BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA JI TODAY VISITED THE HOME OF THE ICON OF INDIA'S FREEDOM MOVEMENT MARTYR SUKHDEV THAPAR AT LUDHIANA IN PUNJAB AND PAID RICH TRIBUTES TO THE MARTYR

 

A day before the birth anniversary of the icon of India's freedom movement Sukhdev Thapar ji, the Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji today visited the ancestral home of the great martyr at Ludhiana in Punjab and paid rich tributes to the freedom fighter.

 

A large number of youth also visited the ancestral home of martyr Sukhdev Thapar ji and offered floral tributes at the bust of the great freedom fighter. 

 

First time post the assembly elections in Punjab, the BJP National President is on a one day trip to the state where he will take part in various organisational meetings. Shri Nadda will also interact with Punjab's industrialists and also address a BJP workers' meeting. He wil leave for Delhi in the evening on Vande Bharat train.

 

After offering his tributes to great freedom fighter Sukhdev Thapar ji, the Bharatiya Janata Party President said he is overwhelmed after visiting the house of the martyr and he is filled with emotions. Shri Nadda said the life of freedom fighter Sukhdev Thapar ji, who brought Britishers on their knees, inspires all Indians including him. Similarly the great contributions of bravehearts Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru in our freedom struggle will never be forgotten and will always be remembered by the generations to come. They are immortals.

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President said at a time when Britishers had created an atmosphere of terror it were our bravehearts Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru who inspired Indians to fight for the freedom of their motherland. They will always remain our idols, a great source of inspiration for all of us and for the generations to come.

 

Shri Nadda said I am returning from this holy place with a lot of inspiration. We all have to learn from their lives who sacrificed everything to make India free and great nation, we have take inspiration from them and strive to make India a great nation. Tomorrow is the birth anniversary of Shaheed Sukhdev Thapar ji, and today we take the pledge that his sacrifices will never be wasted and that people of the country will remember him.

 

On the renovation and restoration of the ancestral home of Shaheed Sukhdev ji, Shri Nadda said he had a long conversation with the members of the Sukhdev Thapar Trust and the Trust will be provided all possible help.
