Hon’ble Union Defence Minister and Senior BJP leader Shri Rajnath Singh addressed a public meeting in Jammalamadugu in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. Shri Singh criticized the widespread corruption and crime in Andhra Pradesh under CM Jagan Mohan Reddy's leadership, emphasizing that only the ‘double engine’ government of the BJP-TDP can ensure the state's development. During the event, state assembly candidate from Jammalamadugu Shri Chadipirala Adinarayana Reddy, Kadapa Lok Sabha candidate Shri Bhupesh Reddy, district President Shri Shashi Bhushan Reddy among other leaders were present.
Union Minister Shri Singh asserted that Kadapa is renowned throughout India for its rich history and culture. In the era of the Ramayana, this region was famous as Dandakaranya, where Shri Ram resided in the forest for 14 years. In a place with such significant history and culture, the Chief Minister should serve with complete commitment, akin to "Kattappa" from the movie "Bahubali." However, under the ten-year rule of the YSRCP, this has not been the case, not only in Kadapa but throughout Andhra Pradesh, where the public is troubled by corruption. Law and order here are at their worst, despite the Chief Minister's hometown, with incidents of rape and molestation occurring in the region. Such a Chief Minister has no moral right to remain in office. While questioning CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, he highlighted that despite burdening the state with a loan of 13.5 lakh crore rupees, the government has increased taxes and burdened the public.
Respected Shri Singh asserted that it seems as that the government of YSRCP is not in power, but rather it's a government of sand mafia, land mafia, mining mafia, and milling mafia. Open land grabbing is taking place here. Now, a double-engine government is being formed, comprising the TDP and BJP, and the BJP government assures the public that after the formation of the NDA government, it will completely eradicate bad governance here and free Andhra Pradesh from corruption. The BJP government holds great respect for Telugu culture, which is why when Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi visits Andhra Pradesh, he visits Veerabhadra Mandir, Lepakshi Mandir, and Tirupati Balaji. Everyone respects figures like Alluri Sitarama Raju for his contributions to India's independence, and the work of remembering them has been done by none other than the Modi-led government. Former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao, born on the soil of Andhra Pradesh under the name Telugu Vita, is respected by the entire nation. However, the respect that Congress owed him was not given, and if any government honored him, it was the BJP government and henceforth he was conferred with Bharat Ratna. The BJP believes that anyone, regardless of their party affiliation, should be honored if they have contributed to the development of the country.
Senior BJP leader Shri Singh stated that it is a positive development that both Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections are being held together in Andhra Pradesh. When BJP will form its government it will implement the "One Nation, One Election" system in the next five years nationwide to save resources and human resources. Congress is not only fading away from Andhra Pradesh but from the entire country, and its condition is such that if we ask young children ten years from now who Congress is, they won't be able to answer, much like how the world has forgotten dinosaurs, Congress will also vanish after ten years. At the time of India's independence, Mahatma Gandhi had suggested that when India gained independence, Congress should be dismantled, but Congress did not dismantle itself but now the people are now committed to fulfilling Mahatma Gandhi's suggestion. INC leader Rahul Gandhi is being praised in Pakistan, but no one is found to praise him in India. He has been appreciated by former ministers of Pakistan, but a person whose praise is not being heard in his own country and is being praised in other countries has no moral right to do politics. In Andhra Pradesh, government of TDP and BJP is being formed, and the majority of seats here are likely to go to the TDP and BJP alliance.
Union Defence Minister Shri Singh stated that under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi’s, the stature of India has increased in the world. Previously, India wasn't taken seriously on the global stage, but today, due to PM Shri Modi's successful leadership, other countries pay heed to India's voice. India's economic advancement has elevated it from being the 11th-largest economy to the fifth-largest globally. Additionally, there are projections indicating that India is poised to become the third-largest economy. For decades, Congress Prime Ministers from Jawaharlal Nehru to Manmohan Singh pledged to eliminate poverty, yet poverty persisted and even deepened. It's under the leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi that substantial progress has been made, lifting 25 crore people out of poverty within a decade.
Hon’ble Shri Singh stated that in the 75 years of independence, no government has taken conscious steps towards providing houses for poor people. However, PM Shri Narendra Modi built houses for poor people in 10 years of governance. Many state governments also took part in these initiatives. However, the Jagan Mohan Reddy-led YSRCP halted the houses allotted by the center to poor people, and as a punishment, the people of Andhra Pradesh will vote him out in this election. The BJP has ensured water and electricity connections to every house, however, the YSRCP government is creating trouble in implementing this in Andhra Pradesh. Under the Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, the government will ensure that consumers get free electricity. During the COVID era, the Central government effectively provided free ration to poor people, however, the Andhra Pradesh government did not pay much attention to it. Under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, the government is providing free health facilities up to Rs 5 lakh. After the election, the government promised to provide every 70-year-old and above citizen with free medical health cover of Rs 5 lakh. During the UPA regime, only 8-9 km of road were constructed daily. However, under the BJP's government, the construction rate has surged to 38-40 km of National Highways daily. There were many corruption charges on the Congress government and its leaders. However, no one in the world can allege a single corruption charge in the 10-year leadership of PM Shri Narendra Modi and the 6-year leadership of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The BJP-NDA government is known for its credibility. As promised, the government has abrogated Article 370 from the country. The BJP has fulfilled its promise of Ram Mandir. On January 22, PM Shri Narendra Modi performed Pran Pratistha of Ram Lalla, marking the beginning of Ram Rajya in the country. The BJP has abolished Triple Talaq, despite opposition from people who suggested not to interfere in other religions. The BJP has respected every woman regardless of their religion and abolished this evil law for the benefit of women.
Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Shri Singh stated that the BJP is in alliance with the TDP in the state. Shri Chandrababu Naidu has undertaken several developmental initiatives for the state. In the upcoming state election, the BJP-TDP coalition aims to form a double-engine government for further progress and prosperity. PM Shri Narendra Modi has done many things for the development of Andhra Pradesh. Within three years, more than 3,605 KM of national highways have been expanded in the state, costing over Rs 58,000 crore. To witness development in the state, the public should vote for BJP and TDP candidates.
