Bharatiya Janata Party National Spokesperson Smt. Shazia Ilmi addressed a press conference at the party’s headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday. During the press conference, Smt.. Shazia Ilmi condemned AAP and MLA Naresh Yadav for his involvement in the 2016 Quran desecration in MalerKotla, Punjab.  She criticized AAP MLA from Mehrauli, Naresh Yadav tears pages of Quran Sharif and throws them on the road of Malerkotla in Punjab and insults Muslim religion, and now audiotape of Naresh Yadav demanding extortion money is going viral, but AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal has maintained silence. Arvind Kejriwal, in his desire to gain power, by hook or by crook merely pretends that his party is Muslim friendly and secular.

Smt. Ilmi said that another new sin, another dark chapter and another black deed of Aam Aadmi Party has come to light. An audio tape related to Aam Aadmi Party MLA Naresh Yadav from the last ten years has come to light, in which he is extorting money.

Smt. Ilmi stated that an audio clip exposing AAP leader Naresh Balyan, who has been an MLA for 10 years and is involved in extortion, has been made public. Another MLA, Naresh Yadav from Mehrauli, was found implicated in a case involving the desecration of the Quran Sharif. In 2016, ahead of the Punjab Assembly elections, some politicians were sent to Punjab to establish their political base. Among them was Naresh Yadav, who, along with Gaurav Kumar and Vivek Kumar, allegedly conspired to desecrate the Quran Sharif. Torn pages of the Quran Sharif were found on the road in Malerkotla, Punjab. In addition to Nand Kishore, three more individuals were implicated in the case. The Additional Sessions Judge of Malerkotla initially dismissed the case, and Naresh Yadav was released. However, Arvind Kejriwal's statement emphasized ensuring justice. Three days ago, the Malerkotla court found Naresh Yadav, Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Mehrauli and a close aide of Arvind Kejriwal, guilty and sentenced him to two years' imprisonment.

BJP National Spokesperson Smt. Ilmi highlighted that AAP claims to be a secular party, as reflected in their emphasis on issues such as Imams and their salaries. However, Mohammed Ashraf, a petitioner and Malerkotla resident, appealed against the earlier dismissal of the case, leading to its reopening. The court found sufficient evidence to sentence AAP MLA Naresh Yadav to two years' imprisonment. This case is not just about the desecration of the Quran Sharif but also highlights the alleged evil mindset and desperation for power within AAP. From extortion for funds to inciting riots for votes, their actions suggest they are willing to go to any extent to achieve their goals.

Smt.. Ilmi remarked that Arvind Kejriwal used to say people should choose MLAs the way one selects a son-in-law for their daughter. Now, it's time for the public to decide whether they want to continue with corrupt, criminal elements or free Delhi from them. This is how the worsening condition of Delhi will persist. During every election campaign in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal will need to highlight the wrongdoings of Naresh Yadav.

Ilmi said that if Arvind Kejriwal calls AAP a secular party and claims himself to be pro-Muslim, then during the campaign for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, Arvind Kejriwal and the leaders of Aam Aadmi Party should tell the people of Delhi about the misdeeds of their MLA Naresh Yadav, especially go to Muslim dominated areas including Seelampur, Mustafabad, Bali Maran, Matia Maran and tell the truth about Naresh Yadav. Arvind Kejriwal's close associate and Indy Alliance partner SP President Akhilesh Yadav creates a lot of ruckus in the Parliament about Sambhal case but remains silent on the Quran desecration case by Naresh Yadav.  The so-called secular leader Akhilesh Yadav, who claims to be a well-wisher of Muslims, should tell the public about the black deeds of Naresh Yadav during the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. AAP is in such a precarious position that reversing their course now will be very difficult. Whether it involves dubious criminals, terrorists, or gangsters, exposing AAP’s wrongdoings is crucial. Therefore, it is important to highlight and expose the corrupt actions of Kejriwal’s favored MLA as well.
