Press release issued by BJP National General Secretary and Maharashtra state in-charge Sushri Saroj Pandey BJP's on splendid success in Maharashtra civic polls

Over registering a commanding win of Bharatiya Janata Party over other parties, leading on top in Maharashtra civic polls, Sushri Saroj Pandey, the National General Secretary and in-charge of the state congratulated the BJP workers and party office bearers. She said, this is a historical win and it’s a win of development led policies and ideology of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’. Despite all the promises made by other political parties, the BJP wins in the Maharashtra local election, she stated that, this win is the result of Shri Narendra Modi’s able leadership, the successful trait of Shri Amit Shah ji for building the organization, Shri Devendra Fadnavis leadership and the state BJP leadership and the successful programmes meant for poor, downtrodden, dalits, and farmers run in the state, it’s their win.

Maharashtra state in-charge, Sushri Paney further said, I congratulate the workers for this glorious win and thank people of the state to keep believing in BJP. She Said that Maharashtra people were feeling cheated and betrayed due to the anti-poor and anti-development policies of Congress and NCP, people through this win has shown mirror to them. She said that this is a verdict against the malicious propaganda of the Smt Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi along with entire opposition, which were anti poor and anti development and negative accusations’, this verdict is of the people for them.

BJP general secretary said, Congress is engaging in negative politics and putting barriers in the economic growth and development so this is the verdict of people resentment and in future too people will keep responding in the same manner appropriately. She said that the Maharashtra people's verdict has given a stern response to all those parties who are opposing the Shri Narendra Modi drive against black money.

As per the available information, the election which was held on the 27th November there were total 3756 counsellor seats, out of which the results are out for 3298 seats BJP has secured 963 seats and have left the other parties far behind, emerging as the biggest party. Last time BJP was at third position with 298 seats only. The latest information suggests that BJP has won 53 seats out of 147 seats. BJP has done well in the Vidarbha along with West Maharashtra, Konkan, East Marathwada with good win.
