The National President of BJP Shri Amit Shah today addressed a press conference at Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow and released BJP’s five year plan for UP named ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra’. On this occasion, BJP National Vice-president & UP’s BJP state incharge Shri Om Mathur, BJP National Vice-president Shri Dinesh Sharma, UP’s BJP state President Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, Central Ministers Shri Shri Kalraj Mishra & Shri Manoj Sinha, Yogi Adityanath, Shri Swami Prasad Maurya and Shri Kaushal Kishore were present on the stage.
The BJP National President said that elections are going to be held in the largest state of India, UP. He said that in the last one year, the BJP workers went to every nook and corner and connected with people of the state. Based on this, I can say with belief that BJP will form the government in UP with two-third majority. He said that we have adopted multi-dimensional parliamentary form, for strengthening of this, elections are important. If we are to strengthen the democracy, then we have to include the aspirations of the common people. He further added that this is the reason that while drafting the ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra’ for UP, we wanted to know the aspirations of the common people of the state and what they expect from the government. He said that We connected with crores of people in UP, through Akanksha Peti, UP ke Mann ki Baat and more than 5000 small and big public meetings, we obtained opinion of more than 30 lakh people constituting farmers, labourers, unemployed, ,Dalits and downtrodden and prepared ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra’ of UP. He said that our ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra’ is a reflection of our dedication towards the state of UP. We have divided the ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patr’ into nine sankalps, with each sankalpa centered around the sole purpose of the welfare state. Shri Shah further added that BJP is committed for the development of UP on the principles of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya’s ‘Antyodaya’ and PM Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’. He further said that our aim is to eradicate goonda raj and corruption from the state of UP and ensure transparency and fearlessness in UP. Shri Shah said that we aim to make UP a state where each citizen is treated with a common law, along with basic facilities like employment, food, housing, clean water, roads, education and health for everyone with ease.
Shri Shah said that the biggest state of the country is lagging behind in the race of development. He said that a time period of five years is big enough for a state to develop, but the Akhilesh government in these five years has not done any development in the state. He said that if BJP comes to power in UP, then we will make it a developed state from the current BIMARU state in five years. He said that we have already done this. He said that Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhatisgarh have given us chance, and we have brought them out from the list of BIMARU states. In Bihar also, we have done many possible work as per the opportunity we have got. He appealed to the people of UP that give us one chance, we will bring the state of UP from the list of BIMARU states.
BJP National President said that PM Shri Narendra Modi is MP from UP only. He is fully committed towards the development of the state. He has started development schemes after every 15 days, but these schemes do not reach to the people of UP. He said that the government of Akhilesh Yadav in UP does not let percolate the programmes and schemes run by the Central Government. He further added that till the time a development-led government does not come in Lucknow, the state will not tread the path of progress.
Shri Shah said that the law and order situation in UP is the most worrisome one, women are unsafe, the land of the poor is forcibly snatched by the anti-social elements, while communal tension and worse law and order are making people migrate from the state, and mining and land mafia are active in the entire state. He said that the issue of migration from the state or registering of FIR in the police stations – if the government keeps on moving on the path of appeasement, then people will not get justice. He said that we will bring change in the state of UP. He said that SP-BSP, BSP-SP governments have destroyed the state for last 15 years. Therefore we in our Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra have given the utmost priority to the wishes and aspirations of the people. He said that we firmly believe that the aggressive steps taken by the central government led by Shri Narendra Modi of BJP against black money will be fully supported by the people.
The BJP National President said that the politics of caste as well as the politics of family patronage is going to an end. A new era of ‘politic of performance’ is going to start. He said that the BJP never did the politics of caste and family and always did the politics of principals and development. He added that one who performs the public work will rule. He said that for making UP a developed state, we have taken a vow; we will include every section of the society and work for development. He said that till the time UP does not grow, and till the time it does not see a double digit growth, the development of the country is not possible. Further Shri Shah said that for the development of the country, it is essential that the development of UP takes place. He said that after winning more than 300 seats, we will bring the strongest government in UP after Independence. He said that we have divided the ‘Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra’ into nine sankalps, with each sankalp focused around the sole purpose of the welfare of the state.
