Hon’ble Union Defence Minister & Senior BJP leader Shri Rajnath Singh addressed a public meeting in Dwarka, West Delhi on Thursday. He highlighted the BJP’s commitment towards fulfillment of each promise made in its manifesto and criticized the AAP and Arvind Kejriwal’s ethical standards for betraying the public. During the event, BJP Lok Sabha candidate Smt Kamaljeet Sehrawat, BJP senior leader Shri Rajesh Gehlot, among other leaders were present.

Respected Shri Singh highlighted that with five phases of polling completed in India, political analysts worldwide are predicting that the BJP government is in the lead and poised to surpass the ‘400 seats’. The erosion of trust in Indian politics stems from the actions of leaders within the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party. A nation's leader must demonstrate the ability to honor commitments. The BJP government has demonstrated consistency in fulfilling its manifesto pledges since 1951. The Bharatiya Janata Party has consistently aligned its words with actions.

Hon’ble Shri Singh stated that after securing a parliamentary majority, the BJP revoked Article 370. Since 1984, BJP's manifesto pledged the construction of a Bhavya Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. On 22 January, the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji did the Praan Pratishtha of Ram Mandir under the guidance of religious leaders and today a Bhavya Ram Mandir is ready on the land of Ayodhya. Bhagwan Shri Ram has left the tent and entered the Bhavya Mahal and this is an auspicious sign of the arrival of Ram Rajya in India. The BJP government had also promised to end triple talaq, which was strongly opposed. It is the duty of the government to protect the honor of the mothers, sisters and daughters of the country, no matter which religion they belong to. The BJP government has fulfilled its promise by ending triple talaq.

Respected Shri Singh criticized the opposition, questioning the trustworthiness of Arvind Kejriwal, who allegedly betrayed his mentor, Anna Hazare. During the movement, Arvind Kejriwal assured Hazare that they wouldn't establish a political party after achieving their objective. However, he allegedly went back on his word and formed the Aam Aadmi Party. Following the formation of his political party, Arvind Kejriwal declared aspirations to transform India into a city like London. However, under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, the nation has since progressed beyond London. Despite promising to clean the Yamuna river, its water remains unsuitable for drinking. Arvind Kejriwal, who fought against corruption, now faces allegations of corruption and is confined behind bars.

Hon’ble Shri Singh highlighted that Arvind Kejriwal pledged not to reside in a government property if elected Chief Minister, yet he allegedly constructed a Sheesh Mahal, using public funds. A female MP from the Aam Aadmi Party was subjected to a brutal assault at Sheesh Mahal, while Arvind Kejriwal reportedly remained in the company of the alleged perpetrator without addressing the incident. After maintaining silence for 15 days on the Swati Maliwal incident, Arvind Kejriwal is saying that the matter is under investigation. A government which cannot protect mothers, sisters and daughters has no right to remain in power.

Respected Shri Singh criticized Arvind Kejriwal for previously stating that he would never enter into an alliance with the Congress, yet now he appears to be aligning with congress as their ‘B.’ Despite being in alliance, the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are still competing against each other in Punjab elections.

Union Minister Shri Singh emphasized that a decade ago, when India voiced its opinions on international platforms, they were not given the due seriousness. However, today, when India speaks internationally, the world listens attentively. India's global stature has risen significantly today.

Hon’ble Shri Singh highlighted that from 2004 to 2014, during Manmohan Sngh’s tenure, India held the 11th position in the global economy, a position it maintained till 2014 under the Congress administration. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has brought about a charisma that has been unprecedented in the country. Within just eight years, India, which previously held the 11th position, has jumped to the 5th position in the global economy. Presently, renowned financial firms worldwide assert that if any country is advancing most rapidly economically, it is India. If India continues on this trajectory, it is expected to become the world's third-largest economy by 2027. It is a firm belief that by 2070, India will emerge as the wealthiest nation in the world economically.

Union Defence Minister expressed India's desire to emerge as a global powerhouse. India aims to become a global powerhouse not for conquest or territorial expansion, but for the betterment of the entire world. India, where the sages residing within its borders have not confined their sense of family to those within its limits, but have embraced all global inhabitants as a part of one family, has imparted the message of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ to the world.

Respected Shri Singh mentioned that today, a parliamentarian from Pakistan, Fazilur Rehman, has stated in the Pakistani Parliament that India is swiftly progressing towards becoming a global superpower. Meanwhile, Pakistan, in order to save itself from destruction, is begging for aid from the world. Fawad Hussain, a former minister of Pakistan, who claimed Pakistan’s involvement in the terrorist attacks of Uri and Pulwama, praised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi by saying "Rahul on fire."

Hon’ble Shri Singh highlighted that India is advancing swiftly today, having even reached the moon's surface. India has become the first country in the world to successfully land its lander on the southern pole of the moon. This election is not just about ensuring victory for any candidate but about building the nation. Politics should be aimed not only at forming a government but also at nation-building.

Respected Shri Singh pointed out that while the concept of working from the office or home is well-known, the Chief Minister of Delhi has introduced the idea of working from jail. BJP prioritizes integrity in politics. Once, false corruption allegations were made against senior BJP leader Shri LK Advani in the Parliament. Shri Advani declared that he wouldn't return to Parliament until he was cleared of these charges and he resigned from his parliamentary duties. Arvind Kejriwal should uphold ethical standards. Despite his involvement in serious crimes, persistent corruption and deceiving the public, Kejriwal is striving to portray himself as a leader committed to ethical values. Now, Arvind Kejriwal stands fully exposed. Even after a woman was assaulted at his residence during his presence, he insists that an investigation is underway. Such individuals exhibit cowardice and weakness. A true leader, even if accused, has the courage to accept responsibility and is prepared to face appropriate consequences.

Union Minister Shri Singh stated that parties like AAP should be cleansed not only from entering Delhi but from Indian politics as a whole. They lack any ethical mandate to participate in governance. The AAP cannot point to any significant achievements they have made. While they claim success in the realm of education, if true, it would have prevented many Delhi residents from seeking education for their children in other states. AAP has no response to these inquiries. By resorting to lies and deceiving the public, one may happen to form a government, but they can never truly build a nation.

Union Defence Minister Shri Singh emphasized that there is no doubt about Smt Kamaljeet Sehrawat's integrity, as nobody can accuse her of a single corruption. Shri Singh urged for the support of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji in Parliament for the nation's development, stressing the need for parliamentary support. Shri Singh appealed to the public to ensure Smt Kamaljeet Sehrawat's victory and send her to the Parliament by casting votes heavily in favor of the ‘Lotus’ symbol.
