New Delhi, August 10, 2022: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha under the leadership of its National President and M.P. Shri Tejasvi Surya held bike rallies in all assembly constituencies in India on the 9th and 10th of August. This bike rally was to promote the Har Ghar Tiranga – Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav campaign of the central government. Every bike rally held in assembly constituency were comprised of more than 75 bikes with a Tiranga on each bike.
Thousands of youths across the country promoted this campaign and joined BJYM to showcase their love and dedication for our Nation. In several districts MLAs and MPs also joined in for the bike rally. The whole event promoted the feeling of unity and oneness amongst all spectators. The rallies went through markets and fuelled heavily populated areas with patriotism.
‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark the 75th year of India’s independence. Our relationship with the flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation in the 75th year of independence thus becomes symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our commitment to nation-building. The idea behind the initiative was to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
The national president of BJYM and Member of parliament Shri Tejasvi Surya participated in a bike rally held at Ballabhgarh, Haryana on 9th August. While addressing the youth Shri Tejasvi Surya said-“This har ghar tiranga yatra is a celebration of the completion of 75 years of independence of our country. This yatra signifies pride and honor of over 125 crore Indians of the world’s largest democracy. This Har ghar Tiranga yatra is a message, loud and clear from over a billion Indians that “India is one”. Such events plays a pivotal role in strengthening the spirit of patriotism among the youth of India reminding them about the glorious past and the bright future ahead.The tricolour is the epitome of the sovereignty and integrity of India. On the occasion of India’s 75th independence day I request all the youth to renounce laziness and move forward on the path of nation building with renewed vigor.”
