BJP National President Shri Amit Shah held a press conference in Lucknow, capital of Uttar Pradesh and the bestowed faith on "Public Welfare Resolution Document" and thanked people for voting in BJP’s Favour with warmth in first phase of election.
BJP President said, after gathering the feedback from tomorrow till today afternoon the BJP workers present in ground and other leaders I want to tell that, BJP will win more than 50 seats in the first phase and combined first phase. He said that for the second phase also we are prepared and I can say that in the second phase BJP will get more than 90 seats for sure. He said that, our main competition in the first phase and the second phase election is from BSP.
Shri Shah said that, our manifesto and ‘People welfare resolution document’ for UP and mentioned resolutions in it have been warmly welcomed by the voters in Uttar Pradesh. He said that, Our resolve for farmers, especially the loan waiver for the small and marginal farmers, and arranging for them to provide interest-free loans, a total ban on slaughter houses and scientific system of payment within 14 days for sugarcane farmers resolution have been appreciated by the people of Uttar Pradesh.
He said that formation of Anti Romeo Squad for the safety of girl students in college, For stopping the migration from west and formation of anti migration squad, free education for students till graduation, ending the interview for 3rd and 4th grade and providing employment based on merit all these resolve have been revered by many people. He said that, Illegal occupation on the lands of the poor to remove the anti-land mafia squad to help people resolution is supported by people, as well as the creation of jobs for the establishing 40 new dairy, 25 medical colleges and 80 engineering colleges to be established mentioned in the resolution is also favourite of many young people. He said that, voters have shown there leaning towards BJP clearly and BJP is committed to fulfil the hopes and aspiration of every one.
BJP president said that, the 2017 assembly elections of Uttar Pradesh are very important for the country. He said that the alliance between the SP and the Congress at the last moment is ideologically an unholy alliance. Taking a dig at Akhilesh Yadav, he said that, before making an alliance with the congress the Akhilesh ji could have asked the view of congress about Dr Ram MAnohar Lohia then the SP workers would have been satisfied. He said that, Sunk neck deep in corruption and corrupt governance both parties and wrapped in corruption and such government running between the parties, the alliance is to hide their failures.
Shri Shah said during the last five years, the state has been suffering, everyday there are incidents of murder, rape, kidnapping, extortion and robbery incidents have plagued the people of UP. He said that in the last five years neither youth got employment, not farmers being paid their dues nor was the purchase of paddy from farmers. The SP and the Congress to cover up its failures did alliance in the last minute. He said that during the last five years if there was any state where maximum riots took place it was UP. He said that the government set up which was built by the SP while indulging in appeasement, even the people of UP are stricken. He said the people of Uttar Pradesh want development, wants governance.
The BJP president said that, the SP government in UP which often talks of development has failed to show development anywhere in the state. He said that even the two-three work that the SP government did in that too there are big corruption that the only reason people sees them with an image of corruption. He said that after the announcement of elections there have been many questions of the people with regard to law and order be it murder of businessman in Meerut, or the Sahu incident at Lucknow or murder of doctor in Allahbad, or yesterday murder at Bijnor. He said that after the announcement of election in Uttar Pradesh people are getting killed every day, and so the people of the state is upset and rallied in favor of the BJP.
Shri Shah said that the people of Uttar Pradesh it is not able to understand how SP got changed Gayatri Prajapati is in SP, Shivpal ji is also contesting on Samajwadi Party symbol. He said that Whether providing the government jobs or in the passing of benefits of the government schemes, the SP government everywhere they did on the basis of religion and caste by doing the politics of appeasement. On the other hand, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi led BJP government at centre during two and half years has initiated many schemes for villages, poor, farmers, dalit, downtrodden, youths and women and made efforts to keep the model of all inclusive development. He got good success in it. He said that, after even two and half years Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has kept the reputation of him and BJP to be popular, this shows that people are fully satisfied with the government given by Shri Narendra Modi.
Launching a strike on Akhilesh Yadav BJP President said that Akhilesh ji asks when will the good days come in UP, being at the helm of affairs for 5 years running the government if Akhilesh himself says that good days have not come then accept that you failed to bring good days in UP. He said that, Akhilesh ji, on March 11, after you are the overthrow and the government of Bharatiya Janata Party will come the beginning of good days in UP will start. He said that, this alliance reflects the fact that the Akhilesh government has accepted defeat even before the election. If Akhilesh ji had the confidence in his victory of the Samajwadi Party, he never could have cut tickets of more than 100 SP workers and given it to the Congress. He said that this is not an eternal collaboration but just to be safe from defeat this is a political decision which is ideologically not good and not good for the development of UP.
Shri Shah said, I believe that the people of Uttar Pradesh in the next phase too will support BJP in same spirit. Appealing to the youths of Uttar Pradesh, he said that a make a corruption-free government in the state this time based on trust of "development for all, with all ' which is free from caste and the politics of appeasement and this Government can be given by BJP in Uttar Pradesh.
