Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressed public meetings in Karnal, Kurukshetra & Bhiwani in Haryana on Wednesday. Shri Singh emphasized on the developmental initiatives and welfare measures undertaken during the BJP administration under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji,  the corruption of Congress and Aam Aadmi Party was vehemently criticized. During the events were State Government Panchayat Minister Shri Mahipal Dhanda, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Karthikeya Sharma, former Haryana CM and Karnal Lok Sabha candidate Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, Kurukshetra Lok Sabha candidate Shri Naveen Jindal, Lok Sabha Candidate Shri Chaudhary Dharamveer Singh and other others.

Union Minister Shri Singh stated that the entire country is currently undergoing Lok Sabha elections, and in six months, Haryana will face its Vidhan Sabha elections. This results in a waste of both resources and time. Hence, in its manifesto, the BJP has clarified that if it comes to power this time, it will establish "One Nation One Election," ensuring that Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections are held simultaneously. This should have been implemented much earlier in independent India, but for some reason, it was not.

Respected Shri Singh mentioned that when the BJP proposed "One Nation One Election" to streamline Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections, Congress and other parties questioned its feasibility. However, if any political party has the capability to achieve the impossible, it is the BJP, and we will demonstrate this. The people of Haryana are known for their pride and honor. They cannot compromise on their dignity, which is their greatest asset.

Hon’ble Shri Singh mentioned that the greatest asset of a person is their credibility and reputation, someone who fulfills their promises is truly human. While all political parties make promises, they often fail to deliver. The people gave Congress 60 years of uninterrupted rule in this country. Leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Dr. Manmohan Singh all promised to eradicate poverty, yet poverty persisted. For the first time in independent India, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has successfully lifted 25 crore people out of poverty. If the BJP remains in power, it will take only 10 to 15 years to completely eradicate poverty in India.

Respected Shri Singh asserted that the BJP has always fulfilled its promises. In 1951, when the Bharatiya Jana Sangh began its political journey, they promised to abrogate Article 370, which granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir, once they formed the central government. The BJP has fulfilled its promise and BJP also pledged that once they had a majority in both houses of Parliament, they would create conditions for the construction of a grand Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Hon’ble Shri Singh noted that in 1984, when BJP members chanted "Ram Lalla Hum Aayenge, Mandir Wahi Banayenge," the opposition mocked them, saying, "Ram Lalla Hum Aayenge, Mandir Wahi Banayenge, Tareekh Nahin Batayenge." However, on January 22, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, after a 12-day fast led by religious leaders, performed the "Pran Pratishtha" of Ram Lalla. This significant cultural and religious milestone marks the establishment of Ram Rajya, as Ram Lalla has moved from his humble hut to a grand temple.

Respected Shri Singh stated that the establishment of "Ram Rajya" in India will occur when every citizen becomes aware of their duties. Even Shri Ram had to go into exile because Kaikeyi was more concerned with her rights than her duties, which caused a crisis. Once people awaken to their sense of duty, "Ram Rajya" will be realized in this country. BJP promised to abolish the practice of triple talaq, and despite criticism from other parties claiming it interfered with religious matters, the BJP fulfilled its promise. The BJP stands against oppression and will always support women of any religion facing injustice. Criticizing the Aam Aadmi Party for not adhering to their promises and for betraying their mentor, similar to how Congress disregarded Mahatma Gandhi's advice to disband after independence.

Union Minister Shri Singh emphasized that true credibility comes from fulfilling promises, contrasting the BJP's consistent delivery with Congress's failures over decades. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has achieved significant progress in poverty alleviation, something previous Congress leaders failed to do. The BJP's commitment to their promises, such as the abrogation of Article 370 and the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, which have both been fulfilled.

Hon’ble Shri Singh recalled that when the BJP members chanted for the Ram Mandir in 1984, the opposition mocked them. However, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji's leadership led to the fulfillment of this promise. The establishment of the Ram Mandir marks the beginning of "Ram Rajya" in India. Aam Aadmi Party for making false promises and betraying their supporters. Congress of similar betrayals, highlighting how they continued to operate under the same name despite Mahatma Gandhi's advice. There is a need for their political elimination to fulfill the aspirations of leaders like Anna Hazare and Mahatma Gandhi.

Respected Shri Singh mentioned that Rajiv Gandhi once expressed his helplessness by saying that out of 100 paisa sent from Delhi, only 14 paisa reached the people. Dr. Manmohan Singh also couldn't address this issue. However, the current Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, accepted this challenge and created the "Trimurti" of Jan Dhan, Mobile and Aadhaar. This system ensures that when money is sent from Delhi's banks, 100% of it reaches the people. Merely making noise cannot end corruption; systemic changes are necessary. He asserted that only by transforming the system can corruption be eradicated.

Hon’ble Shri Singh noted that he never criticizes a Prime Minister out of respect for the institution. However, he highlighted the failures of previous Congress governments to control inflation and corruption. He praised Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for creating a system where public funds reach their intended recipients, eliminating corruption at the grassroots level. Questioning Congress's history of corruption, contrasting it with the clean record of BJP governments under leaders like Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The opposition for misleading the public and claimed that despite allegations, no BJP leader has faced corruption charges.

Union Minister Shri Singh addressed accusations that a strong BJP victory would threaten democracy, reminding people of Congress's imposition of emergency in 1975, which stifled democracy. He shared his personal suffering during the emergency, emphasizing his commitment to democracy and the sacrifices made. The hypocrisy of AAP leaders who once claimed integrity but faced corruption charges themselves. Under previous administrations, agencies like the ED and CBI were not allowed to function properly, giving politicians free rein to engage in corruption. Before 2014, during the Congress regime, these major agencies only managed to confiscate ₹32 lakh under corruption charges. However, since Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji took office, nearly ₹22,000 crore in cash have been recovered, and assets worth over ₹1 lakh crore have been seized.

