Salient points made by Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu, while seconding the Political Resolution

 

• Congress slogan was “Congress ke haath..Aam Admi ke saath’. They have forgotten that. At the fag end of their tenure in order to fulfill their promise, now they have changed the slogan “Congress ke haath..Aam Aadmi Party ke saath’.
• Policy paralysis, lack of leadership, downword growth, price rise, corruption, agrarian crisis, unemployment are the major issues before the nation.
• There is fiscal deficit, revenue deficit, trade deficit, current account deficit and finally it will leade to vote deficit and the Congress will not be able to reach even 3 digits.
• India is now having a weak and meek, worst and most corrupt government since independence. People are very angry. They want to throw this government out. I am sure the Congress will be out ... it will be total rout ...nobody need to have any doubt.
• Congress has become bankrupt without ideas – ideology. They opposed FDI while in Opposition and supported while in position. They said by passing nuclear bill power will flow to every house….not even a single MW produced anywhere .. why MW not even single Watt increased.
• UPA ke jamane me sirf GHOTALA hi GHOTALA. Bhoomi ke oopar GHOTALA - CWG, Patal me GHOTALA - Koyala, Hava me GHOTALA - Augusta Westland aur Aakash me bhi GHOTALA – 2G. Export ghotala, Import Ghotala, Sugar, Wheat, Fertilizer, Rice ghotala. Ghotale hi Ghotale!
• Prices are sky rocketing. People are weeping and government is sleeping.
• Who is the alternative? Some people are talking about 3rd front. It is tried and failed experiment. It is a mirage. National Front becme a Notional Front. United Front became a Divided Front. Third Front was always in a distant 3rd position.
• Regional parties themselves cannot be an alternative at the Centre and only a nationlist leader and nationlist party can lead the nation.
• These Third Front parties 3-point programme:-
  • Morning Talk out
  • Afternoon Walkout
  • Late evening bail out the UPA.

These parties are equally guilty and dangerous along with Congress.

• Let us see the reality. SP and BSP cannot go together. DMK and AIADMK cannot go together. TDP and YSRCP cannot go together. TMC and Left parties cannot go together. JD(U) and RJD will not go together. Then where is the 3rd Front? It is only a mirage (mriga marichika).
• Some of the people in the media are not able to digest BJP’s re-emergence. They talk of 3rd front alternative and somebody talks of AAP alternative.
• Now, every party says that their leader is best suited for PM post. But people have made up their mind that Modi will be their PM.

TINA factor

• Why Modi? Because people feel he has 3D – Decisive, Dynamic and Development oriented. 3-in-1. North or South, East or West or North East and the mood is one and the same. We have to channelise it.
• They are talking of snooping and I am sure it will end with Congress weeping.
• The only alternative is the BJP. We have leader and also have the cadre. We are united .. they are divided. We are looking forward…they are looking backward and will make the situation further aukward.
• Selling tea is more honourable than selling the country’s interests.
• We have tested, trusted and successful leadership …. They have tested, rusted and failed leadership.
• Why no projection? Fear of rejection!! Let Congress answer.
• We are confident…they are diffident.
• We are for a mission..they are for commission.
• We have vision and they are in illusion.
• We say nation fist…they say family fist.
• We say dynasty is nasty…Congressmen say it is tasty.
• We believe in Rashtravad.. they believe in Parivarvad.
• We believe in Nationalism…They believe in Communalism.
• We are hard on terrorists… they are hard on nationalists.
• We believe in democracy… they believe in hypocracy.
• We say Ram...Ram…Ram. They say scam…scam…scam.
• 10 years of UPA rule is not Mana-mohanam but Sarvanashanam.
• NDA – National Development Alliance – UPA – Ulta Pulta Alliance
• UPA first becme DPA .. now it has become NPA
• In this government, PM presides, earlier Madam used to decide, now nobody decides. PM proposes…Rahul disposes.
• NDA Mantra – ‘Consensus’….. UPA – ‘No consult only Insult opposition and even allies’
• We believe in National Unity…. They believe in minority
• Irrespective of caste, creed, sex, region, religion India is one, One Nation, One Policy. They believe in minority – majority divide.
• Congress believes in words for the poor deeds for the rich (Pedalaku maatalu – Dhanikulaku mootalu). In the last ten years, they gave 30 lakh crores concessions to the rich.

