Hon’ble National President Bharatiya Janata Party,Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda addressed a public meeting in Chandigarh on Friday. Shri Nadda emphasized the developmental strides achieved under PM Shri Narendra Modi's leadership while criticizing Congress for its divisive tactics aimed at religious polarization. During the event, BJP National Vice President Shri Saudan Singh, Senior Leader Smt Kiran Kher, Chandigarh BJP candidate Shri Sanjay Tandon and other leaders were present.

Shri JP Nadda stated that everyone is equal, and if everyone progresses, the nation will progress. Shri Narendra Modi has given the mantra of GYAN - Gareeb, Yuva, Annadata Kisan, Nari Shakti. Shri JP Nadda asserted that under Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India's economy has made significant advancements post the Covid pandemic and Russia-Ukraine War. India has notably surpassed Britain, elevating from the 11th to the 5th position in terms of economic growth. He further predicts that within two years of Shri Narendra Modi's third term as Prime Minister, India will ascend to become the world's third-largest economy. India ranks second in the pharmaceutical industry. Earlier, Tetanus vaccine took 25 to 28 years, Tuberculosis medicine took 30 years to become a national program, Japanese encephalitis medicine took 100 years to arrive in India. Presently, India produces the best medicines. In petrochemicals, exports surged by 106%. India ranks second in steel production. A decade ago, most mobile phones were imported, but now, with the 'Made in India' initiative, they are manufactured domestically. During the Covid pandemic, the world panicked. America and Europe were indecisive about implementing lockdown measures. However, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi decisively enforced a lockdown, affirming 'Jaan Hai Toh Jahan Hai.' He prepared the nation to combat the virus, later lifting the lockdown with the mantra 'Jaan Bhi Hai Aur Jahan Bhi Hai,' setting a global leadership example. Under his guidance, 140 crore citizens received two vaccine doses and a booster, safeguarding India from the deadly pandemic and even exporting vaccines to 100 countries. Despite Congress' skepticism and misleading claims about vaccine trials, they secretly got vaccinated themselves.

National President of BJP, Shri Nadda highlighted that PM Shri Modi has prioritized empowering villages and uplifting the poor, marginalized, and oppressed, while also focusing on youth, women, and farmers' welfare. The Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana has facilitated the construction of solid roads, fostering rural development. Optical fiber connectivity is being extended to over 5 lakh 25 thousand kilometers to villages, with 2 lakh villages linked through common service centers. Despite Congress' past mockery of digital transactions, even small street vendors are now using UPI, signaling a transformative shift in India. The Pradhan Mantri Gareeb Kalyan Anna Yojana has provided essential food grains to over 80 crore people, lifting over 25 crore people above the poverty line.

Shri Nadda stated that under the previous government, only two houses were allotted in one Panchayat under the Indira Awas Yojna. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has provided 4 crore pucca houses with bedrooms, kitchen, toilet, and gas cylinder. PM Shri Narendra Modi has also announced plans to build three crore new houses in the upcoming tenure. Gas connections will be provided through pipelines to every household. Under the Pradhan Mantri Surya Har Ghar Muft Yojana, solar panels will be installed on the roof of every household, resulting in zero electricity bills, and any surplus electricity generated will be bought by the government, generating income. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has launched the world's largest health scheme, Ayushman Bharat, providing annual health coverage of up to ₹5 lakh to combat serious illnesses, benefiting 10 crore 74 lakh families which is 50 crore people with 40% of India's population covered based on profession and not just caste.

Hon’ble Shri Nadda highlighted that in this country, anyone above the age of 70, regardless of their caste, religion, creed, place of residence, or income, will receive health cover of ₹5 lakh under Ayushman Bharat. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has prioritized the empowerment of rural, poor, marginalized, and women from a developmental standpoint. Under his leadership, 12 crore "Izzat Ghar" have been constructed, granting dignity to as many sisters. This initiative is seen as a significant step towards the empowerment of women. Nari Shakti Vandan Bill had been stalled due to political reasons for 30 years. Shri Narendra Modi passed the Nari Shakti Vandan Bill in just 3 days, and in the next Lok Sabha, 33% of the seats will be reserved for women. New dimensions and initiatives for development are being undertaken, and efforts are being made to propel them forward. Under the Amrit Bharat initiative, ₹550 crore will be spent on railway station development, while ₹900 crore was allocated to PGI for its development and a new campus. Opposition voices have remained silent on matters of development. If there are champions of development, it is Shri Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party.

National President of BJP, Shri Nadda stated that the INDI alliance is burdened with nepotism and corruption. During its tenure, the Congress engaged in numerous scams, including coal, fodder, rice, sugar, Agustawestland, helicopter, 2G, and 3G. The Congress indulged in corruption in every sphere, whether it was space, sea, underground, or on the surface of the Earth. During the rule of the Samajwadi Party, there were scams involving laptops, grains, and the Gomti River Front. Lalu Yadav was involved in the fodder scam, Alkatara scam, land for jobs scam,  BRS leader K. Kavitha in the liquor scam, TMC in the teacher recruitment scam, and the DMK in the sand scam. Leaders of the DMK were involved in the sand scam, while Arvind Kejriwal and MK Stalin, along with all the leaders of the INDI alliance, have been involved in various scams. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Karti Chidambaram, P. Chidambaram, and Sanjay Singh are currently out on bail, while Arvind Kejriwal was released just today. Manish Sisodia, Satyendra Jain, and Azam Khan are in jail. Half of the leaders of the INDI alliance are in jail, and the other half are out on bail. All these parties are focused on the development of their own families rather than the people. The Congress claims there is unemployment in the country, but the Congress itself has become unemployed.

Shri Nadda stated that it is imperative to fulfill the pledge of 'Viksit Bharat' at this juncture. The Congress, which used to fight in the name of caste and religion earlier, has now started fighting in the name of skin color. Rahul Gandhi roams around with the Constitution book but never reads it. According to Baba Saheb Ambedkar, there would be no reservation based on religion, and this was decided after discussions in the constituent assembly. Congress and their governments in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka want to use the share of Dalits, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes to appease Muslims for their vote bank politics.

Hon’ble National President of BJP Shri Nadda highlighted that Rahul Gandhi’s advisor, Sam Pitroda, made derogatory remarks, categorizing Indians based on their appearance, which is condemnable. Such divisive language from Congress is unacceptable, as they aim to divide and manipulate votes. It's a proud moment to have Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi leading us, ensuring the nation's security and unity. Voting based on skin color is absurd, and India stands united against such divisive tactics. It's a proud moment to have Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi leading us, ensuring the nation's security. Previously, when incidents occurred in Poonch, the reporting chain stretched to Chandimandir and then to Delhi for orders. Under Shri Modi's leadership, security forces have been empowered to retaliate promptly. They now have the freedom to enter Indian territory and take action against terrorists. Following attacks in Uri and Pulwama, swift and decisive retaliation was carried out through surgical and air strikes within 10 days. Despite this, Congress and its allies questioned the veracity of these strikes and the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers in defense of the nation. Shri Nadda urged support for the Lotus symbol and Shri Sanjay Tondon on 1st June with the slogan ‘Pehle Matdan Fir Jalpaan.’
