Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed a public meeting in Dwarka, West Delhi on Wednesday. PM Shri Modi criticized the Congress and the INDI alliance for years of misgovernance and corruption, while emphasizing the developmental works carried out for Delhi and the entire nation. During the rally, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, Union Minister Smt Meenakshi Lekhi, South Delhi MP Shri Ramesh Bidhuri, West Delhi candidate Smt Kamaljeet Sehrawat, North West Delhi candidate Shri Yogendra Chandolia, South Delhi candidate Shri Ramvir Bidhuri, New Delhi candidate Sushri Bansuri Swaraj and other leaders were present on the stage.
Shri Modi ji stated that the whole nation is witnessing the mood of Delhi today. Voting on more than 400 seats has been completed, and these five phases of elections have ensured the BJP-NDA government will return to the center. The nation understands that even a single vote given to the INDI alliance will be of no use, whereas each vote given to the BJP will strengthen the resolution of a 'Viksit Bharat.' This huge gathering is echoing, ‘Fir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkar.’ After independence, the people of the nation have clearly understood the difference between the Congress Model and the BJP Model. The distinction is evident, the Congress and the INDI alliance lack the ability and vision to think about the future. They are neither accustomed to utilizing our resources effectively nor capable of accelerating the pace of development. For 60 years, the Congress did injustice to India’s capabilities. These people have committed a criminal act. Only the BJP government can provide the speed and scale needed for a vast country like India with a population of 140 crores.
Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that the Congress could build 12 kilometers of highways per day, but today the BJP is building 30 kilometers of expressways per day. The Congress managed to build 70 airports in 60 years, while Modi has dedicated 70 airports to the nation in just 10 years. In 60 years, the Congress built 380 medical colleges, whereas Modi has constructed over 325 medical colleges in just 10 years. During the Congress era, there were 7 AIIMS, while Modi has given the nation more than 22 AIIMS. Under Congress rule, over 75% of people did not have a tap connection, with only 25% of households receiving tap water. Today, 75% of households have tap water. The Congress provided less than 14 crore gas connections in their 60 years of rule, while Modi has provided over 18 crore new gas connections in his 10-year tenure. During the Congress era, we used to import mobile phones, but today, we are the world's second-largest exporter. Under Congress, there were barely a few hundred startups, but today, there are 1.25 lakh startups. Congress ruined India's defence industry, while today, BJP is producing defence equipment worth over ₹1 lakh crore. Congress destroyed the banks, while today, the country's banks are making a profit of ₹3 lakh crore. During Congress rule, Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi said that when 100 paise were sent from Delhi, 85 paise were stolen by the "Panja" (symbol of Congress) before reaching the village. Today, when one rupee is sent from Delhi, the entire 100 paise reaches the beneficiaries' accounts. Through DBT, Modi has transferred ₹36 lakh crore directly to the beneficiaries' accounts. If the Congress were in power today, ₹31 lakh crore would have been stolen by middlemen.
Shri Modi stated that during the Commonwealth Games, Congress had the opportunity to showcase India's potential to the entire world. However, instead of seizing this chance, Congress looted Delhi and tarnished the Commonwealth Games with corruption and scandal. In this very Delhi, the G20 Summit was organized, and the whole world praised India. This was possible because the BJP's development model is dedicated to putting the nation first. For the BJP, the policy of ‘Nation First’ is a guiding principle of life.
Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that the residents of the country, including the people of Delhi, can make a decision about which government should be formed even if they don't know much about politics or the country's progress. Even without knowledge of Congress's deeds or BJP's achievements, they can decide with just two words. The agenda of the BJP is 'Nation First', and there is the INDI alliance whose sole agenda is 'Family First'. People need to decide whether they want 'Nation First' or 'Family First'. The INDI alliance represents every wrongdoing spread across the nation. Among its members, there are three common traits: Communalism, Casteism, and Nepotism. Delhi serves as a blatant witness to the communalism fostered by the INDI alliance. In Delhi, the 'Lutyens gang' and the 'Khan Market gang' have dedicated their lives to shielding these extremist communal elements, committing the sin of concealing their transgressions from the people. I have embarked on this electoral journey to confront those who have betrayed the Constitution of India. Now is the time for the nation to recognize such extremist communalists, and for my Muslim brothers to discern them as well.
Shri Modi stated that today congress party members from Delhi who are responsible for the Sikh riots that happened in Delhi? Every party associated with Congress is responsible for the Sikh riots. Today Modi is giving justice to the Sikh victims. Modi formed SIT as soon as he came to power and got the accused Congress leaders who were roaming freely punished. For the INDI alliance, nothing is more important than the vote bank. Congress has deprived the SC, ST and OBC of their rights in higher education. Jamia Millia Islamia University functioned like any other university for 60 years, providing reservations to SC, ST and OBC students. To win the 2014 elections, the Manmohan Singh-led Congress government granted minority status to Jamia Millia Islamia University in 2011. Consequently, 50% reservation was implemented for Muslims and religion-based reservation was introduced. Previously, the rights of minority educational institutions were limited to colleges, but Congress included universities in this category.
