Former Congress MP from Varanasi and senior Congress leader Shri Rajesh Kumar Mishra joins the Bharatiya Janata Party family

 

Former Uttar Pradesh INC Varanasi MP & Senior Congress leader Shri Rajesh Kumar Mishra has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of BJP National General Secretary Shri Arun Singh, Senior BJP Leader and Member of Parliament Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, BJP National Media Incharge Shri Anil Baluni and National Media Co-Incharge Shri Sanjay Mayukh at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday.

 

Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Shri Arun Singh noted that leaders from various parties are joining the BJP family to become participants in the ongoing development journey across the country under the splendid leadership of respected Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. The Prime Minister is seen as a messiah, particularly among the poor. In line with this, today Shri Rajesh Kumar Mishra is also joining the party. Shri Arun Singh highlighted BJP's achievements in the last decade under PM Shri Narendra Modi's leadership. He congratulated Shri Rajesh Kumar Mishra on behalf of Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda.

 

Former Uttar Pradesh INC MP, Shri Rajesh Kumar Mishra expressed gratitude to the top leadership of the BJP, noting that he began his political journey with the Congress but now intends to conclude it with the Bharatiya Janata Party. Shri Mishra conveyed the popular saying in Banaras, "Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi," indicating that this energetic atmosphere will endure until the announcement of the election results. Shri Rajesh Kumar Mishra praised Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for elevating India's reputation globally and remarked that Varanasi is fortunate to have the Hon’ble Prime Minister representing the constituency. He expressed confidence that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the BJP will secure a substantial majority across the country, including Varanasi. Shri Rajesh Mishra pledged to uphold the party's goals and advance the BJP's ideology under the esteemed leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the guidance of Hon’ble National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji & Hon’ble Union Home Minister & Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah ji.
