Salient Points of BJP National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda's address during the 'Janadesh Parv' rally in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, marking one year of the BJP government and the inauguration of the state BJP office, 'Smriti Mandir'

A year ago, the people of Chhattisgarh, fed up with the Congress government's misrule, resolved, "Ab Na Sahibo, Badal Ke Rahibo." The corrupt Congress regime was overthrown and today, under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the BJP government is ushering in a new era of development in Chhattisgarh

****************

People of Chhattisgarh must remain cautious of Bhupesh Baghel in the state and Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. The Congress government under Bhupesh Baghel was characterized by corruption, commission-based practices, criminalization, appeasement, vote-bank politics and the 'divide and rule' strategy.

****************

Congress is deceiving the public by claiming that the Mahatari Vandan Yojana will be discontinued, but the BJP assures that the "Mahatari Vandan Yojana will continue," while Congress' corrupt practices will not prevail. The Mahatari Vandan Yojana will remain, but Congress' future is doomed

****************

Congress is a parasitic party that drags its coalition partners down with it. Family-driven parties can no longer survive in India. The people have rejected the politics of casteism, dynastic rule and appeasement. We witnessed a stark example of this in Maharashtra

****************

Congress presents itself as a national party, yet it is compromising national interests in its pursuit of power

****************

Organizations such as OCCRP, FDL-AP and Open Society spread false narratives to destabilize the country. The anti-India George Soros and Sonia Gandhi, who funds these organizations, are linked

****************

George Soros openly funds initiatives aimed at creating instability in India. Before every parliamentary session, anti-national forces spread false narratives to tarnish the country's image and damage its economy, and Rahul Gandhi uses this as a pretext to disrupt Parliament

****************

Entire country wants to understand the connection between George Soros, Rahul Gandhi, and Sonia Gandhi

****************

It is crucial to reject anti-national individuals like George Soros, who hinder the country's development and progress, as well as the groups that promote their agendas in India. Those who support such individuals must also be prevented

****************

Today in Parliament, Congress leader Priyanka Vadra criticized her own Himachal government, stating that the situation of farmers and horticulturists in the states they govern is deteriorating

****************

BJP uses power to serve the people, while Congress uses it for personal gain. The BJP's policies, intentions, leadership, and programs are committed to serving the people of Chhattisgarh with sincerity

****************

In Chhattisgarh, our government has tightened the grip on Naxalism. Homes are being built for the poor, jobs are being provided to the youth, the railway budget has increased ninefold, five new medical colleges are being established, the IIT Bhilai campus has been inaugurated, and the country’s largest battery energy storage system is being constructed in Rajnandgaon.

****************

The Smriti Bhavan will serve as a cornerstone in strengthening the party’s ideology. The statues of our revered thinkers and leaders installed here will always inspire the workers and provide them with renewed energy.

****************

Under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the BJP has become the world’s largest political party. During this year’s membership drive, within just 45 days to three months, the BJP re-established itself as a party with 120 crore members. This is the strength of the BJP.

****************

Where the BJP is not present today, it will certainly be there tomorrow—move forward with this belief.

Bharatiya Janata Party National President and Union Minister Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda, addressed a public meeting "Janadesh Parv" in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, on Friday. Following this, Shri Nadda inaugurated the newly constructed state BJP office, "Smriti Bhavan." Commending the Vishnu Deo Sai government for successfully completing one year of BJP governance in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Shri Nadda highlighted various developmental initiatives. He assured that the government is actively addressing public concerns and is committed to propelling the state towards greater progress in the coming years. During the event, Chattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, Shri Vijay Sharma, former Governor Shri Ramesh Bais, BJP National Vice President Smt. Saroj Pandey, Sushri Lata Usendi, Assembly Speaker and former Chief Minister Shri Raman Singh, Chhattisgarh In-charge and Bihar Minister Shri Nitin Nabin, among other prominent leaders were present. Subsequently, while inaugurating the state BJP office, Smriti Bhavan, Shri Nadda extended his congratulations to the Chhattisgarh BJP unit. Shri Nadda paid homage to the visionary leaders and founders of the Jan Sangh, including Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Pt Deendayal Upadhyaya, reverend Kushabhau Thakre, Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia, and Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, along with other distinguished party leaders.

