Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Minister and Senior BJP leader Shri Amit Shah addressed public rallies in Giridih, Gandey and Dumari in Jharkhand, on Thursday. Shri Shah mentioned the failures of the state's Hemant Soren government and strongly criticized it for ruining a rich and mineral-rich state like Jharkhand. He asserted that after the BJP government comes to power in the state, in the next 5 years, the state will be protected from infiltrators, and by making better use of the mineral wealth of the state, Jharkhand will be taken on the path of prosperity. During the events, Union Minister Smt Annapurna Devi, Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, Bihar Minister Shri Nitin Navin, and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Deepak Prakash, Shri Ravindra Kumar Rai, AJSU President Shri Sudesh Mahto, BJP Giridih Candidate Shri Nirbhay Kumar Shahabadi, Gandey BJP Candidate Smt Muniya Devi, Dumri NDA Candidate Smt Yashoda Devi and among other leaders were present.
Shri Shah initiated his address by seeking blessings of Parasnath Pahad and Marang Buru, acknowledging Chhota Nagpur as Jharkhand’s heartland. He noted the Jharkhand wealth of black gold, minerals, and mines, making it among India’s most resource-rich regions, with enough coal and minerals to meet national energy needs. Despite this prosperity, Jharkhand’s people remain poor because Hemant Soren’s JMM government committed corruption in the schemes started by Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji. Shri Shah urged voters to support the BJP, promising that the party would establish industries in the state, reducing the need for migration for jobs.
Union Home Minister mentioned that during the formation of Jharkhand state, the youth struggled and even lost their lives, with many dedicating their entire lives to the cause. The work of creating Jharkhand was ultimately completed by Hon'ble Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. However, in greed for power, Hemant Soren has aligned himself with the same anti-Jharkhand Congress party that opposed the formation of Jharkhand state. The Bharatiya Janata Party is fully dedicated to the prosperity of Jharkhand and that Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will also work towards its development.
Shri Shah criticized Hemant Soren, stating that instead of focusing on industrial development, electricity and production of aluminium and iron ore, Soren’s attention is towards helping infiltrators. The infiltrators engage in multiple marriages with Jharkhand women to acquire their land. After the formation of a BJP government in Jharkhand, infiltration will be strictly prevented. The lands of our daughters in Jharkhand, which were usurped by infiltrators, will be reclaimed and returned to them. The infiltrators must understand that their time will end after the end of the Hemant government in Jharkhand. The BJP will bring a law to provide the land back to the Adivasis.
Union Home Minister stated that Rahul Gandhi’s Congress party aims to reinstate Article 370, but neither Rahul Gandhi nor his next four generations could achieve this. Kashmir is an inseparable part of India. During the ten years of the Sonia-Manmohan government, frequent terror attacks from Pakistani terrorists took place with no firm response. However, under Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, surgical strikes and air strikes were launched within 10 days of any attack. While Jharkhand has long struggled with naxalism, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has largely freed the state from it, and the remaining naxalists in Chhattisgarh will be eliminated by March 31, 2026.
Shri Shah stated that the first phase of the election concluded yesterday, and it has confirmed that the BJP is forming the government in Jharkhand, while the JMM and Congress were swept away. Hemant Soren insults Adivasis and backward sections of society. The JMM and Congress decided to give reservation to Muslims after forming the government. The reservation for OBC, Adivasis, Backwards, and Dalits will be distributed among Muslims. Till there is a single BJP MLA, no one can take away the reservation of the backward classes.
Union Home Minister mentioned that ₹350 crore has been found in the house of a Congress leader and ₹35 crore was found from the home of Jharkhand Minister Alamgir Alam. The money found in these places belongs to the common people of Jharkhand, which was looted by the Jharkhand government. The BJP will take action against corrupt leaders and will take the money back to the treasury of Jharkhand. Sonia Gandhi Ji is very fond of launching her son. She launched the plane named “Rahul Baba” 20 times, but it never landed. This plane has crashed 20 times, and it is going to crash for the 21st time at Baba Deoghar Airport. After facing significant losses in Haryana and a significantly low number of seats in Jammu & Kashmir, Rahul Gandhi will not cross 5 seats in Jharkhand. For 10 years, the Congress Party and JMM were in power at the center, but the Congress-led government only allocated ₹84,000 crore for the development of Jharkhand. In contrast, during his 10-year tenure, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has provided ₹3,90,000 crore for the development works of Jharkhand. Under the UPA government, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left India's economy at the 11th position globally. However, under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, India's economy has risen from the 11th to the 5th position in just 10 years. By 2027, India will secure the 3rd position in the global economy. Furthermore, in his second term, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji won the Ram Mandir case, laid the foundation stone of the Ram Mandir, and performed the Pran Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla in the grand Ram Mandir. But Rahul Gandhi has not visited the Ram Mandir to this day. After waiting for 500 years, for the first time this Diwali, our Ram Lalla celebrated it, not in a tent, but in the grand Mandir.
