SEVERAL SENIOR LEADERS AND PROMINENT PERSONALITIES OF PUNJAB TODAY JOINED THE BHARATIYA JANATA PARTY AT A FUNCTION HELD AT THE PARTY HEADQUARTERS

 

Several prominent personalities and senior political leaders from Punjab today joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in presence of Union Minister Shri Gajender Singh Shekhawat, BJP National General Secretary and incharge of Punjab Shri Dushyant Gautam and BJP National General Secretary Shri Tarun Chugh. They included former National General Secretary of Shiromani Akali Dal Women Wing and ex Chairperson of the District Development Board Smt Amanjot Kaur Ramuwalia, former National Secretary (Organisation) of former Sarpanch Shri S Gurpreet Singh Shahpur, former Vice President of the Shiromani Akali Dal Shri Chand Singh Chatta, former National Vice President of Shiromani Akali Dal Scheduled Caste wing Shri Pritam Singh, former Gurdaspur district president of Shiromani Akali Dal and ex Zila Parishad member Shri Baljinder Singh Dakoha and former Doordarshan presenter, national motivational speaker and social worker Shri Chetan Mohan Joshi.

 

Speaking on the occasion Union Minister Shri Gajender Singh Shekhawat said the entire Bharatiya Janata Party heartily welcomes all the senior leaders and prominent personalities who joined the party today. The joining of political leaders and prominent personalities clearly reflects which way the wind is blowing in Punjab today. He charged some Opposition parties of misleading the farmers and trying to incite violence and bloodshed to capture power in Punjab. He said every worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party wishes and work to make Punjab a developed and prosperous state and the BJP will continue to strive and work towards making Punjab a strong and developed State . We will all work together unitedly to ensure that the Bharatiya Janata Party comes to power in Punjab so that the state's transformation could take place under the guidance and leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary and Punjab incharge Shri Dushyant Gautam also welcomed all those who joined the party today and said the manner in which opposition parties are inciting the farmers agitation by flouting our Constitution and by trampling our democracy it is very unfortunate and highly condemnable. The people of the country specially of Punjab are very unhappy and disappointed over this. They all want peace and prosperity and they are looking towards our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji for this with high hopes and anticipation. He also said the Bharatiya Janata Party family is growing very fast in Punjab and very soon more senior leaders and prominent personalities will join the party and make the BJP even more stronger in Punjab.

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Shri Tarun Chugh said he welcomes all the prominent personalities who have joined the BJP today on the auspicious occasion of the Eight Guru Harkrishan Sahib ji. He said the newly inducted leaders would promote the vision and works of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji who belives in 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas' and people of Punjab are also looking towards the Bharatiya Janata Party to bring about positive changes in the state. He said the entire nation including people of Punjab strongly believes that fast growth and development is possible under the leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. In this direction some prominent personalities of Punjab today joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and I heartily welcome them in the party.

 

Speaking on the occasion the leaders who joined the BJP said they are committed to join the journey of growth and development being undertaken by the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and they would work hard to make Punjab also  the part of this journey and make the state prosperous and developed. In India today the Bharatiya Janata Party is the only political party which works for the growth and upliftment of alll sections of the society including villagers, poor, farmers, Dalits, deprived and backward people. They said they would work hard to strengthen the Bharatiya Janata Party in Punjab and ensure that the party emerges victorious in the forthcoming assembly elections.