Shri Nadda stated that, 23 years ago, on December 13, 2001, terrorists attacked the Indian Parliament, targeting MPs, and 9 security personnel laid down their lives to safeguard it. Today, we pay tribute to the brave security personnel whose sacrifice allowed us to protect India's Parliament and MPs, and their martyrdom will always be remembered for saving the institution. One year ago, under the leadership of Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the BJP government was formed in Chhattisgarh. This moment of celebration brings everyone together to highlight the progress made under the BJP-led government. The Bharatiya Janata Party has fulfilled its promises, and the public should evaluate the leaders they elected, reflecting on the benefits of their leadership and considering what might have happened if different leaders had been chosen.

BJP National President pointed out that the true joy of light is experienced only when one has known the tragedy of darkness. Five years ago, in Chhattisgarh, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi promised that after Congress’s victory, women would immediately receive ₹72,000. However, this promise was never fulfilled, and the state remained in darkness for five years. In contrast, after becoming Chief Minister, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai implemented the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana in the first cabinet meeting and prepared to disburse the first installment of the Mahatari Vandan Yojana. This is the difference, the contrast between darkness and light. This is not merely about schemes; it’s about intentions. The Bharatiya Janata Party’s intentions, policies, and programs are wholeheartedly dedicated to serving the people of Chhattisgarh. The BJP comes to power to use it for public service, whereas the Congress seeks power for personal gain. The key difference between the BJP and Congress is that the BJP uses power to benefit the people, while Congress exploits it for their own interests. The BJP is willing to sacrifice for the people, while Congress deceives the public to fill their own pockets. This difference must be understood.

Shri Nadda expressed gratitude to the people of Chhattisgarh for their support in electing the Bharatiya Janata Party to form the government, securing 10 out of 11 Lok Sabha seats. The people of Chhattisgarh have made significant contributions to the nation and have been motivated to move forward with a fresh vision for the state. The government of Bhupesh Baghel was marked by corruption, commission, criminalization, appeasement, vote bank politics, and the "divide and rule" approach. However, Hon'ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji has not only brought a new culture to Chhattisgarh but to the entire country. Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji has committed to a new way of doing politics, transforming the approach, style, and culture of governance. By ending nepotism and caste-based politics, the Hon'ble Prime Minister has advanced the politics of development with the mantra “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.” Under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, politics is based on a report card. No other party has dared to come forward and share with the public what they have achieved in a year. This is something only the Bharatiya Janata Party can do. No one had suggested to the Chief Minister that the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana or Mahatari Vandan Yojana should be implemented in the first cabinet meeting. The Chief Minister could have decided to think about the schemes after a month, but Shri Vishnu Deo Sai made sure that the first installment of the Mahatari Vandan Yojana was delivered to the mothers and sisters within the first month itself.

BJP National President stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party government is pro-active, pro-responsive, pro-responsible, and focused on pro-development. The BJP practices accountable politics, using its power to serve the public. The BJP is committed to serving the people, while the Congress party seeks to take away people's rights for its own benefit. We are here to serve, while they exploit. The people of Chhattisgarh must make sure to “give rest to the Congress party and empower the BJP to work.” The BJP is committed to the development of villages, the poor, the marginalized, the oppressed, Dalits, youth, and farmers. This is why, under the Krishi Unnati Yojana, nearly 24.75 lakh people are being given ₹3,100 for paddy procurement. Similarly, the farmers' rightful dues of ₹3,716 crore, which were misappropriated by Bhupesh Baghel, are now being given to the farmers. Free electricity for irrigation is being provided to the Dalit and Adivasi brothers.

