Hon’ble Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh addressed public meetings in Kushinagar, Robertsganj and Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. Shri Singh criticized the Congress, SP and INDI alliance for years of misgovernance in Uttar Pradesh and praised CM Shri Yogi Adityanath and the BJP government for restoring law and order and fostering development in the state. During the event, Rajya Sabha MP Shri R.P.N. Singh, State Cabinet Minister Shri Atul Singh, Kushinagar Incumbent MP and Lok Sabha candidate Shri Vijay Kumar Dubey, Robertsganj Lok Sabha candidate Smt Rini Kol, Chandauli Incumbent MP and Lok sabha candidate Shri Mahendranath Pandey and other leaders were present.
Respected Shri Singh stated that even after he met with an accident, he is still addressing rallies to ensure ‘400 Paar’ for NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Shri Singh praised Kushinagar Lok Sabha candidate Shri Vijay Kumar Dubey for his vocal stance in Lok Sabha for the rapid development in his constituency. He also praised Shri Mahendra Nath Pandey and Smt Rinki Kol has done a lot of work for their constituency.
Shri Rajnath Singh stated that the BJP believes that multiple elections are not beneficial for the country as they result in a waste of both resources and time. Therefore, the BJP advocates for holding both Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections simultaneously. If the BJP comes to power this time, it will establish a "One Nation, One Election" policy, ensuring that Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections are held simultaneously.
Hon’ble Shri Singh also highlighted the enhanced stature of India globally under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. He noted that just 25 years ago, India was not taken seriously on the international stage, but due to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s effective leadership, other countries now pay attention to India's voice. Even Pakistani MP Fazal ur Rehman, acknowledged India's ascent as a global superpower, contrasting it with Pakistan's reliance on foreign loans. This acknowledgment from across the border underscores India's development. On the one hand, countries like Pakistan acknowledge India’s growth, while SP and Congress are speaking against Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
Union Minister Shri Singh stated that in 2014, India was ranked 11th globally. However, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, within 8 years, India has climbed to become the fifth biggest economy in the world. World economists and experts widely acknowledge that under Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji's leadership, India is the fastest-growing economy globally. If India continues to progress at its current rate, it is projected to be among the top three economies globally in next 2-3 years. The USA and China are considered as the richest countries in the world and India will become the third richest state by 2027. By 2047, India will become ‘Viksit Bharat’ and developing at the same speed, India will become the richest country of the world. India has become one of the strongest countries in the world. Earlier there were frequent terrorist incidents in countries, but under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, there is no terrorist incident in the country. The BrahMos missile is now being manufactured in India and is also being exported to other countries.
Hon’ble Shri Singh mentioned that SP in a few years will be known as the ‘Samapt Party’ and just as dinosaurs have become extinct from the entire Earth, the Congress Party of India will also become extinct from the political landscape in the next five to ten years. The Bharatiya Janata Party never lied to the public and worked for the benefit of the public. The BJP had also pledged to revoke Article 370, which granted special rights to Jammu and Kashmir. This promise was fulfilled after the party secured a majority in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
Respected Shri Singh stated that the INDI Alliance is actually the ‘India Todo Alliance’, with weaker parties uniting to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party. Congress accuses the BJP of undermining the Constitution, but the truth is that after losing elections, Indira Gandhi dismantled the Constitution by imposing an emergency in 1975, incarcerating numerous leaders. Shri Singh stated that during the emergency his parole to attend his mother's funeral was denied. Indira Gandhi altered the soul of the Constitution, the Preamble, despite opposition from the Constituent Assembly. In independent India's history, elected governments have been dissolved 132 times under Section 356, with Indira Gandhi responsible for 90 of them alone. The leaders of the INDI Alliance prioritize only their own families, but the BJP considers the public as 'Janardan'. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath has wiped the mafias from Uttar Pradesh.
Hon’ble Shri Singh mentioned that Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has extended reservation to upper castes. Former Punjab Chief Minister and Congress leader Charanjit Singh Channi labeled the attack on the army in Poonch as an election stunt, which is deeply shameful. Congress should have expelled Charanjit Singh Channi. During Congress's 52-year rule, India used to import small arms like guns, but today, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, India manufactures BrahMos missiles and cannons independently. This historic event marks the dawn of Ram Rajya in the country. The BJP government abolished the practice of Triple Talaq to provide justice to Muslim women and empower them. The BJP did not worry about vote banks and worked for the betterment of society. The BJP stands with women of every community and is dedicated to working for their respect. The sages and thinkers of India have spread the message "Yatra Naryastu Pujyante Ramante Tatra Devata '' throughout the world.
Hon’ble Shri Singh highlighted that UP CM Shri Yogi Adityanath has effectively maintained law and order in the state and successfully tackled criminal elements. He emphasized that ensuring a stable law and order situation is crucial for the development of any state. The Congress aims to engage in the politics of falsehood by misleading people, claiming that the BJP will abolish reservation if it forms the government. However, the BJP government has provided constitutional recognition to the OBC commission, for the first time since independence. The BJP does not engage in politics solely for the sake of power; rather, it aims to work for the betterment of society. BJP will never let the reservation be granted based on religion. This practice is totally unconstitutional. Rahul Gandhi is saying, "I know what the system is because my grandmother and father were Prime Ministers. I can tell you that this system is against the lower castes." Rahul Gandhi has revealed the truth about the Congress that the Congress government's system was against the backward, scheduled and tribal classes of this country. People must reject such a party. No one can empower the Dalit, backward, tribals, it’s just the BJP that cares about them. The people removed the chain from the Samajwadi Party's cycle, and even in 2017, they were unable to repair it, leading to Shri Yogi Adityanath becoming the Chief Minister. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Samajwadi Party's cycle chain remained unfixed, and in 2024, it's clear that their cycle has rusted further. The entire world is witnessing the emergence of a new India with a fresh perspective and innovative thinking.
Respected Shri Singh mentioned that during the COVID-19 pandemic, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji engaged with scientists and urged them to develop a vaccine within the country to combat the virus. In a remarkable feat, scientists successfully created a vaccine within months of the Prime Minister's call. Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji not only ensured that every citizen of India received double doses of the vaccine but also facilitated the distribution of the vaccine to over 100 countries.
Union Defence Minister Shri Singh mentioned that the BJP government has introduced the PM Suryaghar Yojana, providing financial assistance of ₹75,000 to every family for installing solar panels. Through this initiative, families can reduce their electricity bills to zero by using the generated electricity and even earn by selling the additional electricity. Additionally, in its third term, the BJP pledges to include elderly individuals above 70 years of age from all categories under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. The Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana will also continue if the BJP government is re-elected. World financial firms and economic institutions, including the IMF, claim that within this period, 25 crore people have been lifted from the poverty line in the last 8 years. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji enacted the Nari Shakti Vandan Act, which guarantees 33% representation of women in both the Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha in the upcoming years. Under the leadership of Hon'ble Shri Narendra Modi Ji, India has become the first country to reach the South Pole of the Moon, marking a significant milestone in the nation's space exploration efforts.
Hon’ble Shri Singh urged the public to support the Lotus symbol and emphasized the importance of ensuring the victory of BJP candidates with a larger majority than ever before.
