scam. Lalu Yadav was implicated in several scams involving fodder, Akaltara and Land for Jobs. Mamata Banerjee's associates were implicated in a scam related to teacher recruitment, with bundles of notes found at her minister's residence. ₹350 crore were found in the residence of a Congress MP, it took 18 note-counting machines and three days to count the amount. Another ₹29 crore were recovered from the home of a Congress leader's personal assistant's servant. A DMK leader was involved in the sand scam. K Kavitha, KCR and KTR were implicated in liquor scams. Arvind Kejriwal was involved in liquor and medicine scandals. While Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji advocates for ‘Bhrashtachar Hatao’, members of the INDI alliance support ‘Bhrashtachari Bachao’.
Shri Nadda pointed out that leaders of the INDI Alliance are either in jail or out on bail. The Ghamandia Alliance is merely a family-centric coalition, where leaders prioritize their own families over the welfare of the people. Only Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has prioritized the well-being of the public. The Ghamandia Alliance opposes Dalits, Adivasis and OBCs because they aim to engage in Muslim appeasement by encroaching upon the reservation rights of these communities. The recent statement by the Calcutta High Court, rejecting reservations based on religion, aligns with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar's stance. However, members of the INDI Alliance seek to include Muslims in reservations based on religion, thereby sidelining Dalits, backward classes and Adivasis. Congress has made attempts in this regard in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. Mamata Didi even granted backward class certificates to Muslims through the back door, a move that the Calcutta High Court has rejected. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has unequivocally stated that as long as he is alive, no one can infringe upon the reservation rights of Dalits, backward classes and Adivasis.
Hon’ble Shri Nadda stated that by 2047, today's elderly will be 75 years old, and today's youth will be middle-aged. They would recall pressing the Lotus button and contributing to the development of a prosperous India. Hence, the historic day of June 1st should not be forgotten. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the foundation of a strong India has been laid. His policies have empowered villages, the poor, Dalits, deprived communities, the oppressed, youth, farmers, and women. Today, even vegetable vendors conduct digital transactions through UPI. This transformation signifies a changed India. Those once labeled illiterate are now more educated than the opposition leaders and stand shoulder to shoulder with Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
BJP National President stated that in Ballia, highways and expressways are being constructed, and villages are being strengthened. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, over 50 houses are being built in each Panchayat. Under Akhilesh's government, terrorist suspects of the Banaras and Lucknow blasts were released, demonstrating a clear alignment with terrorists and traitors. On one side, there is the opposition, which bases its schemes on religion. On the other side, there is Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, who ensures equal benefits for everyone in schemes like PM Awas Yojana, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, PM Ayushman Bharat Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana and PM Ujala Yojana, without any discrimination.
Shri Nadda stated that all Muslim, Christian and Parsi individuals have benefited from these schemes because of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's tireless efforts towards ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Vikas, and Sabka Prayas’. When I refer to a family party, I mean that if the father is the President, then the son is the Secretary of the Parliamentary Board. In such parties, the family itself decides the “decisive and executive” policies.
BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda emphasized that the INDI Alliance is anti-Ram, anti-Sanatan, anti-nation. Sonia Gandhi once claimed in the Supreme Court through an affidavit that Shri Ram is a mere fictional character. Their actions reflect their disregard for Hindu sentiments, they could not even muster the courage to visit Ram Mandir for Ram Lalla’s darshan. Furthermore, the INDI Alliance harbors anti-Hindu sentiments. Udaynidhi Stalin likened Hinduism to Dengue and A Raja equated it to HIV, yet Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi remained silent. Members of the INDI Alliance exhibit anti-national tendencies. Rahul Gandhi stands with those individuals who chant divisive slogans like "Afzal Hum Sharminda Hai, Tere Qatil Zinda Hai" and "Bharat Tere Tukde Honge Inshallah Inshallah". They have even given tickets to those who talk about breaking the country apart. On one hand, there are nationalist forces under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s leadership, that want to take the country forward and on the other hand, there are those who talk about dividing society.
Shri Nadda appealed to the public to support nationalist individuals under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji by casting their votes in support of the ‘Lotus’ symbol on 1st June.