Respected Shri Singh stated that the BJP government passed the Citizenship Amendment Act to grant Indian citizenship to refugees facing religious persecution in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The BJP is a party that advocates for humanitarian and just policies. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has explicitly included the Ayushman Bharat Yojana in the party manifesto. Upon government formation, every citizen above the age of 70 will receive free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh. Shri Singh asserted that no one dares to point fingers at Shri Manohar Lal Khattar, neither for corruption nor for his character. Such individuals are considered saints in politics. The nation is advancing and India's stature in the world has surged. Previously, India's voice was not heard seriously on the international stage, but now, when India speaks, the world listens attentively.

Union Minister shri Singh pointed out that during the Congress government's tenure from 2004 to 2014, India consistently held the 11th position in the global economy. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji's leadership has been transformative, as today, India stands out as the world's fastest-growing economy, a fact recognized worldwide. In 2014, when the BJP government took office, India was ranked 11th economically, but within just 8 years, it has surged to become the 5th largest economy globally. Leading international financial firms predict that India's rapid progress will inevitably lead it to become the world's third-largest economy by 2027.

Shri Singh stated that the way India is progressing, it will become a global superpower. In Pakistan's parliament, their parliamentarian Fazal-ur-Rehman has stated that India is on the path to becoming a global superpower, but Pakistan is begging in front of people to save itself from its own destruction. India aspires to become a global superpower not to invade any country but for the welfare of the world. Indian culture teaches its citizens, not just those residing within its borders but all people around the world, to consider everyone as a member of their family, spreading the message of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam".

Hon’ble Shri Singh highlighted Rahul Gandhi's proposal for a survey of public wealth, suggesting that any excess would be redistributed. Rahul Gandhi’s advisor, Sam Pitroda, suggests that in India, if the head of the household dies, 55% of their assets should be seized by the government and the remaining should be given to their family. BJP advocates for a healthy democracy in the country. Shri Singh stated that Members of the INDI Alliance claim they will introduce reservations based on religion. In 1985, they attempted to implement religious-based reservations in Jamia Millia and Aligarh University, but the Supreme Court overturned this. The Constitution of India does not provide for reservations based on religion.

Union Minister Shri Singh emphasized that India is not lagging behind in defence affairs. In 2006, the Congress government initiated Sachar committee to ascertain the religious demographics within the military, a matter that wasn't acceptable to the courageous soldiers of Haryana. While Congress discussed One Rank One Pension on par with equality, they only allocated a modest provision of ₹500 crore in the budget, raising doubts about its implementation. In contrast, it was the BJP government that invested significant resources, amounting to crores, for the welfare of border security personnel.

Respected Shri Singh highlighted that a key AAP leader has been released from jail and is due to return on June 1. Previously, he had pledged to Anna Hazare and the nation never to reside in government accommodations if he became Delhi's CM. However, he now inhabits a ‘Sheesh Mahal’ built with taxpayers money. Allegations of misconduct involving a female MP from their party have surfaced in the same palace. The personal assistant who mistreated a woman is now seen accompanying Delhi's CM.

Hon’ble Shri Singh emphasized that if the government is formed, no person named poor will be left poor, those living in makeshift shelters should be provided with pucca houses, and "Nal se Jal" was made available to mothers and sisters. He said that the COVID crisis emerged as the greatest challenge of the 21st century. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji convened a meeting and directed all scientists to allocate funds for combating the pandemic, urging for the swift development of the COVID vaccine. With remarkable speed, the vaccine was developed, administered in two doses to the entire populace, not only in India but also in 100 other countries worldwide.

Respected Shri Singh highlighted that Fawad Hussain, a former Pakistani Minister who admitted in their Parliament that Pakistan was behind the Uri and Pulwama attacks, is now publicly praising Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on social media, stating "Rahul on Fire." Shri Singh emphasized that after the terrorist attacks in Uri and Pulwama, India responded forcefully, showcasing its ability to strike across the border if necessary. He remarked, "If I were in Rahul Gandhi's place and Pakistan praised me, I would reject such praise. National pride is the strongest emotion in a person. Figures like Chandra Shekhar Azad, Sardar Patel, Khudiram Bose, and Ashfaqullah Khan possessed this sentiment. They willingly embraced the gallows to break the shackles binding Bharat Mata. That's how India gained its freedom. But Rahul Gandhi seems to have lost this sense of pride, seeking applause from those who attacked our sleeping soldiers." Shri Singh asserted that India has become a strong nation. He emphasized that if necessary, India can strike not only on this side of the border but also across it.

Union Defence Minister Shri Singh stated that under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's leadership, India is undergoing a transformation with a new vision. The people of Karnal are fortunate to have a candidate like Shri Manohar Lal Khattar. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji also praises Shri Manohar Lal Khattar. Those who make baseless accusations should examine themselves first. India is no longer a weak nation but has emerged as a formidable global force. While India does not seek confrontation, it possesses the capability to respond decisively if provoked. Today, India has the strength to defend its borders and, when necessary, to retaliate across them.

Hon’ble Shri Singh highlighted BJP's longstanding reverence for women's empowerment. He attributed India's economic upturn to BJP's majority government. Presently, Indian banks are yielding profits of ₹3 lakh crore. Referring to Maa Lakshmi's symbolism, he urged the public to support the ‘lotus’ symbol and elect Shri Manohar Lal Khattar to Parliament, showcasing their support.
