Kerala's veteran politician and Seven-time MLA Shri PC George, has aligned himself with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp' and merged his party, Kerala Janapaksham (Secular), with the Bharatiya Janata Party at the national headquarters in New Delhi. The event unfolded in the presence of BJP Rajya Sabha MP and Kerala in-charge, Shri Prakash Javadekar, Union Ministers Shri V. Muraleedharan and Shri Rajiv Chandrashekhar, along with BJP General Secretary Shri Radha Mohan Agarwal.

Upon the merger of Shri PC George-led Kerala Janapaksham (Secular) into the Bharatiya Janata Party,  Shri Anil Antony stated that on this auspicious day, the Kerala Janapaksham, under the leadership of Shri PC George, is merging with the Bharatiya Janata Party, expressing full confidence in Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of transforming India into ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. Additionally, Shri Antony asserted that today signifies the growing influence of the BJP in Kerala. Shri P.C. George, a seven-time MLA with UDF, LDF, and as an independent candidate, is a stalwart of Kerala politics. He is also a significant member of the Roman Catholic community in Kerala. Shri Anil Antony expressed that the merger of Kerala Janapaksham marks the start of a significant journey in Kerala, enabling the BJP to expand and contribute actively to the Prime Minister's vision of propelling India towards development.

During the event, Union Minister Shri V. Muraleedharan stated that under the leadership of Shri PC George, the Kerala Janapaksham (Secular) is merging with the BJP, in the presence of Shri Shawn George and Shri George Joseph. Additionally, Shri Muraleedharan mentioned that Shri PC George has extensive leadership experience in political activities and parliamentary proceedings in the Kerala Assembly. Shri Muraleedharan also noted that even in Kerala, which is always considered a difficult terrain for the BJP, more people are now becoming convinced that the BJP is a stable government, the only government capable of bringing growth to the nation under the leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Shri V Muraleedharan further highlighted that Shri PC George has been a relentless fighter against corruption and nepotism. Shri Muraleedharan asserted that the Congress party was aligning with the communist government of Kerala, accusing them of having a secret alliance instead of functioning as the opposition. Shri Muraleedharan mentioned that malicious propaganda of the Kerala government, which has been nurturing the idea that the BJP is anti-minority, will be exposed with the joining of Shri PC George in the party.

 

 

BJP Rajya Sabha MP and Kerala Incharge Shri Prakash Javadekar stated that a massive rally will take place in Kerala, along with the inaugural merger meeting. He also added that it's just the beginning, more of it is coming.  In 2019, Some people of Kerala used to believe that Rahul Gandhi will become the Prime Minister but today irrespective of any party or any community people strongly believe that Shri Narendra will be the PM of India in the upcoming elections and that’s a change. He added Congress has lost its credibility. The CPM and LDF government now revolves solely around corruption, crime, liquor, lottery, and drugs. He termed the UDF as confusion and contradiction. Citizens of Kerala have seen how PM Shri Narendra Modi has helped kerala, millions and millions of people have been helped under PM Shri Narendra Modi’s Scheme and therefore Shri PC George and the party were discussing it from the last two-three months and Shri PC George was eager.

Acknowledging the occasion, Shri Javadekar highlighted Shri PC George's charismatic speaking skills and recognized him as a prominent Catholic leader. Extending a warm welcome, he expressed a desire for not only Shri PC George but also others to consider joining BJP in the near future. The optimism remained strong, with a projected goal of securing at least 5 seats in Kerala and making a substantial impact in the state's political landscape through electoral success.

Shri PC George thanked the party and all leaders present on the stage. He stated that Kerala is in huge debt, amounting to over 4 lakh crore rupees. Despite the LDF and UDF governing Kerala alternately, both parties at the center are collaborating to impede the growth of BJP in Kerala, led by Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. His government has been performing very well across the country. LDF and UDF are on the same page to stop the growth of the state. The people of Kerala have accepted that Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is the most popular leader across the country. The public of the state has clearly understood and sees it very unfortunate that Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is not treated well by both fronts in Kerala.

Shri PC George stated that the Kerala Governor Shri Arif Mohammed is being attacked by goons led by the communist party and CM Pinarayi Vijayan. Such actions are unacceptable in a democracy. There is a significant agricultural crisis across the state, resulting in farmers committing suicide. Now, only the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi can address the issue by intervening. While addressing the Journalist, He informed the journalist that he represents the Central Tribal core region and in this region the rubber farmers are facing a huge crisis and debt. Without MSP they are struggling to survive. Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Government’s intervention is absolutely required for them to take out debt. Shri PC George stated that he has already requested the central government for the support and the central government is very supportive to the requests. Furthermore, Shri PC George stated that given the prevailing conditions, as a public servant, he had no other choice but to join Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in transforming the state. He expressed confidence that in the upcoming election, the BJP will win at least 5 Lok Sabha seats, and in the assembly elections of 2026, the BJP will be in a direct fight with both CPM and INC. The Bharatiya Janata Party will strive towards leadership in the state, and in the coming years, the BJP will emerge as a leading political player in Kerala.
