SALIENT POINTS OF THE SPEECH OF THE UNION HOME AND COOPERATION MINISTER AND SENIOR BHARATIYA JANATA PARTY LEADER SHRI AMIT SHAH JI GIVEN TODAY WHILE ADDRESSING MASSIVE VIJAY SANKALP RALLIES AT UNAKOTI AND SIPAHIJALA DISTRICTS IN TRIPURA

The alliance between the Congress party, the Communists and Tipra Motha in Tripura is "triple trouble" for the state. I. Tripura on one hand we have the triple trouble alliance while on the other hand there is the double engine for growth and development. The people of Tripura have decided that they need the double engine government in the state to bolster growth, development and progress of the state and they do not need the triple trouble government.

By having an alliance with the Congress party, the Communists have already declared that they are badly losing the assembly elections in Tripura because they know that they alone cannot contest and won elections against the Bharatiya Janata Party.

It is futile to talk about the Congress party. The Congress party has formed an alliance with the same Communists who had killed their thousands of workers. The Congress party should feel ashamed for it. They have even made pawns of the Tipra Motha group.

The Congress party, the Communists and Tipra Motha -- they all are same. They all are corrupt and have nothing to do with the development and progress of Tripura. Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has given the mantra of HIRA for the development, growth and progress of the entire Northeast -- where HIRA stands for Highways, Internet, Railways and Airports . Under the Bharatiya Janata Party government the economy of Tripura has grown at 13 per cent.

During the Congress party and the Communist regimes massive scams took place in Tripura. Chitfund valley, MNREGA, health, school funds and medicines are some scams that took place. It is the Bharatiya Janata Party government which ended corruption and lawlessness in Tripura and started growth and development in Tripura.

During the Communist party rule when the people of Tripura wanted anything, be it water, electricity, jobs, forest rights, ration card, they had to beg in front of Communist cadres. Tripura got freedom from this "cadre Raj" after 27 years when the people of the state elected the Bharatiya Janata Party government. I want to warn the people of Tripura that do not allow these cadre people to enter the government again, else all the ration and amenities meant for poor will be looted by the CPI-M cadre.

The Reds ruled Tripura for 27 years but it did nothing for the welfare and empowerment of our Tribal brothers and sisters. But now when they are out of power, they are doing politics of falsehood and have come with a Tribal chief minister face. By these fake tactics the Communists will never be able to get the votes of Tribals.

The vote for the Congress party means vote for the Communists, and vote for Motha means vote to defeat the Bharatiya Janata Party to form the Communist government. The Congress party, the Communists and the Motha once again want to bring jungle raj in Tripura.

Manik Sarkar ji, you should present your report card before the people of Tripura and you should tell the people of the state that what you and your government did in 27 years for the state. This time your party has not even made you the face of Chief Minister.

During the Bharatiya Janata Party government there has been a 30 per cent decline in the cases of murders, rapes and abduction. Similarly, in the past 5 years our government has improved the conviction rate in crime cases by 10 per cent. In the past 5 years over 9000 cadres have surrendered, while our government rehabilitated over 37,000 Bru Riang families in the state.

In Tripura paddy and rice of farmers was never purchased in MSP , but under the Bharatiya Janata Party government rice was purchased in MSP price and Rs 243 crores was directly transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers of the state. Our government is soon going to include the Manipuri Vishnupriya language in the primary education in the state.

Whatever the Bharatiya Janata Party says, it delivers. In our Sankalp Patra we have promised that our government will once again give two free cooking gas cylinder every year to women in the state. By 2025 our government will give pucca houses to every poor family in Tripura. Our government will also give free scooty to all college going girls in the state. Similarly, Tripura will also have its second airport soon.

Our government will also increase the annual financial assistance paid to the farmers of Tripura under the Pradhanmantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna from Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 . A grand temple of Maa Tripur Sundari in the shape of lotus is also being constructed.

The Bharatiya Janata Party government will also provide annual financial assistance of Rs 6,000 to fishermen of Tripura. We have also taken the pledge to totally demolish the trade of drugs and contraband from the state. Our government will also provide 2 gunda or 1600 sq ft housing plots free of cost to all the workers and labourers working in tea estates in the next 5 years in the state.

The Bharatiya Janata Party government also started a pension scheme of Rs 2,000 for pradhan samajpatis of the Tribal society in the state, which will now be hiked to Rs 5,000. Our government will also construct a national highway connecting Khowai district headquarters on which over Rs 1078 crores will be spent. Our government will also reconstruct and renovate 58 " jal ikaiyan " in Unakoti.