Mohammad-bin-Tughlak style

• First 6 cylinders, again 9 cylinders and now, just before elections, 12 cylinders and take credit. Who is responsible for footing the ration on 6 cylinders. Are we living in Mohd-bin-Tughlak rule? Is it the way to deal with aam aadmi and is it a sound economic policy? Acting in haste – repenting in leisure.
• During our regime – highest growth and lowest inflation. Now it is the reverse – highest inflation and lowest growth.
• During our regime rupee was strong .. now the saying is Dollor on accelerator and Rupee on ventilator.
• They have ruled and ruined the country in the last 50 years. From Delhi to Galli, from Panchayat to Parliament, Municipality to Mukhya Mantri power was intheir hands. 50 saal ek hi party ne raj kiya…40 saal ek hi parivar ne raj kiya.
• See NDA – Six years Swarna Yuga – Connectivity Revolutions - air connectivity, rail connectivity, road connectivity, rural connectivity, port connectivity, airport connectivity, telecom connectivity, television connectivity..what not.
• They praised Anna to the hilt. When he became unpliable, they called him corrupt from head to toe and arrested him and sent to Tihar Jail. They welcomed Baba Ramdev. Five Cabinet Ministers, including the present President of India, gave red carpet welcome and called him God. When they realized he was speaking truth they started calling him deamon. They registered cases against him.
• CBI enquring against Khemka IAS for being honest.
• They are rattled and desperate from the day Sri Narendra Modi’s name was declared as BJP’s PM Nominee. That is why they are hell bent denigrating him like others. They try and use CBI which has acquired the nickname of ‘Congress Bureau of Investigation’.
• The recent electoral outcome was a slap on the Congress’s face. Even in post emergency period, Congress bagged 10 seats in Delhi , now it got only 8. It got 41 in Rajasthan then and now just 21. In MP too, it was 84 then and now at 58.
• Direct Benefit Transfer did not benefit Congress in recent polls. Game changer became regime changer. Congress lost 137 out of the 154 Assembly segments where the scheme is being implemented.
• Aadhar will not enhance their janadhar and, in the end, they become niraadhar like in the four states.
• Food security will not get their vote security. Vote bank politics will not fill their vote bank.
• Dalits are angry. In Rajasthan, out of 32 SC seats, it failed even to win a single seat! In Madhya Pradesh, out of 35 SC seats BJP won 28. Out of 9 SC seats in Delhi Congress won only one seat. In all, BJP won 69 out of 79 SC seats in these three states.
• All the minority candidates of the Congress in Rajasthan lost. BJP achieved 50% success.
• Tribals have snubbed the Congress. In Rajasthan, of the 25 ST seats, BJP won 18 and Congress just 4! In Madhya Pradesh, BJP won 31 out of 45 ST seats.
• All this shows that the Dalits, Adivasis and Minorities are all fed up with the Congress and are waiting to teach them a lesson.

The two-pronged strategy

• Let us go to the people with confidence. Hold your head high. Project the performance of the Vajpayee led NDA and the growth stories of Gujarat, MP, Chhattisgarh and Goa and compare them with the disastrous performance of the UPA. Talk about our leadership. Explain the qualities of our leaders. Explain the developments under NDA at the Centre and in BJP ruled States. Expose the betrayal of UPA and Congress ruled State governments.
• NaMo ke netrutv me, Atalji ke aasheervad se, Advaniji ke maargdarshan me, Rajnathji saaradhme aatma vishwas ke saath aage bado.
• South should not lag behind. It must become part of the new government so that they become beneficiaries of development. For that you need more seats fropm South. Explain to the people. People need to give a decisive mandate. Their vote should not be wasted.
• Yeddyuruppa is back… Karnataka is back to our fold. We will perform better in Karnataka. I am confident of the same even in AP, be it Telangana or be it Seemandhra region. Even in Tamil Nadu lotus is blooming. Kerala will open the account. But the workers in the south should walk an extra mile to achieve the desired results.
