BJYM to protest the deliberate sabotage of the security of Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi at the behest of the Congress government in Punjab.

New Delhi, January 6, 2022: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha is organizing protests and MashaalJaloos in every district all over India on 6th January 2020 at 6:00 PM to protest the deliberate sabotage of the security of Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi at the behest of the Congress government in Punjab.

Unprecedented subversion of the PM's security in Punjab has shocked all the country's citizens. The breach in the security details and route near Punjab's Hussainiwala in Ferozpur District near Pakistan's border is a serious matter of national security.

30 km away from National Martyrs Memorial in Hussainiwala, when PM's convoy reached a flyover, it was found that some protestors blocked the road. PM was stuck on the flyover for 15-20 minutes. It was a major lapse in PM's security. The travel plan was communicated well in advance to Punjab Government. As per procedure, they must make necessary arrangements for logistics, security and keep a contingency plan ready.

Not only did the security details and route of the Prime Minister leak, but the Congress government also didn't deploy adequate forces to secure the route. The Chief Minister and the top officials of the state government failed to respond to emergency calls from the security team while police failed to clear the roadblocks.

The entire saga has deep conspiracy and complicity of the Congress written over it. Frustrated at the repeated rejection by the people, Congress and its acolytes have been openly asking for foreign intervention in India. Congress leaders have been publicly asking Pakistan to help remove Prime Minister Modi. This serious incident near the border of Pakistan will not be taken lightly by the people of India.

Tejasvi Surya, the President of BJYM, said, "The Congress Party seems to have deliberately put the life of the Prime Minister in danger. This reflects the Punjab Congress Government's lethargy and lack of respect for Constitutional machinery. This entire episode is unacceptable and shameful on the part of the Congress Party. While the Congress is trying to hamper the march of the BJP in Punjab with cheap politics, the BJP will focus on service to the nation and society."

He continues further, "I hope that the sternest actions are taken against the ones at fault to ensure this never repeats."

BJYM strongly condemns the Congress government of Punjab and warns the Congress party that it must not take our commitment to democracy as a sign of weakness. BJYM will protest every district against Congress and its leadership to demand an unconditional apology. We demand thatthe Congress government of Punjab cooperates with the investigations to ensure swift and strict punishment to those responsible for putting the security of the Prime Minister of India at risk.
