The people of Himachal Pradesh are all set to change the "electoral tradition" of the state. Under the leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji the Bharatiya Janata Party is also all set to create a new electoral tradition in Himachal Pradesh by ensuring massive victory of the party in the state. The historic victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party is certain in Himachal Pradesh.

This election in Himachal Pradesh is the election of development and rights of the people of the state. This election is not about "parla" or "varla" or between you and me, this election is the election of the future of Himachal Pradesh.

The leadership of the Congress party can only talk about corruption and scams, and not about development and growth. The Bharatiya Janata Party government is all about mission of development, growth and progress, whereas the Congress party government means commission and corruption. And that is the reason behind the Congress party never returning to power in states where it is rejected by the people of that state. That is why I appeal to the people of Himachal Pradesh not to let the Congress return in the state which will mean total collapse of good governance and development.

Even before the elections were over in Himachal Pradesh, the Aam Aadmi Party has surrendered in the state because the people of Himachal Pradesh have become well aware about the reality of the Aam Aadmi Party. Under the Mukhyamantri Shagun Yojana the financial aid given to girls of the BPL families will be increased from Rs 31,000 to Rs 51,000. The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Himachal Pradesh will also provide bicycles to all girl students studying in class sixth to class eighth free of cost, while girls enrolled in high education will be given scooty.

The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Himachal Pradesh will also provide monetary aid of Rs 25,000 to all pregnant women in order to ensure good health of pregnant women and their new born babies.

The Bharatiya Janata Party will also start a new Devi Annapurna Yojna under which women belonging to poor families will be provided 3 free cooking gas cylinders every year free of cost. Similarly top 5000 girl students who pass class 12 from government schools will be given a monthly scholarship of Rs 2500 for their graduation studies.

The Bharatiya Janata Party government will implement Common Civil Code in the state. We will abolish the illegal business of drugs and contraband from the state in next five years. Apart from continuing with the Pradhanmantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna for our farmers, the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Himachal Pradesh will also give separately Rs 3,000 per year to small farmers in the state.

In the next five years the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Himachal Pradesh will open 5 new medical colleges in the state. Our government will institute a high level probe into the corruption and fraud in properties belonging to the Waqf Board in the state. GST on the packaging materials used by the apple producers in the state will be capped at 12% and any additional burden will be taken by the state government.

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has special affection and love for Himachal Pradesh. During the G-20 Conference that will be held in India, Shri Narendra Modi ji has been holding discussions on giving the arts and crafts items of Himachal Pradesh as gifts to all the top world leaders who will coming to India.

Though Delhi might be far away from this place, but for our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji this place and entire Himachal Pradesh is very close to his heart. When Shri Narendra Modi ji was in Chamba a few months back, a Tribal woman had presented him a traditional dress. After this when our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has visited the holy Baba Kedar , he had worn that traditional dress, which shows his special love and affection for Himachal Pradesh.

Our Honourable Prime Minister late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji has given special category status to Himachal Pradesh, but immediately after forming its government the Congress party had withdrawn the special status to the state. Immediately after forming the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Centre, our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji restored the special category status to Himachal Pradesh without even the state government asking for it.

The people of Himachal Pradesh have still not forgotten how the Congress party government at the Centre had withdrawn the industrial package given to the state by the then Honourable Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji. The Congress party has never done justice with the people of Himachal Pradesh, it has in fact betrayed and cheated the people of Himachal Pradesh.
