4-day-long BJYM’s SushasanYatra in Jammu Kashmir concludes on emphatic note at Katra, Jammu

 

New Delhi, June 07, 2022:Bharatiya Janata YuvaMorcha’s (BJYM’s) four-day-long SushasanYatra, under  dynamic leadership of BJYM National President and MP shTejasvi Surya was held in Jammu and Kashmir and successfully got concluded at Katra in Reasi district. The whole programme was planned by ShTejasvi Surya with an idea to connect the BJYM karyakartaswith the on ground situation and understand the good governance being done under Modi government in different states of the country.

The BJP state general secretary (Org.) Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Ashok Kaul was the chief guest at the concluding day function, while the BJYM National Media InchargeS.Amandeep Singh, Bharatiya Janata Party YuvaMorcha’s State President ArunPrabhat, were also present on the occasion.The Yatra was blessed by Swami Yoganandaji.

During the SushasanYatra, BJYM activists from various parts of the country visited different parts of Jammu region and held detailed interactions with the victims of Article 370 and Article 35-A. The team also had a firsthand experience of rich cultural heritage of Jammu region by visiting a number of cultural and heritage sites in the Union Territory.

Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Ashok Kaul appreciated the initiative taken by the BJYM to take out SushasanYatra in different parts of the country and said it provided enough opportunity to visiting team of BJYM to have the knowledge of cultural ethos of Jammu Kashmir.

He said that culture is the common thread binding the citizens of the country across different regions. “There is no concept of border in our culture. Such initiatives not only provide ample opportunity to the people to interact with other communities in a multidimensional manner, but also infuses a sense of togetherness and unity,” saidShKaul.  He also appealed that the BJYM activists should strive hard for the welfare of common masses and for building a strong nation.

In his address, ArunPrabhat state president, BJYM J&K described the decision of BJYM’s national president Tejasvi Surya to launch SushasanYatra in different parts of the country as “historic” and “unique” as it infused a lot of vigour among the youth activists across Jammu region.

“The Yatra has energized the younger generation with a new vigour. Such initiatives will go a long way to understand the cultural ethos of different parts of the country. After having the visit of Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Karnataka and J&K, the BJYM Karyakartasfrom J&K and other parts of the country will now go to other states of the country and interact with the local masses there,” he said.

He said the visiting team interacted with West Pakistan Refugees and the people of Gorkha and Valmiki Samaj, who were also the worst victims of Article 370 and Article 35-A.

“West Pakistan Refugees, Gorkha and Valmiki Samaj were never granted their due share under the discriminatory provisions of laws before the abrogation of Article 370. The historic decision of the Central government changed their lives completely and their children are now able to live a dignified life,” he said.

S. Amandeep Singh, BJYM National Media Incharge said that they had a great and rich experience of the cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir during the Yatra. “The Yatra is also aimed at throwing a light on three key points, Sewa, Sushasan and GaribKalyan, which are the main focus of governance ensured by the BJP-led government at the Centre during the last eight years”, the BJYM leader said.

He added, “Under the theme “8 SaalSeva,Sushasan AurGareebKalyan”, it is also aimed at highlighting the unprecedented development activities initiated by the BJP government under the dynamic and visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi”.
