During the event, Shri Rajnath Singh criticized Congress for its involvement in corruption and dynastic politics. Shri Rajnath Singh praised Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's leadership for India's development and appealed to the public to make Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal victorious and called for forming the BJP government in the country for the third consecutive time.
Shri Rajnath Singh commended Union Minister Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, highlighting his 15 years of dedicated service to the people. Shri Rajnath Singh emphasized that Shri Meghwal's appointment as a Union Minister reflects the trust placed in him by the Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Shri Rajnath Singh condemned Congress for making remarks against our faith, emphasizing that everyone's beliefs should be respected. He praised Rajasthan's valour and bravery, citing historical figures like Rana, Meera Bai, Panna Dhai, and Bhamashah. Shri Singh criticized Congress for the lack of law and order during their rule, contrasting it with the BJP government's efforts under Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma, which resulted in the arrest of thousands of criminals and restoration of law and order.
Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh advocated for "One Nation, One Election." He mentioned that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had formed a committee led by former President Ram Nath Kovind, which has submitted its reports. Shri Singh expressed belief that the people of the nation would support this initiative. He criticized the Congress party for its habit of opposing everything, including this proposal. He emphasized that implementing One Nation, One Election would save time and resources for the people. Shri Singh further emphasized that the elections for the Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha should be held simultaneously, and elections for all self-governing institutions from the village council to the district panchayat should be conducted together. Shri Rajnath Singh emphasized that under the BJP government, India's position in the global community has significantly improved. Previously, our statements on global platforms were not accorded the same level of seriousness, but today, India commands such significance that its words are met with keen attention worldwide. Shri Rajnath Singh pointed out that the global community looks to India with optimism and trust; even international leaders assert that the 21st century belongs to India. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi deserves credit for his exemplary leadership in guiding the nation. Despite some labelling PM Shri Narendra Modi as anti-Muslim within India, it's noteworthy that he has received the highest honours from five Arab countries, underscoring his global recognition.
Shri Rajnath Singh mentioned that eight former Indian Navy personnel working in Qatar were arrested and sentenced to death by a Qatar court. However, after Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with the President of Qatar, all eight individuals were released and safely returned to India. Additionally, amidst the Russia-Ukraine conflict, many Indian students were stranded in Ukraine, prompting their parents to appeal to PM Shri Narendra Modi for their evacuation. Without delay, PM Shri Narendra Modi engaged in telephonic conversations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and USA President Joe Biden. As a result, a ceasefire was implemented for 4.5 hours, facilitating the successful evacuation of 22,500 students from Ukraine. Shri Singh emphasized the sacrifices made by the armed forces to safeguard the nation, contrasting it with the opposition's efforts to remove the BJP from power.
Shri Singh emphasized that India used to rely on imports for arms, missiles, tanks, and other defence equipment. However, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi prioritized making India 'Atmanirbhar' in the defence sector. In 2014, India's net exports were only 600 crore rupees. Within 10 years, this figure has surged to 21,000 crore rupees, elevating India among the top 25 biggest exporters in the world.
Union Defence Minister highlighted that during his tenure as Home Minister, India conducted surgical strikes, but Congress leaders questioned the bravery of our soldiers and demanded proof. Despite the evidence being recognized globally, Congress persists in doubting it. Shri Singh noted a shift in the global perception of India under PM Shri Narendra Modi's leadership. From being viewed as a nation of poverty and unemployment, India rose from the 11th to the top 5 largest economy globally by 2014. Financial institutions worldwide predict India to become the world's third-largest economic power by 2027, following the USA and China.
Shri Rajnath Singh emphasized the contrast between the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party regarding corruption. Shri Singh noted that whenever the Congress was in power, scandals and corruption were rampant, leading to the imprisonment of their ministers. In contrast, the BJP government has remained untainted by corruption. Shri Singh pointed out the irony of the Congress, which faced scandals like the 2G scam, lecturing the BJP on dealing with corruption. Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi's acknowledgement of internal corruption within the government system, where only a fraction of the money meant for the poor reached the beneficiaries. To address this issue, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ensured the opening of bank accounts for every poor person, facilitating the direct transfer of funds from schemes without corruption. During the COVID-19 pandemic, PM Shri Narendra Modi ensured three vaccine doses for every citizen. The BJP has remained faithful to its manifesto, fulfilling its promises such as the abrogation of Article 370 and the abolition of triple talaq. Shri Rajnath Singh highlighted the government's commitment to treating everyone equally, regardless of their religion and working for their welfare. He praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's unwavering dedication and emphasized his policy of ‘Hum Rahe Ya na Rahe ye Desh Rehna Chahiye’.
Shri Singh highlighted the significant improvement in the banking system, with non-performing assets reduced from 11% to 3%. Shri Rajnath Singh noted various developments over the past decade, including the construction of toilets, homes for the poor, and water connections. Shri Singh highlighted the remarkable reduction in the cost of heart-related stents, which were previously priced at over 1 lakh rupees but are now available for only 7,000 rupees. Shri Rajnath Singh also noted that more than 25 crore people have been lifted above the poverty line, indicating significant progress in socio-economic development. Shri Singh emphasized the ideological difference between the BJP and the Congress, stating that while the BJP prioritizes the welfare of the public, the Congress prioritizes the interests of their own family. In conclusion, Shri Rajnath Singh appealed to the voters to set new records by voting for Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal and ensuring the victory of the BJP.
