Salient Points of speech of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji while addressing public rallies in Mirzapur, Ghosi and Bansgaon in Uttar Pradesh
BJP-NDA wave is sweeping across the entire Purvanchal region. The massive turnout at BJP's public rallies in Uttar Pradesh is a testament to the unwavering faith in Modi ki guarantee
****************
Sixth phase of voting has ended, and it has left the INDI alliance shaken. In the seventh phase, Purvanchal will deliver a decisive blow to the INDI alliance and anyone targeted by Purvanchal's strike is knocked out of the competition
****************
Why has India decided to elect the Modi government for a third term? The clear reasons are - Nek Niyat, Nek Neetiyan and Rashtranishtha
****************
Samajwadi Party has always had a troubled relationship with law and order. In the past, they would even release captured terrorists. Any police officer who resisted was suspended by the SP government
****************
SP had transformed all of UP, including Purvanchal, into a haven for the mafia. People never knew when their lives or land might be seized. Additionally, under the SP government, the mafia was seen as a vote bank
****************
Dynastic rule of the SP-Congress had turned Purvanchal into a haven for mafia activities, creating a region marked by deprivation, poverty and helplessness.
****************
For the past 10 years, Purvanchal has been electing the Prime Minister of the country. For the last 7 years, Purvanchal has been electing the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Therefore, Purvanchal holds a unique significance
****************
Those individuals affiliated with the INDIA alliance, who have set fire to your homes, seized lands, empowered rioters, and shed tears for the mafia - such people should not be allowed to set foot in Purvanchal anymore
****************
SP-Congress alliance wants to amend Babasaheb's Constitution to appease their vote bank. The people of Purvanchal will never tolerate this conspiracy. I stand among my own in Bansgaon
****************
In 2012, the SP declared in their manifesto that Muslims should receive reservations equivalent to Dalits. The INDIA coalition wants to change the Constitution for this. When questioned about it, they curse Modi. Should reservations based on religion be opposed or not?
****************
Today, people from Uttar Pradesh proudly proclaim, "We are from UP." Uttar Pradesh is not just competing with other states but also forging ahead. It boasts the highest number of airports in the country, the most expressways, and is leading in metro projects across its cities

Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed public meetings in Mirzapur, Ghosi and Bansgaon in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. He criticized the appeasement politics of Congress and SP, while praising the developments under the BJP-led NDA government. During the events, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, Shri Brajesh Pathak, state BJP President Shri Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh, Mirzapur Lok Sabha candidate Smt Anupriya Patel, Robertsganj Lok Sabha candidate Smt Rinki Kol, Ghosi Lok Sabha candidate Shri Arvind Rajbhar, Ballia Lok Sabha candidate Shri Neeraj Shekhar, Salempur Lok Sabha candidate Shri Ravindra Kushwaha, Bansgaon Lok Sabha candidate Shri Kamlesh Paswan, Deoria Lok Sabha candidate Shri Shashank Mani Tripathi, among other leaders were present.
Shri Modi commenced his address by seeking blessings from Maa Vindhyavasini, Maa Ashtabhuja, and Mata Badi Sheetala. He highlighted that after 500 years of waiting, the Ram Mandir was built in Ayodhya, attributing this achievement to the power of every individual’s vote. He emphasized that it is this power of voting that has led to the construction of the Ram Mandir and the ongoing development of the Maa Vindhyavasini corridor. Following the conclusion of the 6th phase of elections, the nation has ensured a BJP-led NDA government at the Centre for the third time. The country has decided to choose 'Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar' because of its good intentions, policies, and the mantra of ‘Nation First’.
Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized the significance of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, stating that a stronger India will elect a government and Prime Minister with greater impact on the world stage. He highlighted the historical significance of Purvanchal, symbolizing the valor and revolutionary spirit of figures like Mangal Pandey, Maharaja Suheldev and the Late Chandrashekhar. SP and Congress have transformed Purvanchal into a land associated with mafia activities. However, over the past decade, Purvanchal has played a pivotal role in electing the Prime Minister of the country. For the past seven years, Purvanchal has also been instrumental in electing the state’s Chief minister. Therefore, voters in Ghosi, Balia and Salempur are not merely electing MPs but are also shaping the future Prime Minister of India.
Shri Modi stated that SP and Congress have a different plan after June 4th. For the victory of the INDI Alliance, people in Pakistan are offering prayers, and Pakistani jihadis are openly supporting the INDI Alliance. Their aim is not development but to engage in 'Vote Jihad' and set the country back by several decades. The INDI Alliance is advocating for the reintroduction of Article 370 in Jammu & Kashmir and plans to repeal the CAA if they win the elections.
Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that the INDI Alliance of SP and Congress have come up with a new idea of having 5 Prime Ministers in 5 years. This kind of governance cannot serve the national interest. That’s why people have decided that to make a strong nation, we need a strong leader, which is why the NDA is receiving a larger public mandate. No one wants to waste their vote on SP. The country has recognized that the leaders of the INDI Alliance are extremely communal, casteist and family-based. Their decisions often revolve around these factors. For example, there are many deserving candidates in the Yadav community, yet the Samajwadi Party only gives tickets to their family members. For several decades, India has faced numerous terrorist attacks, but the SP has failed to ensure law and order. SP leaders used to free arrested terrorists and suspend police officers who refused to release the terrorists.
Shri Modi stated that the Samajwadi Party had tarnished the name of Mirzapur. They had made the entire Uttar Pradesh, especially Purvanchal, a safe haven for the mafia. No one knew when their life or land would be taken away. Under the SP government, even the mafia was viewed as a vote bank. Now, under Shri Yogi Adityanath’s government, the Swachhta Abhiyan is being carried forward with great courage and a major cleanliness drive is underway. Under the SP government, the public was terrified, but now, under the BJP government, the mafias are the one trembling.
Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that to appease their vote bank, the INDI alliance and the Samajwadi Party are willing to go to any extent. Now, even the country's sacred Constitution is under threat from them. They aim to deprive Dalits, backward classes and tribal communities of their rights. The Constitution clearly states that reservations cannot be based on religion. During the 2012 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections, the SP released a manifesto promising that just as Dalits and backward classes are granted reservations, Muslims would also be given reservations. They openly declared that they would amend the constitution to make this happen. In their 2014 Lok Sabha election manifesto, the SP reiterated this promise, stating that 15% reservation would be given to Muslims in the police and PSC. These parties are intent on snatching away the rights of SC, ST and OBC communities to appease their vote bank.
Shri Modi highlighted that the SP and Congress aim to foment discord among various castes, including Dalit, Kurmi, Kushwaha, Kayastha, Brahmin, Rajput, Chouhan, Bhumihar, Mallah, Rajbhar, Gond and others. Their strategy is to incite conflicts between these communities to further their own political agendas. The INDI Alliance aimed to fulfill three major agendas: firstly, to amend the constitution and legalize reservations based on religion; secondly, to abolish reservations for SC/ST/OBC and extremely backward castes; and thirdly, to allocate the entire reservation quota to a "special class" based on religion. This strategy reflects the declining standards of vote bank politics, aiming to marginalize the majority population and elevate certain groups to a privileged status. Congress's decision to designate schools and colleges as minority institutions, abruptly changing laws overnight, resulted in all educational institutions being labeled as minority institutions. Previously, reservations were available to SC, ST, and OBC communities, but this was completely revoked, granting full reservations to Muslims instead. This unjust move disadvantaged Dalits, backward classes, and tribals. Furthermore, the inclusion of Muslims in the OBC list by the INDI Alliance was an attempt to usurp reservation benefits meant for the OBC community. The Congress government in Karnataka has redistributed the reservation of OBC to the ‘Special class.’ Recently, the Calcutta High Court invalidated the OBC certificates of 77 Muslim communities.
Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that after coming to power, the Samajwadi Party has given the rights of OBCs to Muslims through backdoors because their case continued to be stuck in the Supreme Court. Repeatedly, either the High Court or the Supreme Court imposes a stay. Therefore, now the INDI alliance has decided to resort to the final measure of amending the constitution to provide reservations to Muslims. The public will not allow their rights to be taken away or the constitution to be disrespected.
Shri Modi stated that India manufactures BrahMos missiles and the day is not far when the BrahMos missile will be manufactured in Uttar Pradesh as well. The BrahMos missile is highly feared and in demand by many countries around the world. However, the Congress has created obstacles in its development. The INDI Alliance leaders oppose India's to become “Atmanirbhar’ in the defense sector and the capability to export weapons. INDI Alliance leaders want foreign arms deals to continue so they can benefit from commissions and ensure scams like Bofors and AgustaWestland continue to happen. India is strongly leading towards ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ in the defence sector. Defence corridor is being made in UP. The Defence export of India has exceeded ₹21,000 crore. The voters have to decide whether they want a government that created a 'defence corridor' or a government involved in 'Dalali'. The sole of SP and INDI Jamaat leaders is ‘Appeasement’ and did not deserve a single vote.
