 The National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha, Smt. Vanati Srinivasan reached Jammu and Kashmir to attend the one-day J&K executive meeting.  During this, she addressed all the women workers of Jammu and Kashmir, first of all she thanked respected Narendra Modi ji for removing Article 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir as in women of Jammu and Kashmir have got special benefit from it.  Because of the removal of the section, now the women of Jammu and Kashmir can  marry outside the state, even after that  now they will have the right in their ancestral property.

 

Furthermore Vanntii ji said that  Country witnessed a huge participation of women in today a Strong participation in  DDC and BDC elections because of the abrogation of 370 and 35A and state could execute 33% reservation in local bodies.

 

 She thanked Modi ji for removing the evil practice of triple talaq and giving women the right to live with Dignity. Along with this, the central schemes which were not being implemented earlier, now  women of J&K Women are getting benefit of all the central schemes  especially UJALA and Ujjwala in the state.

 

The following resolutions were passed in this executive committee:

 

 1. All the vacant posts of women commission should be filled soon.

 

 2. 33 percent reservation should be implemented

In the Legislative Assembly also,

 

 4. In view of covid-19 specially designed isolation w for women and children should be prepared.

 

 5. Security cover be provided to  women Activists in Jammu and Kashmir.

 

 6. Industrial workshop in favour of women empowerment be organised in UT.

 

 7. Pension to widow women below 40 years of age be started.

 

 8. Emphasize be laid on schemes related to pregnant women.

 

 9. Nutritious food for poor class women and children should be start.

 

10. Promote gender sensitization in the workplace to help cultivate a more gender equality culture in working places and promote discussion on advancing female leadership in business political and social Life by conducting seminars and workshops.

 

In this program, BJP State President Ravindra Raina, National General Secretary, Deepti Rawat, BJP State Organization General Secretary, Ashok Kaul were also present.
