Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji addressed a public meeting in North East Delhi Parliamentary constituency, Delhi on Saturday. PM Shri Modi ji emphasized the central government's developmental efforts in Delhi and criticized Congress and AAP for their past blame games, now joining forces in an alliance. During the rally, Delhi BJP President Shri Virendra Sachdeva, North East Delhi candidate Shri Manoj Tiwari, East Delhi candidate Shri Harsh Malhotra, Chandni Chowk candidate Shri Praveen Khandelwal and other leaders were present on the stage.

Shri Modi remarked that the enthusiasm and excitement of the people indicate a desire for 'Phir Ek Baar Modi ji Sarkar.' I emphasized from the Red Fort, 'Yahi Samay Hai, Sahi Samay Hai.' Today, India has a priceless moment in the 21st century. This is the time when India is setting a long trajectory for rapid development. The 2024 Lok Sabha election aims to propel India among the top three economies globally and to safeguard India's economy from forces that want to destabilize it with their economic policies. This election represents an opportunity for the underprivileged and the middle class to experience improved living standards and greater happiness in their lives. This election is aimed at protecting the poor and middle class from forces that seek to deprive them of their assets. This election is about creating new opportunities for India's youth, whether it's in the space sector, semiconductor industry, green energy, solar revolution or the era of electric vehicles, to empower them in every field. The 2024 election is a challenge to the tradition and mindset that have wasted the future of India's youth for years due to nepotism and Parivarvad. The 2024 election is aimed at building a Majboot Bharat and defeating the forces that seek to weaken it.

Hon’ble Prime Minister emphasized the need for a strong government to lead the nation. To ensure that the nation's capital gains international prestige and becomes a global attraction, the country needs "Phir Ek Baar Modi ji Sarkar.” I believe that Ishwar has sent me to serve for the rapid development of the country. Approximately fifty to sixty years ago, when I left my home, I did not know that one day I would hoist the Tiranga at the Red Fort. When I left home, everything was left behind. At that time, I didn't know that one day 140 crore people would become Mera Parivar.

Shri Modi ji underscored that, "Na Apne Lie Main Jiya Hu, Na Apne Lie Main Janma Hu." I am wholeheartedly dedicating myself to the bright future of you and your children. Every head of the family, every patriarch, naturally thinks, plans, and acts for the welfare of their successors in the social course of life. But I don't even have to do that; I have no heirs. If there are any successors to my legacy, it's all of you. People of my country are my successors. With 140 crore countrymen as my successors, "Mera Pal Pal Apke Lie Mera Pal Pal Desh Ke Liye". Your aspirations are my resolution. "20x7 for 2047" - that's Modi ji ki Guarantee. For strengthening the nation, we need a strong government, and I also need strong companions. In Delhi, may all our candidates emerge victorious as representatives of the capital of India. To fulfill my commitment to Viksit Bharat, let us unite for this cause. I have embarked on the pledge of Atmanirbhar Bharat. If you want a strong government in Delhi, you must press the ‘Lotus’ symbol in every booth. Only then the nation will become strong.

Hon’ble Prime Minister said that the capital of a developing India should also be developed and should look developed. You saw during the G20 summit how the world's top leaders were amazed at Delhi. Today, Delhi boasts modern convention centers like Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi, and the new Parliament building is enhancing our pride. The National War Memorial, for which the country's soldiers had been waiting since independence, was finally built. It was unfortunate for the nation that until Modi came to power, the governments in Delhi did not understand the importance of a War Memorial in the capital. Approximately 35,000 police personnel who sacrificed their lives for the safety of the country had to wait 70 years for this memorial. It was only when Modi came to power that it was built. So many Prime Ministers came and went, but Baba Saheb's memorial was never built because the politics of one family and dynastic rule stood in the way. This is Modi, in whose vein’s democracy is alive, who is dedicated to democracy. Modi, for the first time in the country, established a museum for all Prime Ministers. Many such memorials are being built that reflect modern Delhi. Every evening, when thousands of families spend joyful moments on Kartavya Path, it feels like my efforts are bearing fruit.

Shri Modi stated that Modi's 10-year tenure has been a transformative period for Delhi's infrastructure. My focus has been on ease of living and ease of travel. Ten years ago, Delhi had 80 km of national highways, which has now increased to over 160 km. In these 10 years, the length of 4-lane highways has doubled. Heavy vehicles no longer need to enter Delhi, as magnificent expressways are being constructed around Delhi NCR. In 2014, the Delhi Metro network was significant, and today, it has doubled in size. Every day, lakhs of people travel on the Delhi Metro. These passengers now notice that the metro gates open towards development. The NAMO Bharat train has become a new identity for Delhi-NCR. To address environmental issues, the Indian government has taken a significant step by providing electric buses to major cities across the country. Delhi has also received hundreds of electric buses to enhance convenience for its residents and protect the environment. We all know that infrastructure development brings investment wherever it occurs. Today, from small shopkeepers to large businesses, everyone is benefiting because the Indian government is ensuring comprehensive development in Delhi.

Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that he is committed to making life easier for every poor and middle-class family in Delhi. The work of supplying affordable gas through pipelines across the city is progressing rapidly, benefiting women. The free ration scheme is also helping crores of people. Fulfilling everyone's dreams is 'Modi's guarantee.' On one hand, efforts are underway to regularize unauthorized colonies, while on the other hand, the campaign to replace huts with permanent houses is also ongoing. The BJP government is also planning to provide financial assistance to middle-class people who want to build their own homes. To boost savings for the poor and middle class, the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana has been launched, which offers triple benefits for the people. Under this scheme, your electricity bill will be zero up to 300 units. For this, the Indian government will provide assistance of up to ₹75,000, and online registration for this has started. Install solar panels at home, utilize electricity in the house, and the extra electricity will be bought by the Indian government, providing you with additional income. Now is the era of electric vehicles, so with this scheme, your electric vehicle will also be charged at home, and its bill will also be reduced to zero.

Shri Modi remarked that, while development endeavors are underway in the capital Delhi, the INDI alliance is fervently engaged in its destruction. The leaders associated with this alliance bear responsibility for the decay of politics and the betrayal of the trust of millions of citizens. Those who entered politics pledging to eradicate corruption now find themselves entangled in scandals worth billions of rupees, facing incarceration. The Congress stands utterly unmasked. Previously, the Congress would boast about AAP's involvement in liquor scandals through press conferences, but today they've succumbed to corruption under the directives of the dynasty. Local Congress leaders are stuck in a bind because their facade of camaraderie in Delhi-Haryana and rivalry in Punjab won't hold up for long. The public can see clearly how one corrupt individual is shielding another corrupt individual. There was a time when the Congress party ruled the entire nation, but now it struggles to even compete for four seats in Delhi. They can't even field a candidate in the constituency where the Congress’s ‘Shahi Pariwar’ resides. Yet, the Congress's pride remains unbroken. The INDI alliance, driven by political interests, is also jeopardizing public health. While the central government extends free health coverage up to ₹5 lakh nationwide, the INDI alliance parties have chosen to block this scheme in Delhi. Not a single elder in Delhi should cast their vote for the INDI alliance. When politicians are solely preoccupied with securing votes without genuine concern for development, progress becomes a distant dream.

Hon’ble Prime Minister expressed concern over the INDI alliance's excessive appeasement tactics, noting that the Congress manifesto bears a clear resemblance to the Muslim League's agenda. He highlighted that the INDI coalition's manifesto includes plans to allocate government contracts and select sports teams based on religion, which is highly divisive and discriminatory. The INDI alliance is pushing for the allocation of the country's budget based on religion, a move that threatens to deepen divisions within society. Congress leaders are aiming to exploit public assets for their own political gain, intending to allocate half of these resources to their Vote Bank. This pattern of behavior has been a longstanding practice within the Congress party, perpetuating a cycle of exploitation and division for several years.

Shri Modi highlighted that before the 2014 elections, the Manmohan Singh-led government, operating as a remote-controlled administration, struck a deal with those engaged in "vote jihad" to secure votes. In exchange for electoral support, Congress manipulated the property belonging to the people of Delhi. To appease its vote bank and gain electoral advantage, the UPA government hastily transferred 123 significant heritage properties of India to the Waqf Board. All these properties were situated in prime locations in Delhi, where the land value per square yard amounted to lakhs of rupees. This opportunistic alliance is capable of inciting violence in the country for the sake of appeasement, endangering communal harmony and national stability.

Hon’ble Prime Minister stated that the entire country is seeing that the veil of their lies has been lifted. Refugees living in Delhi for many years are receiving Indian citizenship. Citizenship has been granted to persecuted Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi and Christian refugees, most of whom are Dalit families, which is why there has been so much opposition to this. The INDI alliance sheds tears for infiltrators and looks at those who were victims of crimes in 1947 with disdain. For appeasement politics, they want to divide the entire country on the basis of communalism. Baba Saheb Dr. Ambedkar was against reservations based on religion. However, the INDI alliance openly says that they will divide SC, ST and OBC reservations based on religion. The nation is witnessing their attitude towards the Ram Mandir issue today. They want to overturn the Supreme Court's decision on Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. They openly declare that they will bring back Article 370, and they openly declare that they will disarm India's nuclear weapons. Should such a dangerous alliance be given even a single vote? While casting your vote on June 1st, keeping in mind the goal of a Viksit Bharat, it is my earnest request to make Shri Harsh Malhotra, Shri Manoj Tiwari, and Shri Praveen Khandelwal victorious with record votes. And my appeal to you all is "Pehle Matdan, Phir Jalpan."