Shri Nadda pointed out that the payment for Tendu Patta, received by 14 lakh tribal individuals, has been increased by ₹5,500 per sack. Congress party members are misleading the public by claiming that the Mahatari Vandan Yojana will be discontinued, but the BJP assures that the Yojana will continue. While the Mahatari Vandan Yojana will remain, Congress’s future will be uncertain. The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission has introduced a transparent exam system for youth seeking jobs. The BJP government is taking action against those involved in corruption under Bhupesh Baghel’s leadership. Additionally, applications are being invited for 7,000 new jobs with a 5-year age relaxation. A sum of ₹2044 crore has been allocated for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the poor, with approval granted for rural housing for 18 lakh individuals.

BJP National President highlighted that Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji also implemented the Ayushman Vaya Vandana Yojna on 29th October, and almost 50,000 cards have been issued. Anyone aged 70 or above, from any religion, faith, caste, or income, will be provided with health cover of up to ₹5 lakh per year until their last breath. In the whole country, 6 crore elderly people will be provided with this card, and 50,000 have already been issued in Chhattisgarh. Karyakartas must ensure that no one is left out of this facility. Earlier, travelling after 4 PM in Chhattisgarh was considered dangerous due to Naxalism in the state, but now, within 1 year after the formation of the BJP government in the state, Naxalism has been given a befitting reply under the leadership of Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. More than 1500 Naxals have been either arrested or have surrendered. 222 Naxals have been killed, thanks to our security forces, CRPF, and Chhattisgarh police for eliminating Naxalism in the state. Rehabilitation for the people affected by Naxalism has also been facilitated and carried out. The double-engine government under the leadership of Shri Narendra Modi Ji has been working collaboratively. India’s economy has risen from 11th position to 5th in the world, and after Chhattisgarh elected 10 BJP MPs out of 11, in the upcoming 5 years, India will become the 3rd largest economy.

Shri Nadda remarked that India is progressing as Digital India, with 43% of transactions in the world alone being conducted in India. UPI has been implemented in 7 countries. India’s exports have increased to ₹62 lakh crore, and investments have also risen. In chemicals, India’s exports have increased by 106%, and in medicines, exports have increased by 128%, making India the world's dispensary. Under PM Shri Modi Ji’s leadership, the country is progressing forward, and now Chhattisgarh is also progressing under Shri Vishnu Deo Sai. Under Anna Yojna, 2 crore people in Chhattisgarh are receiving food grains. India’s extreme poverty has decreased to less than 1%, and 25 crore people in India have risen above the poverty line. Tax devolution for Chhattisgarh has been increased fivefold, and Grant-in-Aid has been increased by 3.5 times. The double-engine government is benefiting the people of Chhattisgarh. Whether it's Smart City, Atal Nagar, Bilaspur, or Raipur, almost ₹2,000 crore has been spent. The railways budget has been increased ninefold, and Chhattisgarh has been provided with 5 new medical colleges by the double-engine government. IIT Bhilai’s campus has also been dedicated, and the country’s biggest battery energy storage system is being built in Rajnand village. 3000 kms of national highways have been constructed, and under PM Gramin Sadak Yojna, villages are being connected with roads. Two new airports have also been built in Bastar and Bilaspur. Under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji’s, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has ensured “Jo kaha tha vo kiya hai, aur jo nahi kaha tha vo bhi kiya hai.”

BJP National President highlighted that on one hand, under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the nation is progressing, but on the other hand, the Congress party has now started opposing the whole nation, which was once opposing Hon’ble Shri Modi Ji. The Congress is a parasitic party that curses those who ally with them. An institution named OCCRP, which spreads lies and creates instability in the nation, is linked to George Soros and Sonia Gandhi, and this connection must be acknowledged by the people of India. George Soros funds them for such activities. On 18th July 2021, the Pegasus report was published, and the Parliament session was on 19th July 2021. Whenever there is a Parliament session, such reports are circulated just ahead of the session to create instability. These reports get published, the Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi becomes the mouthpiece of them and he raised that issue in Parliament.