Shri Shah stated that Hemant Soren asked what happened to Sahara's money. Hemant Soren and Rahul Gandhi, first of all, Should remember that when Sahara's money was lost, UPA was in power at the center, and SP government was in power in UP. Today, Hemant Soren is sitting with Akhilesh Yadav and Congress. Today, the BJP promises that we will return every single penny of those people whose money is stuck in Sahara. Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has provided houses to the poor, ensured access to water and toilet facilities, and given 5 kg of free ration. Under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the Central Government is covering all expenses up to ₹5 lakh. Additionally, for every senior citizen above 70 years of age in the family, the Central Government will now bear the extra health expenses up to ₹5 lakh, regardless of their income group.
Union Home Minister stated that recently in Karnataka’s Congress, the Waqf Board has claimed the entire village under Waqf land. Temples over 500 years old, farmers' land, and homes have been claimed by Waqf. The Waqf (Amendment) Act needs to be implemented. However, the law was protested by Rahul Gandhi and Hemant Soren. However, the BJP will implement the law in Parliament. Recently, the Congress National President advised Congress to "make only those promises which can be fulfilled." The promises made by Congress in Karnataka, Himachal, and Telangana were not fulfilled. On the other hand, Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi ji does what he says because "Modi Ki Guarantee" is as firm as if written in stone. The BJP has promised to give ₹2,100 to every woman every month in their bank account under the “GoGo Didi scheme”. Gas cylinders will be provided at ₹500, with 2 additional cylinders on Rakshabandhan and Diwali. The government will ensure jobs on 2 lakh 87 thousand posts without any paper leaks and with complete transparency. Hemant Soren failed to fulfill the promise of providing ‘Bekari Bhatta’, but the BJP will provide ₹2000 per month to unemployed youth. Only ₹1 stamp duty will be given by women when they purchase property. An SIT will be set up to take action against corrupt leaders, and they will face jail time. Infiltration and Naxalism will be completely eradicated. 25,000 km of new roads will be constructed connecting villages and talukas. ₹2500 pensions will be provided to elderly people, widows, and the handicapped. ₹1 Lakh will be provided to 5 Lakh youth for training purposes.
Shri Shah stated that Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has undertaken numerous unprecedented initiatives for the welfare of the poor in Jharkhand. These include making 4,86,000 sisters Lakhpati Didis, supplying drinking water to 34 lakh households under the Jal Jeevan Mission, offering free health services to 1 crore 22 lakh people under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, constructing 2 lakh toilets, distributing 5 kg of free ration per person per month to 2 crore 65 lakh people. Under the leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, the Central Government initiated the process of establishing a medical college in Giridih. However, the Jharkhand government led by Hemant Soren has put a halt to this crucial project.
Union Home Minister stated that after the BJP government is formed in Jharkhand, 2 lakh 85 thousand government jobs will be given, without any expense, bribe or recommendation. Appointment letters will be sent directly to the candidate's home by the postman, the entire process will be transparent and flawless. The Bharatiya Janata Party and AJSU government will purchase paddy from farmers at the rate of ₹3100 per quintal, ensuring they receive a fair price and their economic condition improves. Five years of Jharkhand have been completely wasted under Hemant Soren's rule. He has done nothing except engage in corruption. Now, the people of Jharkhand should place their trust in the BJP. The Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to the overall development of both Jharkhand and its people.
Shri Shah stated that just like a transformer supplies electricity to homes, similarly, the state government is responsible for delivering the central government’s schemes to the public. However, the transformer of the JMM government has burned out and needs to be replaced. Bhartiya Janata Party government should be formed in the state to ensure the effective implementation of these schemes. In the next five years, the BJP will work to make Jharkhand safe and prosperous by eradicating terrorism, infiltration, and Naxalism. The public should bless BJP candidates Shri Nirbhay Kumar Shahabadi, Smt Muniya Devi and Dumri NDA Candidate Smt Yashoda Devi and ensure a ‘Lotus/NDA’ government under the leadership of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji in Jharkhand.
