If ever any government has worked so much for the development of any state than it is only the Modi government. ***** Modi government gave Karnataka Rs 2,19,000 crore for development and another Rs 88,000 crore for various schemes but the money did not reach the public due to corrupt practices of Siddaramaiah. ***** If ever any government has failed to implement schemes for people than it is the Congress’ Siddaramaiah government. ***** For welfare of farmers, Modi government increased the Minimum Support Price for farmers crops to 1.5 times. BJP National President Shri Amit Shah on Sunday addressed a huge public rally in Hiriyuru Karnataka and held a road show in Tumkur, saying that Congress has committed a sin of depriving people of the state from development, and has made the state suffer due to its corrupt practices.
Shri Shah asked the public if they wanted a committed government in the state or a government involved in taking commission.
The BJP President said that Siddaramaiah government in the last four years has compelled over 3,700 farmers to commit suicide in the state. There has been no improvement in the condition of farmers and the Siddaramaiah government has made no attempt to ameliorate the situation.
“It is the Siddaramaiah government which is responsible for suicides of the farmers. Infact, there is no regret in the face of Siddaramaiah despite the deaths of the farmers,” said Shri Shah said.
Shri Shah highlighted the recent decisions taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi taken in favour of the farmers. He said: “Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a bid to improve the condition of farmers in the state has announced to increase the Minimum Support Price by 1.5 times. This initiative will double the income of the farmers and is a revolutionary step in the direction.”
Shri Shah also said that the states such as Maharastra also had huge deaths of farmers during the congress rule. However, ever since the BJP has come to power the deaths of farmers has declined by 30 %.
Apart from this, the Modi government has also taken initiative to improve the health of poor in the country by announcing health insurance worth Rs 5 lakh for 10 crore families in the country, precisely 50 crore individuals. This is a historic decision in the direction of public health.
“If ever any government has worked so much for the development of Karnataka than it is only the BJP’s Modi government. During the Congress’ UPA government, the 13th Finance Commission in the form of central share gave Karnataka only Rs 88,583 crore while the 14th Finance Commission during Modi government gave Rs 2,19,506 crore to the state which is 2.5 times more than the previous allocation of the Congress,” said Shri Shah.
Apart from this Rs 39,400 crore for Mudra Yojana, Rs 960 crore for Smart City, Rs 4,953 crore for Amrit Mission, Rs 204 crore for the Swachha Bharat Mission, Rs 239 crore for the Urban Transportation, Rs 405 crore for Prime Minister’s Irrigation Yojana, Rs 290 crore for PM’s Awas Yojana, Rs 2,617 crore for Bengaluru Metro, Rs 2,197 crore for Railways and for establishment for roads Rs 27,482 crore has been funded to the state. However, the money that is being sent to the state for development has not reached the public due to the corrupt practices of Siddaramaiah.
During the address, Shri Shah also questioned Siddaramaiah about the wrist watch worth Rs 40 lakh that he wears.
“Friends, do you know that Siddaramaiah wears watch worth Rs 40 lakh. I want to ask who has gifted him watch worth Rs 40 lakh and why was it gifted to him,” said Shri Shah.
Shri Shah during his address also said that during the tenure of Siddaramaiah’s government, a total of 24 BJP &RSS workers have been murdered while there has been no action against the culprits.
Warning the Siddaramaiah government, Shri Shah said that it doesn’t matter how much he(Siddaramaiah) protects the culprits.. once the BJP‘s Yeddyurappa government in the state all the culprits will be send behind the bars.
Congress is relying on Siddaramaiah to make the party win in Karnataka, but how can a person who is running away from his own constituency make his party win. Shri Shah said that Siddaramaiah is changing his seat as he was scared of the public.
Stating that Rahul Gandhi was demanding a report from Prime Minister Narendra Modi government of last four years, Shri Shah said that the entire country was demanding a report from the Congress on what it had done in the last four generations.
“Let me tell you that public won’t spare Siddaramaiah. He will also lose the elections from Badami and people will bless our candidate Sri Ramulu,” said Shri Shah.
The BJP President said that Congress has been doing politics of conspiracy. He urged people to vote for the BJP’s Yeddyurappa government so that Karnataka can be made the top developed states of the country.