Shri Nadda stated that continuous efforts are being made to spread instability in the country. Similarly, the BBC’s report on the 2002 Gujarat riots was published on 17th January 2023, just before the Parliament session was to begin on 30th January. The entire country wants to know the connection between OCCRP, George Soros, Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, who are challenging the stability of the nation. On 10th May 2024, during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, a report on the vaccine was released to target the government. But this is a new India, advancing rapidly on the path of development under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. George Soros openly admitted that he would invest $ 1 billion US dollar in India with the sole purpose of removing the Modi government. Such anti-national elements and the leaders who stand with them must be recognized by the public. The public should remain alert to anti-national conspiracies and defeat those forces that are trying to hinder India’s progress. Anti-national elements, like George Soros, who conspire to impede India’s development and progress, must be rejected. It is also necessary to stop those who support such elements.

BJP National President stated that the Congress party, which calls itself a national party, is actually engaged in conspiracies while ignoring national interests out of a greed for power. The people of Chhattisgarh need to be cautious of Bhupesh Baghel in the state and Rahul Gandhi in Delhi. In Parliament, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, while representing the opposition, started criticizing her own Himachal government, stating that the situation of farmers and gardeners in the states she governs is worse. Shri Nadda stated that the hunger for power has blinded Congress leaders to such an extent that they don’t even understand what to say and what not to say. Shri Nadda praised the people of Chhattisgarh for the decision they made a year ago when they removed the corrupt Congress government and brought the BJP to power with the slogan “Ab Na Sahibo, Badal Ke Rahibo." Now, the BJP is rapidly taking Chhattisgarh forward on the path of development.

BJP National President Shri Nadda addressed a public gathering during the inauguration of the Smriti Mandir in the state office, Raipur Chhattisgarh on Thursday. During the event, Shri Nadda asserted that the statues of these great personalities in the office premises will always inspire the workers in the times to come and give them new energy.  The Smriti Mandir has statues of Bharatiya Jana Sangh prominent leaders, including Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, the founder and first national president of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Rajmata Scindia, who dedicated her life to women's empowerment after leaving the royal family. It also features statues of Shri Kushabhau Thakre, who built the organization with the dedication of Rishi Dadhichi, and Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who played a key role in establishing the Bharatiya Jana Sangh as the Bharatiya Janata Party.

BJP National President informed that he has started the KNOW BJP campaign in which No does not mean 'No' but 'Know', that is, know the Bharatiya Janata Party and the public will be very happy and proud to know that to understand the working style of the Bharatiya Janata Party, 63 ambassadors of different countries have come to visit the National Headquarters located at 6, Deendayal Upadhyay Marg, Delhi, which includes Prime Ministers of three countries, Foreign Ministers of two countries, one Finance Minister and Ambassadors of different countries.

Shri Nadda stated that with the dedication of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the National President, State Presidents, and all the committed karyakartas, the party has once again established itself as a 12-crore-member party within just 45 days to three months. This is the strength of the BJP, and its growth is entirely based on a scientific approach. Therefore, move forward with the belief that where the BJP is not present today, it will surely be there tomorrow. When I say that regional parties will cease to exist, it is not an unscientific statement. Dynastic parties can no longer thrive in India. What happened to Uddhav's Shiv Sena? Why did Sharad Pawar step back? Why did the people of Maharashtra reject them? This is not an unscientific notion; it is entirely scientific.

BJP National President stated that over 25 crore people in India have risen above the poverty line, as confirmed not only by us but also by reports from NITI Aayog and the International Monetary Fund. Extreme poverty in India has now dropped to less than 1%. All of this is driven by a visionary ideology. Respected Shri Deendayal Upadhyay's principles of Antyodaya (uplifting the last person) and Ekatma Manavvad (integral humanism) have been advanced by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji by shaping them into the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.

Shri Nadda stated that I congratulate Chhattisgarh for breaking records by winning 10 out of 11 Lok Sabha seats and forming the government for the fourth time. For this, I extend my congratulations to the BJP unit of Chhattisgarh. Now, move forward with this ideology, with renewed energy, strength, and enthusiasm. I have full confidence that you will take the party to new heights.
