The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda expressed deep grief at the Condolence Meeting organized on the untimely and tragic demise of Manipur BJP State President Shri S. Tikendra Singh
A condolence meeting was organised today to condole the untimely death of BJP Manipur State President Shri Tikendra Singh ji in Manipur. Manipur Chief Minister Shri N Biren Singh, Smt Shanti Devi, the wife of the departed leader, and several other key political personalities were present at the condolence meeting. The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji joined the condolence meeting virtually through video conference. BJP General Secretary (Organisation) for the North East Shri Ajay Jamwal and BJP Manipur State Incharge Dr Sambit Patra also virtually attended the condolence meeting.
Speaking at the condolence meeting Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji said that Shri Tikendra Singh ji’s demise has come as a huge setback to all of us. His death is a matter of great sorrow. It is not just a setback and loss for the BJP but a personal loss to me. Shri Tikendra Singh ji was a highly committed, dedicated and disciplined leader of the party who was deeply committed towards the wellbeing of people. Every person in Manipur was deeply in love and affection for the departed soul.
The BJP National President also said a few days back Manipur Chief Minister Shri N Biren Singh ji, Shri Ajay Jamwal ji and Dr Sambit Patra had informed him about Shri Tikendra Singh ji getting sick due to Corona. I had immediately directed giving the best possible medical treatment to Shri Tikendra Singh ji. Manipur Chief Minister Shri N Biren Singh ji and all of us tried our best and worked on war footing to save Shri Tikendra Singh ji, but fate had something else in store for the departed leader. Shri Tikendra Singh ji was undoubtedly a man with a noble heart and a dedicated social worker. He always worked for strengthening the BJP and also worked tirelessly for the welfare of the common man.
Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji said our greatest tribute to Shri Tikendra Singh ji would be that we should all take inspiration from his life and devote and rededicate ourselves towards the betterment of society and strengthening the ideology of BJP. We should also learn from the life of Shri Tikendra Singh ji and work with honesty and dedication to help the common man. We all in the BJP have to take forward the work done by Shri Tikendra Singh ji and fulfil his dreams of taking the party to greater heights.
In this time of grief and sorrow I and on behalf of all the BJP leaders and workers pray to God to give strength to the family of Shri Tikendra Singh ji to bear this irreparable loss. I offer my deep condolences and sorrow over this loss. Om Shanti!