Hon’ble Prime Minister highlighted that while the INDI alliance is focused on their vote bank, he is dedicated to the welfare of the poor, dalits and backward classes. The Modi government has been providing free grains for five years and has been offering free medical treatment up to ₹5 lakh. Now, it is Modi ki Guarantee that every elderly person in each family will receive free treatment. Through the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, around ₹1,000 crore has been distributed to the farmers of Mirzapur. Four crore houses have been built and three crore more will be provided to the poor.
Shri Modi announced the initiation of another scheme, where households will have zero electricity bills. The PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana registration is now available online. Under this scheme, the government will provide ₹75,000 to facilitate solar panel connectivity for every household, with the government purchasing surplus electricity at competitive rates. The region is a land of craftsmen, artisans and Vishwakarma families. The copper industry, carpet industry and clay utensils are significant in this area. To gain global recognition for these industries, the government first initiated the ‘Ek Janpad, Ek Utpad’ scheme. Then the center introduced the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, under which the government is providing training to Vishwakarma artisans, financially assisting them to buy new and advanced tools, and offering loans from banks. This is the 'Modi Ki Guarantee'. Earlier, even toys were imported from different countries, but Modi has worked to make the toy sector of Mirzapur bloom.
Hon’ble Prime Minister highlighted the absence of the SP and Congress leaders, termed as the 'Shahi Parivaar', during the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla, emphasizing their refusal to attend the event despite invitations. He pointed out the hypocrisy of the INDI Alliance leaders, who feigned visits to temples during elections but boycotted the historic Pran Pratishtha event of the Ram Mandir, which marked the culmination of a 500-year wait. Instead, they made disparaging remarks against the Mandir. The alliance is accused of conspiring to overturn the Supreme Court's verdict on the Ram Mandir, akin to their actions in the Shah Bano case. Despite their threats and slogans of 'Modi Ki Kabr Khodenge' and issuing Fatwas for Vote Jihad, the Prime Minister remains undeterred, shielded by the support of women, the blessings of the public, and the enthusiasm of the youth. He also highlighted the widespread impact of initiatives like the Ujjwala scheme, which has garnered blessings from every poor woman while cooking, symbolizing the tangible benefits of his governance. Modi has pledged to make 3 crores ‘Lakhpati Didi’s across the nation. Under the MUDRA Yojana, the youth got loans up to ₹20 Lakh rupees without any guarantee. The country is aware that the countdown of India becoming the world’s third-largest economy will begin after June 4th.
Respected Shri Modi ji stated that while SP and Congress are dedicated to a specific vote bank, Modi is committed to the development of Dalits, the poor, and backward people. Modi has provided free ration to poor families and guaranteed free treatment for the elderly above 70 years of age in every family. About ₹1000 crore has reached the accounts of farmers in Mirzapur under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. BJP has constructed 4 crore pucca houses and plans to build 3 crores more.
Shri Modi emphasized Uttar Pradesh's rapid development, positioning it as a leading state surpassing other. Uttar Pradesh takes pride in having the highest number of airports and expressways nationwide, along with the most extensive metro network connecting various cities. Significant infrastructure projects like the Purvanchal Expressway, Gorakhpur Link Expressway and Ram Janaki Marg from Sitamarhi to Ayodhya are reshaping the region. Furthermore, the inauguration of new institutions such as AIIMS in Gorakhpur and a medical college in Kushinagar underscores the state's focus on healthcare and education. The development witnessed over the past decade is just the trailer. The country is poised for even stronger growth in the next five years. Under the governance of the Samajwadi Party, farmers in this region suffered significantly. The closure of many sugar mills resulted in a downturn in sugarcane cultivation. Our government is committed to resolving these issues left unattended by the SP. The BJP has facilitated the repayment of loans for sugarcane farmers and raised the Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) of sugarcane. Additionally, a substantial allocation of ₹1,500 crore has been made under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme to support farmers in Bansgaon and Deoria.
Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that Mirzapur and Robertsganj have emerged as two major models of women empowerment. Mirzapur Lok Sabha candidate Smt. Anupriya Patel has worked dedicatedly for the nation as a Union Minister, while Robertsganj Lok Sabha candidate Smt. Rinki Kol is the first female Lok Sabha candidate from Robertsganj. Meanwhile, Basti is going under by-election and the public must ensure to vote for candidate Shri Shravan Gaur. Hon’ble Shri Modi ji appealed that the public must ensure to vote for the NDA candidates at every polling booth and break the previous voting records.
