BJP National President Shri JP Nadda chaired review meeting with BJP State Office Bearers and MPs of West Bengal, Odisha, Sikkim and Andaman on Yaas Cyclone via video conferencing

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji today held a review meeting with BJP office bearers, party MPs and MLAs of West Bengal, Odisha, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands in view of cyclone 'Yaas' where he took stock of the situation and discussed relief and rescue operations planned by the party.

 

At the meeting Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji said there is yet another crisis situation that has come before us in the form of cyclone 'Yaas'. It has always been the endeavour of the Bharatiya Janata Party to provide timely help to the affected people and help and cooperate with the administration at the time of natural disasters and difficult scenarios so that there is minimum damage and affected people can be provided relief without any delay. Shri Nadda said the Bharatiya Janata Party leaders and workers should assist the civil administration so that people who to be hit by cyclone 'Yaas' can be taken to safer places in West Bengal, Odisha, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The Bharatiya Janata Party workers should also start relief and rescue operations in these states.

 

The Honourable Bharatiya Janata Party National President said in the cyclone 'Yaas' affected states there should be no delay in the formation of coordination committees at the state and district levels. It is also very important that these coordination committees should constantly remain in touch with the NDRF, State Disaster Management teams and local administration so that they can immediately provide relief and help to cyclone affected people. Our coordination committees should also chalk out a comprehensive plan to carry out relief and rescue operations in the cyclone affected states in a very effective and coordinated manner.

 

Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji urged the party MPs, MLAs and party office bearers that the party's coordination committees under our 'Sewa Hi Sangathan Abhiyaan' should immediately provide ration, tarpaulins, medicines and other relief materials to all the people affected by cyclone 'Yaas' in these states. All the Party MPs , MLAs and office bearers should always remain in touch with the coordination committees undertaking rescue and relief operations in these states. Shri Nadda said the Bharatiya Janata Party workers should keep Covid protocols and guidelines in mind while carrying out relief and rescue operations and assisting and helping local administration in cyclone affected states. He asked all the Bharatiya Janata Party MPs and MLAs to immediately get in touch with the party's Zila Parishad, Panchayat, BDC and other local bodies representatives so that there is no gap in carrying out relief and rescue operations and cyclone affected people can be provided help and assistance in the realtime basis.

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President said the party leaders and workers should also make preparations for providing medical aid and relief to the people in the states affected by cyclone 'Yaas'. The party workers should co-operate and collaborate with the medical and health authorities in the cyclone affected states to provide relief and succour to people. We should immediately all make preparations to carry out relief and rescue operations so that there no no delay or logistical issues at the time of emergency and everything is carried out in a smooth and effective manner.