Hon’ble Prime Minister questioned the Congress government, which portrays itself as the savior of SC, ST, and OBC, asking what compels them to snatch away reservations from these communities. They owe the country an answer. In the past 15 years, despite numerous admissions,SCs, STs and OBCs haven't received their due rights. The Congress aims to implement this across the entire country. Congress is working to throw dust into the eyes of SC, ST and OBC communities. In Karnataka, they have deprived Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes of their reservations and given them to Muslims. Today, the Calcutta High Court has canceled all OBC certificates issued since 2010. The government of West Bengal has issued OBC certificates to Muslims for the sake of the Muslim vote bank. This vote bank and appeasement politics are crossing all limits. The "Khan Market gang" should apologize. They claim that Muslims have the first right on the resources of the nation. They are continuously seeking votes by giving government land to Waqf boards in return. They aim to reserve 15% of the budget for minorities. They want to provide bank loans, government tenders, and entry to prospective players based on religion. This is the epitome of vote bank politics. They oppose the Citizenship Amendment Act to appease the vote bank. They have allowed infiltrators to settle across the country for the sake of votes. The Congress party sheds tears over the Batla House encounter in Delhi and opposes the law against triple talaq. That's why they have all come together to form the INDI alliance. Now, the "Khan Market gang" has only one option left: to label any instance where Modi uses the word "Muslim" in his speech.
Shri Modi pointed out that after exposing their extreme communal actions through facts and logic, their entire ecosystem shouts that Modi is dividing Hindus and Muslims. Modi is concerned about this country. Before independence, due to such activities of Congress, the country got divided on the basis of religion. I am not doing Hindu Muslim politics. The INDI alliance talks about Muslims, vote banks and jihad the whole time. They have shattered India's non communal spirit and back stabbed the constitution of India. The Congress has initiated communal conspiracies openly and extensively. Despite telling countless lies, the truth often emerges, even from the Shehzade. Today, Shehzade has acknowledged that the system established during the tenure of his grandmother, father, and mother has been deeply discriminatory against Dalits, backward classes, and tribals. This Congress system has inflicted immense harm on multiple generations of ST, SC and OBC communities, and today, Shehzade himself has admitted to this reality.
Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized that members of the INDI alliance are deeply corrupt, with vast sums of money being found from their possession. These individuals are being caught red-handed in corrupt practices, their corruption scandals spanning from Jharkhand to Bengal. The citizens of Delhi are witnessing the corruption unfolding before their eyes. These corrupt elements have exploited every opportunity to plunder the people of Delhi. Even the courts are surprised by the extent of corruption perpetrated by these individuals who, instead of bringing about political change, have committed the gravest betrayal against Delhi. The INDI alliance leaders seek to scrutinize the assets of the poor and middle-class citizens. Modi guarantees that his government will thoroughly investigate the assets of these corrupt individuals more rigorously and expeditiously than in the past decade. Whether it's the proceeds from liquor scams or the National Herald scandal, every ill-gotten penny will be recovered from the corrupt, and those responsible for the plunder will be held accountable. Central agencies have seized ₹2200 crore, with nearly ₹9000 crore seized since the announcement of elections, highlighting the scale of corruption being tackled. I am seeking legal advice. The money we are confiscating will be returned to its rightful owner. These thieves are certain to go to jail. This is ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’.
Shri Modi stated that the Indian government is spending crores of rupees on connectivity infrastructure in Delhi. The magnificent expressways are not only making travel easier but also helping reduce garbage mountains. For the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, BJP processed 1.5 lakh metric tons of waste from the Okhla and Ghazipur landfills to build the road. In the past ten years, Delhi has seen the construction of a new Parliament building, the National War Memorial, the National Police Memorial, the Prime Minister's Museum, Bharat Mandapam, and the impressive Yashobhoomi convention center. Such infrastructure is transforming Delhi into a hub for meetings, events and expos tourism. In the coming time, this will become a major source of employment. Along with infrastructure, equal attention is being given to the convenience of Delhi's residents. Every family benefiting from the free ration scheme saves ₹12,000 annually. The Ujjwala Yojana saves ₹300 per cylinder, and the government is striving to extend piped gas to as many homes as possible. In the past 10 years, PNG gas has been provided to 15 crore new homes. Additionally, the Jan Aushadhi centers, which offer medicines at up to 80% lower prices, are saving thousands of rupees for people. Modi has now introduced the PM Suryaghar Muft Bijli Yojna, which will reduce electricity bills to zero, and the government will purchase any excess electricity generated.
Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that Delhi, being the heart of the nation, has the responsibility to ensure a strong government and a strong Prime Minister for a powerful country. Therefore, on May 25th, people must break all voting records with a massive turnout. PM Shri Modi urged public support for the victory of BJP candidates in Delhi and emphasized that every booth in Delhi must be won.
