Salient points of speech of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi addressing a public meeting in Guntur (Andhra Pradesh)

The BJP government at the centre in committed towards the growth and development of Andhra Pradesh. I Assure you that our development agenda for Andhra Pradesh will not stop at any cost.

In 2014, when we came to power, we came out with a special package for Andhra Pradesh so that the state gets all the assistance that a state under special category gets. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had then also thanked the centre for the special package.

The NDA government at the centre has spared nothing in the last 55 months for the development of Andhra Pradesh. The only shortcoming has been that the ruling Telugu Desham Party (TDP) in the state has neither spent the money we gave for the betterment of the state, nor have they informed the citizens about it.

The Telugu Desam Party was unable to utilise the special package given by the NDA government at the centre and later took a u-turn over this.

Tomorrow, Chandrababu Naidu will be going to Delhi for a photo-op, there will be a big procession with him, but before criticising me on coming to Delhi, he should first inform the public about the money his state government has spent on the people.

I am thankful to the Telugu Desam Party for raising “Go back Modi” slogans against me. This means that I should go back and sit in Delhi and by saying this, they are showering their god wishes on me.

Chandrababu Naidu has promised a ‘sunrise’ in Andhra Pradesh, but he is now busy in the ‘rise’ of his ‘son’.

People who had left the country to live under smoke are now busy  in spreading false smoke across the country. The effect of this mass-adulteration has been so profound on Chandrababu Naidu, that he has forgotten about the development of the state and is busy with the competition of blaming and slamming me.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has reserved all the the foul words in a dictionary for Narendra Modi. Everyday he throws some new bad words at me. Does he have the right to sully the culture and tradition of Andhra Pradesh like this?

I am also surprised about what has happened to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister that he keeps reminding me that he is very senior to me. I say that you are senior to me, and hence we have spared no thought in showering respect on you.

You (Chandrababu Naidu) are senior in changing factions. You are senior in partnering and ditching with new Gathbandhan (political alliances). You are senior and the ones you demand today, you then tomorrow have no hesitation in partnering with them. You are senior in shattering the dreams of Andhra Pradesh.

Today the raw-adulteration club, of which the state chief minister has become a member, that club’s greed is centered on burning the lamp of its politics. But, whenever the chief minister will forget the work related to the development of the state and the benefit of its citizens, I, Narendra Modi, as the Pradhan Sewak will keep reminding him of his duties.

The Namdaar family of Delhi has always dis-respected the leaders from Andhra Pradesh and that is why NT Rama Rao had to form the Telugu Desham Party. During that time the political parties called NTR crooked and Chandrababu Naidu considers these parties as his friend.

I want to remind Chandrababu Naidu that our job is to collect money for the country and at the same time ensure that this money is spent on the betterment of the citizens.

The members of the mass-adulteration club are scared these days and they cannot sleep. Chandrababu Naidu is angry because your Chowkidar and the central government inquires about the money being spent by him. He is facing problems as he has to provide details of every penny that he is spending in the state.
